In St.Catharines (1hr. from Toronto) the CFL is not looked at as legitimate by most sports fans I've met. I'ts percieved as a joke by most. Canadians probably show a liking for it in a survey just to show their patriotism I would guess.

Good post. It's like tripple A ball vs. the MLB. It's almost identical other than the pitching. The CFL and the NFL are almost identical other than the lines. (linebacker too). the questionable Canadian content rule hurts the CFL immensly.

They're having trouble finding a way to help New England get Buffalo at home after their bye.

I always take solice in the fact that in the NFL every team endures change and no team can truelly stack itself like it once did- Pittsburgh in the 70's Buffalo in the 90's. It's for that i believe 8-8 (9-7 or 7-9) is most likely. I I see a slow start and strong 'home weather' finish.

Willis is reportedly lighter. I'm not sure if that's a good thing. I doubt Willis will benefit by this. Is he now re- inventing himself as a shifty HB? What i think he needs instead, is a better knowledge of the NFL game. Better knowledge of his linemates and tight ends, coaches.

No, Buffalo can't pass from they're own 1 to the 20. That would be frigg'n stupid. Parcells wouldn't call it with Simms, Bledsoe, Testeverde, Hostetler etc. Because you lose games making stupid calls. You get your young QB crushed and his progress set back when the sack fumble or int. is shown over and over on the dozens of highlight shows across the nation. You elevate your opposition when they get a turnover deep in the other end. Then Fezmid, they will score on your ass. You've been a Bills fan a while now right? Haven't you seen enough of that stupid crap from the likes of Pendry, Sheppard, and the king of the dumb ass playcall, Kevin Gilbride. I'll be looking for your whiney post about how bad Buffalo's offense is when they lose games because of stupid calls like the the ones you endorse.

The first pass to Evans was low. Perfectly low. just where it should be for a clean reception, no chance for int. little chance of high impact hit. It was dropped. JP's fumble inside his 20 won't happen in the regular season. There's no way coach will hang out his inexperienced qb by calling a pass inside his 20 on the road with the good punt team and good defense Buffalo has. I hope not anyway.

It's true Posey hasn't improved- or come close to the numbers he put up in his last year in Houston. he batted 5 passes out of the air that year, has had none with Buffalo- but that maybe because he's more of a "piece of the puzzle" instead of being the man. I doubt they'll make a change.
