Man-oh-man is this going to be a whopper. We’ve never seen a storm intensify like this so quickly. It’s fueled by the warmest waters in the Gulf in recorded history. Hope people are able to get to safety.

Smelly Jockstrap Awards (Not Game Balls) vs Texans
Roundybout replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Historically broken? We’re 3-2 and in first place in the East! Can we reserve the hyperbole for teams that actually deserve it? -

Can’t wait to fire him and replace him with Adam Gase because the grass is always greener. -
Are we figured out already? The issues as I see them

I mean come on. What is Josh supposed to do here? -
Given that all advanced metrics show he’s top-5 in going for it, as an example, yes I think he’s fine. His defense adjusted perfectly yesterday and gave our offense the chance to win it. Twice. They failed.

Hell, John Brown caught those
-
When was the last time McD used that phrase? It’s like people locking onto “the process” even though he hasn’t said that since like 2019. Again, come on.

One of the few bright spots yesterday. -
What goal could McD possibly have to make the offense worse? Why would he ever decide this? Come on.

This is the most baffling part of the offense this year.

But if that’s the case, it comes back to Hollins slowing up and tracking the ball poorly. It went off his fingertips.
-
More air under it? It was up there for 4-5 seconds!
-
Disagree. You don’t get AFC OPOTM for nothing.
-
But the ball landed ahead of him?
-
Look at the 19 second mark. Hollins tracks it horribly and slows down then panics and tries to speed up. It’s a fine deep ball.

YPP said it’s the correct shoulder
-
Worth its own discussion since that could have changed the game. It’s arguable this wasn’t the best throw in the world, but it’s 100% catchable. To me, there’s plenty of arc and time for Hollins to adjust under it, and instead he makes this bizarre stop and start that loses him ground.

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
Roundybout replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
At minimum, you’d think they’d use Samuel on the old Cole Beasley crossing routes. those were Josh’s bread and butter. -

Brady had incredible pass catchers! Moss, Gronk, Welker, Edelman, etc. -

But you’re not hearing me, I’m saying Allen lofted the ball with plenty of arc and a good downfield receiver would have had plenty of time to adjust under it. Hollins read it horribly. The Kincaid one had zero arc. -

The Kincaid one was a bad throw 100% but I still disagree. Allen lofted the throw to Hollins with enough arc that Hollins should totally have been able to adjust. -

It was completely catchable. He stopped twice because he lost the ball in midair. -

Oh sorry, let me try again in a way you’ll prefer. McDermott is literally Hitler and is the worst coach to ever step foot on the field. He killed Josh’s grandmother and put sugar in Diggs’ gas tank. We had a deal in place for CeeDee Lamb, Davante Adams, and a clone of Bruce Smith and he vetoed it because he only wants 14 points a game. He calls me at night and leaves threatening voice mail. Better? -

I think the notion that McD is actively neutering the offense is insane and absurd.
