Speak the truth, like I said earlier it's good because it's the end of Whaley but sadly it's also the begining of the end of this new staff. 2019 cant come soon enough, going to be along 2 seasons.

We'll pass on a QB in the draft. Taylor will be the same guy next year. We'll be "in the hunt" in November and out of it by December. McDermott will want to win meaningless games, and we'll win enough to not have the ammo to draft a good QB in next years draft. The drought will definitely hit the 20 year mark, and I bet it gets to 25. This is freaking awful. Just awful.
unless you have a Crystal ball this is just all speculation as well as frustration on your part. I think he may surprise even the sternest of critics but regardless, he is the starting QB and I hope for the best this season.

Yes and for good reason. Many good members were unfairly given infractions by modes like standingbufflo. The mods ruined that message board

Replace Tyrod's salary with a rookie qb's salary. Peace out Gilmore, Graham, Zach Brown.
I think a losing season is a given with Matt Ryan, Brady 2x, Carr, Brees, Rivers, Cam, Broncos D, Luck, Jameis, @KC on the schedule.
QB at 10 WR at 44 CB/SAFETY 3rd rd. Rookie qb is all that's needed to gain my interest
roll with the rookie? I could see it but how does it do for the rookie HC? do you give him an extra 2 years to get through the growing pains and the unknown as to whether the rookie QB succeeds? and if he fails, like many before him, do you put it all on the coaching staff and keep the carousel going around? or keep McD, fire whaley and give him 3 more years starting from scratch with another rookie or fa QB?
crap shoot, when rolling with the rookie thrown to the wolfs his first year at the next level?
I agree though, the schedule is brutal and without any of those quality type of QB's on this team, it's going to be a real challenge. one thing has always been certain with the bills in the last 20 years. QB's and HC's, none of which have succeeded.

What did TT drag out? TT didn't even stand up to the team
and make any serious waves about holding out when he was playing on a baby contract. Whaley and company decided to negotiate out of good faith and now they are taking the decision up the deadline.
he and his agent? should he of held out? I just don't see him as the type to muddy the water. maybe his agent feels they can get equal money elsewhere, it's not like it's top money, more like middle of the pack.
wasn't it out there that they could restructure the deal to where he would be basically be getting the same salary minus the bonuses?
I guess that's the negotiating part but you wouldn't think a little $3 million ($3,100,000 option bonus) bonus would hold you back. somebody is dragging it out, if not whaley and McD, it must be taylors agent?

Yes same one. I didn't disappear though. Whorlnut was following me around topic to topic bashing me. I reported him like 50 times and then they banned me instead. All I kept doing was ask him to stop harassing me. I don't mind being bashed as long as I am allowed to dish it back. Unfortunately the terrible mods there played favorites and infracted certain people while the trolls roamed untouched.

One thing I won't miss about BBMB is their terrible moderation. They played favorites. People would troll free will nilly all day long and they would be allowed to. On the flipside good posters got infractions and banned for no real reason.

New Era, you're still sniffing around this thread. Here's the deal man. I made this thread to encourage a creative outlet for the worst case scenario, a lost season.
I proposed rose colored glasses and asked the question how could this team continue to be interesting if we hit this rock bottom?
I named 3 quarterbacks who never shake the limelight and could put butts in seats.

honestly, I see none of those three filling seats. if anything, it would prevent some from renewing their seasons. one head case and two failed prospects wont sell tickets imo...

I would have to bet McD wouldn't be for it as a start to his career as a HC? I would rather they add to the roster through draft and fa and show some signs of contention. seen enough losing seasons as it is and doing it intentionally to save on cap space and acquire draft picks just doesn't seem to be as rewarding as the OP would like to believe?
not trying to be negative about a negative situation, I can see where you were going with it and with good intent, just don't see it happening with this team?

never was a fan of tanking, never. can't see how players could be either. just seems to be some fans that think it'll get you a certain player that wouldn't be no guarantee to succeed anyway?

Most people want to see the time people post in their local time zone. So, if I live in Buffalo and I start a thread at noon, someone who lives in San Diego would want to see that time listed as 9:00am. The software stores the time any post is made in UTC format and then based upon an individual's setting - it corrects for local time.

to correct for it. Most people just ask how to fix the incorrect time when they don't know how to make it right. Others just assume the rest of the world is incompetent and are too eager to let you know that. I'll gladly help the former, but life is too short for the latter.

- that's a huge red flag. No one has the time to deal with that. If your timestamp is off, most people ask, "How can I fix my timestamp", not get your **** together and then call people internet tough guys when they wonder what the heck they are talking about. There was no sign of patience or grace while we try and sort everything out. I wish him the best, but he wasn't helping the current situation (unlike the vast majority of newcomers who have been really awesome so far).I'm going to seem ignorant here and being halfway through 5 decades in this world some internet slang kind of goes over my head. but what was the deal with "timestamp"?
I actually googled it and still could not understand the reason for getting in to a fight about it.

hopefully ragland will turn some heads. I agree with your point but there have been some good players that have come out of alabama. based on your handle, you're aware of that.

This is what these BBMB kids did, they made a thousand threads thinking they all had something original. This site is screwed TBH if you want these new folks to follow the rules.
I don't want to step on anyone's toes, I try to be respectful so forgive me if I seem to be stepping on yours. relax man, I know this wave of refugees has kind of had a shock feel to it with all the new faces coming on board.
but as you may find out, a good majority are good people who can add and share their perspectives/views/opinions to the discussion that have the same passion as those here for the buffalo bills.
this is your home and we would like to thank you for having us and it should be clear, very clear to all those who have made there way here to be respectful and abide by the format that has made this a great home for you and your fellow members. change can be good, in time.
I can only imagine how it has made some feel here but rest assure I don't believe it will be as bad as you may foresee it once the dust settles. I'm sure those who don't take the advice from the long standing members will be shown the door.
even without the recent rush you likely still would have a straggler now and then to deal with, hopefully the number will be low of said stragglers. I apologize in advance if I stepped out of line with this post and hope those who have come recently can and will hold the same respect I do, which I'm sure many will.
