Its a good read in terms of players value at the assigned pick..  little taste

"Just like we did over the holidays, it’s time to pick six prospective players at each of the Bills’ nine picks. We’ll do this based on player value, fit with the Bills’ archetype, positional need, and work ethic. My “Pick Six”, if you will. You will often see these names grabbed by the Bills in the DraftTek mocks, and they will undoubtedly change as we get closer and closer to April 23–25, 2020."

    "ROUND 1, Pick 22
    Laviska Shenault WR Colorado
    Tee Higgins WR Clemson
    K’Lavon Chaisson OLB LSU
    Xavier McKinney S Alabama
    Mekhi Becton OT Louisville
    Henry Ruggs III WR Alabama

The Best Value on DraftTek Big Board: Shenault.
The Biggest Reach on DraftTek Big Board: Chaisson.
The Most Interesting Stat: Shenault’s 78.2% catch rate to Higgins’ 65.6%

Who I’m Picking: Laviska Shenault, WR, Colorado. He was so versatile that Daboll’s drooling right now. The Buffs used him in slot, outside WR, H-back, tailback, TE, wildcat QB, and even a punt return (54 yards). He outweighs Higgins by 20 pounds. That’s before wings."

A safety, really? That's about the last thing we need, unless he can play CB.

Also, not sure why Chaisson is seen as a reach at pick 22...he will definitely be gone in the top-25 picks, he's a stud.

I’m more of a Shenault fan.  I think he’s a much better fit.  He can do it all

    A better fit, how so?

With an inaccurate QB, I would say the 6-4 WR with a massive wingspan is a much better fit than the smaller WR.

Plus Higgins has proven he is a stud on the biggest stage, against the best competition.

  3. I don't think we see a real #1 WR...Beane has gone on record saying they don't believe in that concept.

They always struggled to surround Cam Newton with good weapons in Carolina. They tried with guys like Ginn, Benjamin and Funchess, but never got it right.

They're building this offense just like it was built in Carolina. (The same could be said of the defense, actually.)

I don't think Cooper adds a new dimension to the offense. I also don't want to pay a receiver more than $15 mil/year when we throw the ball so little.

I want someone with size who can add a dimension to our vertical passing game and in the red zone.

A rookie 1st rounder and another rookie from like the 5th round would be nice.

There are 20 receivers currently in CBS's top 100 players. I've read other scouts on Twitter day they have as many as 25 receivers in their top 100.

With so much talent, 3rd round guys are going to be available in the 5th round as teams prioritize positions with less talent.

The entire point of getting a true #1 WR is so we can throw the ball more...that is why they need one.

And Amari Cooper is 6-1, 205, so he definitely adds a dimension to the offense we desperately lack...that said, I'd rather draft a WR to grow and develop with Allen.

I used to think it was tied to being a Small Market. I do not believe that anymore as other Small Market teams get On Primetime regularly.

so then I use to think well it is because they haven’t been good. While that can still somewhat hold water I am starting to think otherwise because I see bad teams on Primetime all the time.

So my theory is Leverage. And Leverage is something I would not put past the NFL at all.   The Powers to be are clearly upset that we are still playing in an older stadium. Even with New ownership the same thing comes up all the time from around the league about how we need a Stadium solution. It is the topic at every owners meeting and routinely mentioned by The Commish.

I would not put it past the NFL ONE BIT to be not putting Bills on Primetime (or featured on their network during the talk shows or training camp rotations etc etc) until they have that nice new Shiny Stadium.

    what are you thought?

I'd bet the Bills 1pm/4pm national games don't do well either, and it has more to do with that.

I know when I lived in Myrtle Beach it was like getting teeth pulled to find a place that would show their game when it was on...and when I did, people would complain.

How much do they save cutting Murphy?

Lawson is having a good year. Is this good year due to steady progression or is it motivated by a contract? Either way I think Lawson is a very good rotational player. What’s that cost? $7m or $12m?
I do like drafting a DE early. I think DE/CB will be the Bills first two picks depending on value.

