    All arguments against the DEI boogeyman begin with the assumption that anyone not a straight white male is automatically unqualified for the job. Just look at the vitriol directed at the LA fire chief. 22-year veteran of the force, but because she’s a woman she’s definitely not qualified for the job. Sad!
