  1. 8 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD, 2 turnovers, team is 5-2.

Have you ever considered that maybe if the rest of this year plays out similarly to how it's been playing so far that McBeane might actually identify Taylor as our Franchise QB?

The thing I've been impressed with is that Taylor hasn't been asked to carry the team or put the team on his back unless absolutely necessary, and when it is, he delivers. I can't look up Taylor's passing splits at the moment, but I'm pretty sure they would be pretty impressive in the "passing when trailing" category.

It's possible that's McDermott's ideal game plan as opposed to chucking it all over the field.

Taylor might just be an unconventional Franchise QB, but a Franchise QB nonetheless.

    Still TBD, though.

    slow down man.

  2.

Yes. I think this will be a our first blowout loss of the season, no way we are going to hang with the Raiders after what they did against a superbowl team like the Chiefs.

But I've sad all along that all playoff teams have a bad loss or two like this over the course of the season, obviously look what happened to a playoff team like the Dolphins just other night.

    Alumni Rewind: Aaron Schobel

The 2004 Buffalo Bills finished second in the league that year in total defense, first in takeaways (39), second against the pass (164 yds/gm), third in touchdowns allowed (29), sixth against the run (100.2 yds/gm) and sixth in points allowed (17.8/gm). On Football Outsiders advanced metric scale the Bills 2004 defense, which featured players like Sam Adams, Pat Williams, Aaron Schobel, London Fletcher, Takeo Spikes, Nate Clements and Lawyer Milloy, was the fourth-best defensive unit in the NFL in the last 30 years.

  4. They don't have the sacks but the turnovers are insane. I never thought I would see the Bills with a better defense then the defense from a few seasons ago under Schwartz. I'll take the turnovers over sacks any day. Good job so far.

where were you 23 years ago?

    edit: 13 years ago?

2004 they went 6 games straight with at least 3 defensive turn overs.
