The debate? My cable service provider does not offer Comedy Central, I'm out of luck!

Go Falcons? Not so fast. I have a fantasy dilemma for tonight's game. I'm down by four and have Julio Jones, the guy I'm playing has Matt Ryan. Michael Thomas is on the wire.....what is the odds on move to make? Stay with the stud and try and nickel and dime his QB or ride with the long shot that won't reward Ryan? Also Julio is banged up, hard to know how much that will matter though as he had been questionable for the majority of his career. Where are the smart people tonight!? Please help I'm 1-1 and my RB situation is bleeeeek because of injuries.

Sammy Powell. Obviously.

At this rate his vacation plans for Columbus Day will work out perfectly. -

Sammy is like the girl you bring home from the bar that don't put out.

Sorry, but I'm still going to miss Hogan
CommonCents replied to dollars 2 donuts's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Uhh that's hard to pass off as an accurate projection though. Over half of his 3 games have been QB'd by the third stringer who has limited attempts and his yardage is looooooow. Not a Hogan guy but that projection is not going to be close. -

BB had his team prepared as he always does, not enough mention of how flat the Texans came out. Embarrassing effort all around which was riddled with mistakes. -

Uhh they going to be throwing from here on out, talk to you in an hour. -
Hopefully the Texans set an alarm clock for 10pm? This game feels flat.

Yikes. Side note, that *** is the only thing I have seen him cover in about two years.

Favorite non-Bill NFL players to watch

Surprised no Julio fans out there! Come on gents! -
Jimmy G and his 25 minute highlight reel against the Dolphins secondary, I swear I saw Meeko Grimes out there. Why not cut to the chase and mention Brady? That's what it's all about, if you want to go the super bowl you need to be able to beat Tom Terrific...Jimmy G. and Ninko are just pieces. Nothing's wrong with Butler, he turned his ankle agains the Cardinals in week 1. Played all of week 2 and never walked with a limp. It's all about twisting things into the Patriots favor haven't you noticed?

Let's not get carried away, the Patriots are a one point under dog. This wouldn't be a big upset if the Pats win, it would just be a disappointment for Houston. If you can't win this one in NE then how could you ever win in the playoffs? A NE victory is just another one chalked up to BB and staff and Houston will be looked at as inferior once again. Houston is in their 3rd game with Brock, let's not act like it would be a surprise to see him make a mess of things.

I understand what your saying, I liked Thad Lewis he had some heart back there. I was just stating that the Dolphins were an 8-8 team in 2013 and I'm hoping the Texans are better than just average. They are coming off a playoff birth and look to have added 3 or 4 key pieces, anything less than a division title and a playoff run would probably be considered a disappointment. This is a must win game for them if they want to be taken serious, sure BB could fool everyone again and win with a third stringer but here's to hoping that does not happen!
-
I go with the bottom 3, DT was nicked up last week and plays a decent? Bengals defense. He also hasn't done much with the new QB I wouldn't trust him. Brock looks for Fuller a lot...... The other two guys need no explanation.
-
The goal is not to be the Miami Dolphins! Texans have a talented squad and this is a good early season test for them, if they can't take advantage of NE this week then I'm putting them in the pretender category. I love their skill position players, heck Jaelen Strong struggles to see the field on that team. Wish we would throw a pick at the Texans for him.
-
No excuses for them tonight, they know what to expect. Just go in there and dominate, a 3rd string QB shouldn't be able to punish your aggressiveness.
-
Fumbles are up 35% for their last 16 regular season games, let's see if any balls hit the ground tonight.

OVER THE MIDDLE. theory on where it went

Brees is small but he is a different guy inside the pocket, replay some of his games and watch him. He stands on his toes and tilts his head in a very distinct manner to improve his vision. Did a quick google and here are some Saints fans discussing this exact thing a few years back. http://saintsreport.com/forums/f2/drew-brees-question-310903/index3.html#.V-RVXFT3anM -
A little call out by the new coach! I like him already.

Mike Francesa Destroys Rex And Rob Ryan, Buffalo Bills
CommonCents replied to Mediaman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is one of the most bombastic goobas on radio but he had some points that should be underlined going forward. Owners meeting with players about performance of other players and or coaches is TERRIBLE (Even if Rex was notified). Who do you think the players are going to blame themselves or eachother? Also your empowering the peons, the peons should all be working together to make things right. They should not be voicing individual opinions to the owners of the team. See Patriots for example, and they have a few guys that have won so much and for so long that they are a cut above. The second thing that comes to mind, if the season does not turn around in miracle fashion the house cleaning should be 100%. Way to many leaks are still coming from someone at OBD and that could fracture the relationship of the new GM/Coach. None of the jobs outside of GM and coach are irreplaceable, sure Russ is good at what he does...the NFL sells itself he can be replaced. Clean the entire staff and give the GM and coach a clean slate to begin their relationship with. No more "inside" influence from the leaks and tumors which can easy ignite a rabid fan base. Lastly the Pegula's need to hire someone they trust with 100% certainty and allow him to work. Stop seeking advice from the crew on the ship and go sip champagne and watch the captain give orders. -
Some detailed breakdowns of Roman's game film showed him using multiple attempted plays to disguise bigger players later on in hopes of manipulating the defense. I'm sure lots of coordinators do that to some extent but maybe he took things to far? It's a young team with no identity, I could see how that strategy could be disheartening. I'm not going to blame Roman for everything but it's Thursday and it's time to convince myself we can win....again.
