Couple obvious pick plays, hands to the face on the Chiefs' OL all night long. Typical holding on offense and defense. Missed facemask that everyone watching could see from a mile away and the opposite side of the camera. An obvious non-catch that could have turned the game. This was just another horrendous officiating night. The Chiefs will get away with 90% of their penalties and we'll be grateful they called 10%.

If Bass is going to make 86% of his field goals but also 86% of his XPs I'll take it. I won't like it, but I'll take it.

There was one play on the last drive where he actually took advantage of that setup and Josh missed it. You can't run an ineffective play all game long just for one play. You don't even know if you'll have the opportunity or if it will work.

Good points. But calling run plays up the middle on 90% of 1st downs when the Chiefs are playing against the run all night trumps all that. That's why I said a better coordinator than play caller. He clearly has these backups ready to go as well as possible, he's just not calling a good game. See: run up the middle on 3rd & 2 that just happened.

Cook has been way too hesitant on these screens. He has the space and tries to juke a defender instead of just gunning it.

I'm sure the coaches stressed all week to never give up on coverage when Mahomes rolls out. Mahomes didn't even have anywhere to run with our defenders closing in, and Douglas should have been able to see that.

What a horrible play by Douglas. Mahomes had one guy he could throw it to and Douglas isn't even in the area of his man.

That stutter step he uses really puts defenders on skates and then he just scoots around them.

It's definitely a little of both. Vandemark is playing well considering the circumstances but he's been worked a few times. But also Josh is hurrying throws when he doesn't have to and not seeing open receivers.

They've been horrible against short passes all year. It's their only weakness. Problem is we're missing our pass catching TE and our other threat on the perimeter to draw coverage. Makes it easy on a defense.

DL is getting good pressure. Chiefs are holding and setting picks all over the place and getting the ball out fast. McD and Babich needed to wake the ***** up after the first couple plays to Worthy. They didn't adjust and he walks in for a TD.

I listen to Joe every day and I understand his belief in EPA but all of these advanced analytics take into account bad teams even if the numbers are adjusted for them. If we face the Ravens in the playoffs and they just run the ball every single play they will kill us unless we make significant changes to our game plan. This is my biggest problem with McDermott. He relies on his system no matter the situation and no matter the opponent because it works 80% of the time and that will get you into the playoffs every year. However, when you play against good teams, you have to be willing to throw something new at your opponent or they will just exploit your weaknesses with ease. We see it happen every single year.
