  1. Rex should have called a timeout. It seems that everyone's excuse is "it's a penalty!!!" OK, it's a penalty. Why give them an opportunity to run a play? Call a timeout.
  2. Are you serious? You do realize that a touchdown was scored there and yet you don't think a timeout should have been used? I don't know how long it's been since I read something so uninformed. You what would have happened if a flag had been thrown & a TO called? The TO would be returned to the Bills. Wow. Two people who would prefer to keep a timeout rather than giving up a touchdown. Unreal.
  3. He and McKelvin. Who else is on the cut list?
  4. Didn't we have a thread a few weeks back about Cockrell? People were all over the place talking about how another DB wouldn't matter, now we want to cut McKelvin too? Brilliant Bills fans, just brilliant.
  5. Who would you have us blame? Oh, I know the answer to this one, my apologies. It's the refs. You're right. It's the refs.
  6. We have consistency.
  7. You are blind to the truth. He's performed very well IMO at CB prior to injury and I think he filled in well at safety. He on the field is so far superior to D. Williams which was another coaching fail. That's enough back and forth on this one, you see one thing I see another.
  8. Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.
  9. No other answer is possible here.
  10. So far from the truth Joe.
  11. Coaches decided they didn't want Thigpen. Sorry to see Leodis fumble, but, IMO, he shouldn't have been back there in the first place. (coach's decision) Wish he had been on the field more last night on the defensive side. Dookie Whiff Williams sucks and deserves the wrath of the fans...Not Leodis.
  12. I demand a recount! There's a hanging chad in my post.
  13. Like I said earlier, I see Rex jumping in front of the sucky official before he brings the whistle to his lips and exhales. I really don't care what an unbiased blind depends wearing former sucky official says.
  14. In general, how good do you think officiating is in the NFL? Why do you put stock in someone who is no longer good enough to officiate in the NFL?
  15. Communication from the sideline to the huddle is coaching. Allowing a TD play rather than calling a TO is coaching. Not having enough players on the field on a first down play is coaching. Interfering with an official is coaching. Leodis returning punts is coaching. X's & O's on defense were spot on. That is coaching. X's & O's on offense were spotty at best. That is coaching.
  16. Apparently you didn't see the replay of him jumping in front of the ref (before the inadvertent whistle) through your rose colored glasses.
  17. IMO...that ball was not thrown well. Don't know if it was the wind or what, but Taylor was sailing the ball last night. Still, shoulda coulda didn't...
  18. As depleted as they are you better believe that game was there for the taking. I don't cotton to no defeatist thinking, and, don't deflect. Do you honestly believe that Rex Ryan performed as successful NFL head coaches do last night? The moment was too big for him and he (and his offensive team) was woefully unprepared to succeed last night.
  19. Very true, in theory, but, he is a head coach & that's the point of the thread.
  20. A 15 yard sideline interference penalty. Poor communication between the sidelines and the field. A timeout prior to a first down play. A non-timeout prior to a pats*** touchdown. (I assume that the inadvertent whistle wasn't open to review because it was a judgement call?) What am I missing? That's one game folks.
