Of course I support the team but I'll be damned if you ever see me outside cheering in a parade for a guy that missed a game winning superbowl or something similar.
I wholehearatedly support this statement from Angry Mob though,

and beerball, do you even know what playoff hockey is since you get ejected by some team usually when you guys get your hopes up that you even have a chance of making the playoffs. Funny thing is the Sens will probably win a cup before Toronto ever makes it to the finals.
Um, ya. So I will assume that you are talking to me because the guy with the name "beerball" is not participating in this thread. Funny thing is you must not watch playoff hockey because if you did you would know that every time the Sens face the Leafs in the playoffs they get eliminated, see the last three years of playoff hockey.
But hey that could change this year. They have a much better team and are in fact tougher.

Thats because they play dirty, all the time. They get away with it too. You can't tell me that Sundin punching two sabres in the back of the head and the Sabres getting the penalties for it doesn't show the referees bias towards the leafs. Or Mike Grier getting called for goaltender interference when he never even touched the goaltender, when it convieniently gave the leafs a 5-3.
Face it, the leafs can't even win when the deck is stacked. I know you hear it in the back of your head... "Lets Go Buff-a-lo!"

But the refs have been horrible all year for all teams. Are you telling me the Sabres haven't gotten away with a few? Of course if you listen to Rick Jeaneret you would think everything is a penalty that should have been called against everbody on the ice at any given tiome playing Buff.

Well for me my hatred of the Steelers is deep rooted and I dont buy the root for your division/conference crap.
I don't root for the Yankees when the Jays are eliminated.

Last night in Florida, the Leafs had two 5 on 3's in third period. Of course, they scored two PP goals and held on to win and break their 8 game losing streak. The refs gave the Leafs a late PP tonight and didn't call two sure thing penalties against them in the 3rd. Want to know why?
The NHL wants the Leafs to be in the playoffs for one simple reason $$$$$$$. HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA TV RATINGS AND LABATTS ADVERTISING DOLLARS. No Leafs in the playoffs and ratings in Canada go down and advertising dollars go down. HNIC and Labatt's have a lot of pull with Gary Buttman. The Leafs have been getting all the calls going there way to keep them close to the 8th spot. Teams have to beat the refs first and then the hapless Leafs.

Um ya. If you look you will find that the Leafs are much closer to the top of the most penalized teams.
I know. But I think you really dislike them because they do make the playoffs year after year, where your team, well, well, poop.

Why in the world would you put a 6'4" 230 pound guy that far away from the net with the man advantage? I understand that McCabe was out but he's back now. Oh, and nice officiating in Tampa tonight. They give the Leafs a PP with about a dime left and then the Leafs literally commit two penalties within 15 seconds of each other and they call NEITHER.

There are some good ones on here. I know some ass clown ran a post about polling his avatar before. That's not what this is meant to be.
I know mine rubs some/all people the wrong way and to that I say, good!
My examples right now:
Winner for most dumb ass look, Taterhill
Winner for humor, Clements 22
Winner for makes me think the guy is a jerk, Simon
Taterhill's is just redneck.
Clements 22 I understand, even though it's wrong.
Since I rarely like anything he writes I think Simon's is probably the most appropriate for pissing me off with the fingers flying. It's very effective though!
He could say nothing in a post and it would still piss me off!

Lastly I would like to mention how some people base their opinions on a members name/moniker.
