Let's see him complete 60% of his passes, or throw for 300 yards once, before we anoint him the MVP.

All the QB's and Henry Ruggs.

14 UDFA's is a lot...they don't typically bring that many to camp, it's usually more like 8-10 guys.
I think they should look into the remaining free agents, I'd rather have them than UDFA's who don't stand a chance of making this roster.
Meanwhile, Everson Griffen and Devonta Freeman could walk in as starters right now. (And both would be cheap.) -

The lack of talent in the 2015 class was one of the reasons Whaley was more comfortable trading away that 1st in order to move up in 2014. Folks saw that stinker class coming miles away.
Too bad he didn't pick Mack in 2014 like he should have.
That's giving Whaley an awful lot of credit...I think he made the trade because he thought he had to, in order to get his young QB a WR.
No way do I think he knew enough about the 2015 draft class to make that kind of decision.- 11

He's riding a horse...that's news worthy? Lol.

I can never resist a good chance to bash Decoy Watkins.
Do you know Cole Beasley— basically our slot guy— on a team that is 5 times less explosive than the Chiefs, had better production that Watkins?
Beasley was a #2 option...Watkins was behind Hill, Kelce, and sometimes even Hardman and Robinson.

If Devin Singletary can't handle competition, then I don't want him on my team.
You don't pass up a player because you want another player to get more touches...build the strongest team you can and the rest will sort itself out.- 2

For once, I trust this front office. The Tre White deal with get done when it gets done. But rest assured, it will get done.

I wonder if Field gets paid by the Panthers for hyperbole.
I think that's a very solid stable of weapons.
They finally got weapons and they go and cut Cam loose. Lol. -

I gotta look into the linemen coming out, but now that they have Diggs, I hope they use the 2nd on an O- lineman if a good prospect is there. Can never have too many.
They already have a 2nd round lineman they can't figure out where to play. Lol. They need a pass-rusher.

He's a 3-4 OLB who has never played DE, I'd rather sign a true DE.
As for LB's, I'd rather sign Kirksey or try to trade for Shaq Thompson. -

Hey everyone. Last year we did a few mock drafts on here (a month before, no trades, weekend before) just for fun and to see how close we could get it. Like everyone else, we were crap but we did get the Oliver pick right.
A few wanted to do a draft before the combine hype to see how much that changed the results, so I'm going to do one this week. I also understand that Free Agency will affect how teams draft, but that's also the point to see how much things change. Right now, I'm going to tentatively say we will start the draft on Wednesday morning, but if this takes off like some have in the past, it could be sooner or if everyone is on football hiatus, later.
Trades are allowed, but must be approved first. Need to use the standard trade chart plus 10% value. The Bills will be drafted by a TSW member, not sure who yet. Please don't volunteer for them.
Since this is the first try this early and of the off-season, I expect some bumps. As we will have 4 total Mock Drafts, how people "show-up" will dictate who gets selected for the final draft.
When it's your turn to draft, please use the following format:
With the 1st pick, the Bengals Select Joe Burrow, QB LSU. The Redskins (@TSW Member) are on the clock and then a brief summary of why.
As I type all of this, I can see how much this has evolved in 3 years on here. In any case, here are the available teams. Please respond with 3 teams you are willing to GM for. I will update who gets who as quickly as I can. I tried to pull up last years thread but couldn't find it, so if you were a GM last year and I forgot, I apologize.

There’s no way it happens. No chance in hell. Burrow is from OH and the perfect player they need. Miami could have 10 first round picks, they won’t trade.
Agreed. There's zero chance the Bengals trade that pick.

They need a new stadium and it needs to be put downtown.

You mean Lynn Bowden?
I honestly don't know any names...but I figured there has to be some QB out there that can be turned into a weapon on offense.
EDIT: A QB who won't cut it as an NFL QB.
-
I'd take him in a heartbeat, but our offense isn't creative enough to have someone like him make an impact.
10 hours ago, Kirby Jackson said:This Is kind of the point. Taysom isn’t worth discussing IMO because he isn’t going anywhere. He’s, arguably, the most popular player on the Saints. They continue to expand his role and think the world of him. Taysom just isn’t a realistic option for anyone but the Saints.
The 3rd option should be, “It doesn’t matter what I think because he’s not leaving the Saints.” That option should receive 100% of the votes.
Or a 3rd option of: "Let's just find our own Taysom Hill in the late rounds of the draft."

If Dobbins is there in the 2nd I think the value is just to much to pass (though I hate taking RBs in 1st or 2nd). There are more check my RB Primer I have the names in Tiers (based on my early grades)How do I find that?
-
1 minute ago, MAJBobby said:
there are a bunch. Depends what round you really want to take a RB. I like the kid from LSU in the 3rd or Eno Benjamin in the 3rd3rd or 4th round seems about right.
I'll check them out, thank you.

2 minutes ago, MAJBobby said:
Yep. I don’t think he translates well to a 4-3DE.
How about RB...is there a big workhorse type of RB that we could pair with Singletary?
Or is that more of a free agency thing? -
1 minute ago, MAJBobby said:
I have him as a Tier 1 (1st round grade) LBerand a Tier 2 (2nd round grade) Edge
So he'd be a reach for the Bills, but not so much for a 3-4 team in the same spot, is basically what you're saying?
I'm still holding out hope that Vosean Joseph can take Alexander's spot...but wouldn't be opposed to a LB in the 3rd or 4th round. -
I don't see him as anything different than Knox and Sweeney...his play was certainly elevated by having a top-5 QB throwing to him.
-
Just now, MAJBobby said:
that is what is valued in that area according to Astros Rankings. And yes I also see Chaisson as a reach at 22It doesn't really jive with the "fit with the Bills" and "positional need" part of his explanation.
Don't see it with Chaisson, I think he's a top-25 player all day...wouldn't want the Bills to draft him though, simply because I'm Team "WR or Bust."
