  1. It was sarcasm

    oic...gotcha

He's pretty terrible. Struggles to make plays even with all eyes on McCoy and TD mike.

well, since he was given another shot, even if it was a pay cut, then we have another chance to see if he remains terrible (not that I saw him as terrible yet struggled) or turns the corner and picks up his game? I already know your stance so no need to share your prophecy (again) as it'll be a "wait and see" deal before making any final judgement on him or the team as a whole?

  2. Great question. A "Tyrod Fanboy" is a strawman created by about 5% of the posters on TBD who are irrationally anti-Tyrod. Of those irrationally anti-Tyrod posters, 95% of them are as such because they used to be irrationally pro-EJ themselves and were upset when Tyrod won the job and even stooped so low as to claim that there was a conspiracy involved (much like Trump claiming he didn't win the popular vote because of illegal votes). In any event, in the countless years, days and hours I have spent on this website, I have never encountered one poster who has tried to prop Tyrod Taylor up as more than he is: a below average to potentially average but STARTING NFL QB. You would think by seeing the term "Tyrod Fanboy" flung around so haphazardly, that there would be people on this website somewhere insisting he is already, or will be at some point in the near future, an elite NFL QB. In actuality, no such people exist. So when you see the term "Tyrod Fanboy," it is ex-EJ Fanboys (irrationally optimistic fans, mind you) bitterly lashing out at posters who acknowledge reality: that Tyrod Taylor is a below average- but worthy of starting- NFL QB, as opposed to a complete abomination.

well said. last sentence is where I stand and he is part of the team I support so call me a "fan" of the team.

  3. Wow, can you imagine if EJ does better then Tyrod, oh the embarrassment at OBD and as a Bills fan. Tyrod fanboys would be hiding under a rock for sure.

    what's a tyrod fanboy?

do you support the team? I know you don't support the organization. but if you do support the team, like I do, that includes all the players of the team. now if that's the case, what do you call fans who support the team?

as for your use of imagination, that would never happen so fortunately for you, you or the organization wont get to feel embarrassed.

  4. Plenty of good middlers here. Plenty of Tyrod apologists, plenty of Whaley haters, plenty of Brandon haters and Koolaid drinkers

Stick around and you will see whose who. All In all its very very solid.

pretty much every board or on a stool in the local tavern. we may all not have common ground on our views and outlook but at the end of the day, no matter the board or tavern, we're all die hard, dyed in the wool, red, white and blue...bills fans!

    GO BILLS!!!

  5. Church of Tyrod. A true CoT'er would place none of the blame on Tyrod and solely the defense.

You're not ready for Sainthood yet. Lol ! Our answers will be here soon enough.

yeah, I'm definitely not in the church of taylor, or any church for that matter and don't worship players. more of a team fan. that is why my hopes are that both sides of the ball improve, including taylors game as well as special teams. new coach, new season and hoping for the best. the one thing I don't have the ability to do as some in this thread have shown is state as a fact that he fails. frankly, if he does then you may as well call the season a wash. hence my stating I will just allow everything to pan out and wait patiently for the season to get here.

  6. Did you wince after the Pittsburgh and Oakland games or did you just blame the defense ?

    You seem like a CoT'er.

I was as disappointed as the next fan with those games and put blame on both sides of the ball as well as coaching. one thing is certain, you can cry B word and complain and it wont change a thing. so rather than do that I'll allow the off season/season to pan out and hope things get turned around on BOTH sides of the ball.

sorry, I'm old and ignorant to some of the slang out there, what !@#$ is a CoT'er?

  7. So in year 6 he's gonna learn how to throw a pass before the route has ended as well as simple slants over the middle ?

201 yards per game ain't gonna work

Losing to every .500 team minus the one led by Brissett also won't pay the bills.

It would be nice to see him turn it around and pair those sweet feet without the critically flawed passing game that leaves him in the Osweiler/Simien/Keenum tier.

More of the same is what I expect, but I guess you never know.

year 3 as a starter. don't know how anyone can claim his time in baltimore as on field experience?

key phrase in your last sentence.

  8. Just a guy who is tired of watching all of the sad bums that we trot out at qb. TT will fail again and it's easy to see from afar.

This streak runs all the way back to post Flutie. His 1-6 record vs .500 teams is all I need to see.

I can delete my posts if this is the only say good things about TT thread. Lmk.

no need for that, why delete the trolling posts or the repetitious "beating a dead horse" posts. no, they serve as entertainment. glad you can see from afar and base your facts on the past. I mean, being so certain he's going to fail and all.

I almost have an admiration for those who can see in to the future, almost.

  9. I hope I'm incorrect because what a sorry season it will be sitting in those stands but sadly yes that's what I'm calling before the draft.

would be useless to make any real prediction before the roster is set but you are basing it on the QB so as little to no faith, as you have made pretty clear you have in him, then I don't expect too much change in wins/losses from you.

without seeing it myself, I still see more than 6 wins. they wont be worse than last season and may surprise a lot of fans, including myself in the upcoming season. that's just me though, I don't see the doom and gloom and try to remain cautiously optimistic.

  10. solid rebuild move. lose woods, sign Brown. talent downgrade. In a pass-first league, lose a top 20 corner and sign a safety. talent/impact downgrade.

same old bills. lets go draft a bunch of rookie skill guys and start them. Pats add Cooks, Gilmore. We add Brown and Hyde.

3 years of continuing suck upcoming.

I keep hearing certain people say the end of the world is near too, I don't believe them though.

so I'll just sit back and wait for opening day and the final roster before making any judgement.

two things likely not upcoming, 3 years of continuing suck and the world coming to an end...50x50px-ZC-23d05ad2_animated-gifs-28-08.
