I’m going to actually put out some realistic options (that I’m sure will never happen) but will show that help is out there Deion Jones - Atlanta is done. They are absolutely about to rebuild and I’m sure would be interested in any form of draft capital. Eric Kendricks - have to believe it’s about to come off the rails in Minnesota. Can’t imagine they’d be anything but sellers right now Zach Ertz - Already frustrated in Philly. That team is a complete mess and they at least have another guy at TE. I bet he’s very available and he could absolutely put our offense over the edge. Geno Atkins - Frustrated in Cincinnati. Could be the veteran leader we need on defense. He’s not in the future plans of the young bengals. He could really help us out on defense right now. Even at an advanced age

If the bills keep trying to make Josh Allen - Drew Brees, it’s never going to work. Allen is what Newton was. You just got to let him play with his legs. I’m so happy he had a great 4 games passing this year. We will beat a lot of bad teams that way. He’s at his best when he’s running. Today is what he is against every good team. You just have to stop asking this guy to throw 40 times a game. He’s never going to be that guy. Let Allen run for 60 and throw for 230. We will beat good teams that way.

There are a few weeks left to still make some moves. This season is at a potential crossroads. We can ride it out like this and expect it to fix itself ...or we can try and take advantage of an opportunity. D-line: The Defensive line could be the biggest weakness of this team right now. Not only do we never get any pressure on the QB but teams are blowing us backwards off the ball. It’s leaving lanes that a bus could drive through for the Running backs and making life impossible for our LBs. Our Dline needs a nastiness that it’s sorely missing. I’d be doing everything I could to bring in DTs that are 340+. These tiny guys aren’t getting it there. Set the tone up front and allow our LBs to run clean. It’s setting the tone in a bad way right at the snap. LB : How long has it been, since the Bills have had a physically imposing LB? A guy that can run and hit. Not a 2 down dinosaur or slim fast coverage guy? A guy like Cowart, or Spikes? This team is lacking a physical presence from the LB position so badly. Milano is an amazing cover LB but he’s not overly physical. Some how we need to get better at that position. Edmunds is absolutely killing us. He plays so slow and lost out there. The guy looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane. He’s not a rookie anymore. It’s year 3. Maybe he just sucks? A trade for a big time LB could help this defense immensely. Running game : I may be in the minority but I don’t think it’s the RBs. I think our issue with the running game is the scheme. I can’t stand running the ball out of shotgun and I can’t stand running it out of 11 personnel. I realize the league has been going away from the FB position for a while but if you look at the physical teams...they have one. A FB helps you a lot more then it gets credit for. Teams do not respect our running game and it’s starting to hurt our passing game. Allen needs to be involved more in the run game. Lee Smith needs to be on the field to help out the run. I would bring in a real FB or move Knox to FB to help 26 and 20 out. We need to get back to a more balanced look on offense. Allen is not consistent enough to beat physical defenses with 40 drop backs. We need to introduce some physicality back into the rushing attack and run the ball, even when the other team expects you to run. This team is way to soft. Even if our identity is changing to a passing attack, you still need balance. It’s also fine that our defensive identity is to stop the pass first. But you can’t just allow teams to blow you off the ball. Football is still a game of physicality. That is the type of football that travels. It’s also the type of personality that gives you a look against the elite teams. It’s early enough to still add useful pieces. We have a legit shot at the division for once. Beane can’t sit on his hands here. We need to bring in at least 2 guys in this front 7. The time to fix this mess is now. Don’t wait until after the deadline passes.

I’m just going to be real. I will think we can beat the Pats, when we beat the Pats. That game is going to be a ***** hand full. There is no part of me that is going to expect the bills to beat a physical, well coached team. Do it first. Then I will expect it. Until we win in a big spot, I expect the worst. That’s on the Bills. Not me. And people need to stop overlooking the Dolphins

I hope you are right. I wish I had that optimism. I just need to see this team beat a good team before I expect it. I’m in no position to expect a playoff win. I think that’s absolutely absurd to be honest. Hope I’m wrong. Better get it going here. If you think The coach of the Patriots isn’t going to figure out how to exploit the same weakness the chiefs did tonight....you are crazy. I’m aware of the playoff format. We better get that run defense fixed before the Pats game because they will eat us up. I’m sure our offense will have all it wants against the Pats D. If we can stop the run, we are guna get smashed.

This defense needs to get fixed now. I don’t give a ***** what the league is like now. I’m not just conceding defensive efforts because scoring in the league is up. You can’t expect your offense to score on every possession. Especially with this QB. I don’t care what other teams do, I care about this one. Fix the ***** defense. Get rid of Fraiser tomorrow. He is terrible. Let McDermott take the Defense over. Get Edmunds off the field. He is killing us. Bring in at least 1 LB and some Dline help. The answer is not in the building. This is a great week to add. Use the Jet game as a transition week and get the new guys ready for NE. You can’t keep running the same guys out there. Edmunds needs to be benched. Period. He flat out sucks.