That would be an absolutely awful idea. The defense is borderline elite. The offense is still atrocious, especially the passing game.

THIS TEAM NEEDS A LEGIT WR. Someone who an opposing defensive coordinator actually even pretends to gameplan for. Someone who can grow with our "franchise QB." (And please spare me with the John Brown is a #1 WR stuff. Putting him at #2 and Beasley at #3 takes this offense into the modern era and makes them scary.)

Why you ask?  Because since deadline we have a new team basically.  It's almost like all positions are improving....

-Milano and Edmund's have looked much better last few weeks.

    - Kevin johnson > Levi

    -Taron johnson back into form

-Defensive line has started to gel.  Figuring out the run D.   Getting some sacks...even star playing decent.

    - On offense both brown and beasley are now catching TDs more regularly.

    - OLINE has finally come together and are mauling people

    - Josh looks great

    - Singletary starting to break out.

Funny enough by doing nothing we are really starting to gel as a team...and looking better week by week.

No, they've just played garbage teams...not improving the team will cost them a wild card win in the playoffs.

The past 3 weeks have had all of us questioning this team, no doubt. I’m going to say we take care of bitness against the Phins, Broncos, Jets and Steelers to finish 10-6 and make the playoffs for the first time in Josh Allen’s career.

I won’t try and predict playoff success, but let’s assume we’re drafting somewhere in the 20-28 range. Most would agree the Bills need help at multiple positions, and WR would be near the top of that list. My choice would be Tyler Johnson from Minnesota.

Last year, I was high on Terry McLaurin. Experienced guy with excellent separation and route running ability. These types of guys have proven over and over to be incredibly valuable. The athletic freaks are much harder to predict, and much more dangerous to pick. A guy like Johnson seems to be safer and have almost as high of a ceiling while also having a far higher floor. Check out the article below that outlines some of his abilities and highlight plays. He’s the real deal.

    GO BILLS!

WR IS at the top of the list...multiple offensive weapons should be.

I hope he is indeed overrated, and they also over-paid. I want the Bills to be the Pats* of the last 20 years (without the cheating....or at least getting caught!) and own the AFC for the next couple decades.

One little trade won't matter...they have a better version of Michael Vick and a legit #1 WR, they'll be just fine.
(Which shocks me, because I did not think Jackson would be this good.)

Meh. It's no Wallace, White, Johnson, Poyer, and Hyde.

Solid homerism right here...that secondary is studly.

Humphrey, Smith and Peters would all start over Wallace and Johnson, and Earl Thomas is worlds better than our safeties.

During the game, the announcers mentioned that the last guy who missed 4 FGs in one game was GB's Mason Crosby - and that was in a dome. He also missed a PAT that day.

I'm not saying Santos is as good as Crosby, but I wouldn't cut a guy for one bad day ... unless I needed a scapegoat, of course.

Yep, and before him it was Dan Carpenter in 2010...against the Bills.

    Nope. Foles is Trash.

pull the plug on a QB that is 3-1 with 5 comebacks on his resume. Wow I am starting to see more and more clowns as Bills fans. Maybe too many brain injuries from the tables.

I wouldn't pull the plug on Allen either, but he has more INT's/turnovers than he does TD's...let's not act like he's John Elway or something.

(Still can't believe this team traded away Patrick Mahomes...and don't give me the "he wouldn't be the same here," the kid is flat out uber-talented.)

  12. How about the bottle and can redemption center out here in Canandaigua? Lol.

    Do they think...

    A. That there isn't a place to return cans and bottles in Buffalo, and....

    B. That people are going to drive from Buffalo, or even Rochester, to return their cans and bottles in Canandaigua?

It cracks me up every time I hear it, I'll have to ask them about it next time I go there...it's just the weirdest thing.

With the way Beasley plays versus how Edleman plays on the field, does this help with the preparation of the Bills defense against NE this weekend? I think shutting down Edleman will be key to beating NE. Thoughts?

Beasley is nothing like Edelman...he can't hold Edelman's jock, and that hurts to admit.
