actually, I think the fact that Teague was EVER a starting LT in Denver is a positive for him. It shows that he has the talent to play there since Denver knows their o-linemen.

why the hell would we cut teague? we're trying to build depth along the OL, here... plus, we still have no LT, a position he's played

in order to not make stupid trade proposals, put yourself in the other team's shoe. imagine that you have Jason Taylor on your team... he's one of the few great pass rushers in the league... now some team comes along and offers you Travis Henry and a 4th rounder for him... he's just a running back, this draft is deep on RB's... would you make this deal? of course not... you would laugh them off the phone or out the door. then why are we even discussing this?

Keep dreaming that this "big stud" will come to Buffalo... not happening... why would the Bills go out and add a bunch of salary this season to make a run when they have a freaking first-time starter at QB? No, TD's job is to continue to add young talent at sensible salaries, save cap space, and then if your boy JP is any good, they can play for a crescendo in two seasons and go for the Bowl. Philly signed Kearse and Owens because it was the right time for them to make a run at the Bowl. This is NOT the right time for the Bills. Plus, there were no Kearse or Owens out there this year in FA.

Yeah, only if you actually believe that the Bills had a great D last year. They beat up on a bunch of bad teams and choked against the Steelers. They remain just a good defense until they can start making plays in the clutch.

My point is, I'm not sure how seriously I should take the opinions of someone who thinks Tom Brady sucks. Apparently you don't even take yourself seriously as you're beginning to flip-flop on him. Good post, but I disagree. Defense wins championships, and that's been the consistent Super Bowl formula for decades. New England wins because Belichick is the best defensive mind in football history. There are other factors but that is the most important one. We should imitate New England (and Baltimore, Tampa Bay, and other champions with great defenses) by building the best D we can. When the Bills win the Bowl, it'll be with the best defense in football, a D that makes plays especially in critical moments.

well, they certainly eliminated the pretense that the emperor could be someone other than palpatine... this movie's going to be good
