hey DBFS'73
i really mean no harm. just like to take a victory lap here.
me and the many who had to endue all the insults and belittling because we questioned what Tyrod could do wasn't right. not saying you were one of those as you weren't. however i think we should be allowed a little time to lap it up and say, 'yeah, we told you so'. it won't be for long mind you, but it is well deserved i think.
again, it is nothing personal towards anyone here, nor towards Tyrod. i love my Buffalo Bills and want what is best for them and the switch to Peterman is best. Peterman might not be the answer but at least we will find out before next years draft.
I agree with you on the insults, which were slung around here like dung from both sides so it is warranted but I've always been one that two wrongs never make a right.
go ahead and take your lap

I have to hand it to you Foxx my boy, you called it and know better than myself or others who may not of been agreement. however, stay classy man, laughing in the face of those who did not have the same vision is, well, not cool.
for the record, I am pleased with this move and hopefully it gives the team and offense the spark it needs to achieve the ultimate goal, the post season.

Pretty much tells you they realize the team is heading down the tubes this season and might as well evaluate Peterman.
or it could rejuvenate it?
I gained more hope with the decision, I was beyond tired of seeing taylor under center. whether it backfires or turns the offense around remains to be seen.

what was the question again?

this is AWESOME news!!!
McD you may be able to pull me back in with this very smart decision on your part.

Probably not fast enough for some of you so called fans. What a pathetic bunch of people.
ned my boy, you haven't been paying attention. you seem sensitive to those FANS who don't have blinders on. you really should worry less about others thoughts and just hope the bills finish with enough wins to make the post season, starting with this week. because if they fail to do so and don't make the post season you're going to look like the fool you are for calling those FANS pathetic.
hang in there ned boy, we should have a better idea after the game sunday.
oh, and ned boy, you have a nice day.

SMH. This is getting embarrassing.
this so called stat means nothing at this point. anybody see the last two games? 8 in the box, 8 in the box, sack. 8 in the box, check down. but hey, he doesn't throw interceptions.

I'm of a big fan of the back straps or tenderloin filets with some butter, garlic powder and pepper.
back straps for sure. slow cook in a crock pot was my favorite way to have it. love me some venison, been a while.

You're probably right. Believe me, another effort like the last two this Sunday, I quit.
I wont ever quit. my enthusiasm will be tempered. optimism will remain faded. the thing is, especially for we long time fans, we've seen this show. it's like a wore out rerun. I wont lie, McD & Co fooled me, drew me in to start believing. should of known, just a fresh face with a fresh take (trust the process) on what they're going to do with this bills team. I bought it until the jets game but even as bad as it was, I'm thinking fluke, they'll surely bounce back at home and end the saints winning streak. false hopes I'll tell ya.
Certainly a win could keep a slight bit of hope but 7 short days later, kc in their house. never been too many good results going in there. then a home game against the pats**. hell, I can already feel that sick feeling of being beat down by brady (26-3) and McD getting schooled by the master.
season isn't over, it may be for the bills as far as post season depending on the next three weeks. if they're 5-7 Dec 3rd, no way they win four straight. seen it before with these rebuilds, not the talent to hang with the big dogs and hope they can hit in the draft. then, three years, rinse repeat. I know well enough I need to see what they do this off season but what a hell of a way for a rookie HC/GM to get spanked in the early going in their tenure. 6 rushing tds last game. 500 yrds rushed against them in the last two games. motivating?
how many times do you hear must win. this game Sunday is a must win!

Not sure how many Bills "fans" were at last game but television images show Bills "fans" celebrating with Jest RB and doing their imitation of Eagles "boo birds". Maybe less fans is better?
Maybe, I doubt it though. it's going to take getting your **** together. something McD and the team as a whole have failed to do the last two games.
Sunday will define this team going forward. lose, that'll be three straight and should silence any talk of the post season.

Yes because McD isnt trying to prepare this team.....

how prepared were they for the jets and saints.

He couldn’t stay on the roster because he doesn’t play special teams according to McD. Meanwhile, can anyone tell me a single time they’ve noticed Tolbert doing anything on special teams?
or anything special for that matter...

I can't see this team losing to Clemons in a stadium that will have more Bills fans then Chargers fans. We'll see.
how many fans were at the last game. fans wont make any difference. teams have figured out how to shut taylor down and Lynn knows him well. game plan should be for them to shut down taylor and run the ball against a bills defense that can't stop a nose bleed. sorry man, I see little chance they win this one or the next two for that matter.
-
I also believe Lynn and his team will be highly motivated for this game and they have to know how to shut the bills offense down especially with film from the last two games.
this game could, well, likely will be as ugly as the past two as they continue the slide to three straight losses.
they also likely lose the next two against kc and the dreaded game at home against the patsies**.
5-7 could be a reality December 3rd at 4:00.
jets/saints games have drained any optimism I had for this team.

As much as I'd like to tear it up and start on 2018, they aren't going to dump Tyrod and a chance at a playoff run (even if it is pathetic) until it is proven over.
And anyone collecting a paycheck from the Bills knows just as much as the fans how dire this is looking.
a must win sunday or they're toast.

I can see them walking into LA and beating them in an upset. Every team has a bad game like Sunday. We did last Monday night. You guys are still in the playoff race and have as good of a shot as any in the AFC. Keep your chins up.
it would be an upset to beat a 3-6 chargers team that may be without their starting QB?
well, you are talking about the bills so you may be on to something.
no, my thought was last week they would bounce back, and did not. rather than a bounce back game I'm leaning more toward a 3rd straight loss...

-
I don't know, sustained drives and controlling the clock could help the defense some and I'm thinking it keeps the opponents offense off the field as well, no?

the 7 year itch.
this does ease my mind some knowing they wont be going this season.

I can't decide if this is a humor piece or a depressing prediction of life as a Bills fan through 2025.
I sensed some sarcasm in there as well. the 7 year rebuild plan. chances are I wont see those fireworks.

They are the sixth seed right now. They are capable of beating this Chargers team Miami and the Colts at home.
capable maybe, but can they?
throw the 3-6 record out, I believe Lynn will have his team motivated. something McD hasn't been doing a lot of here the last two weeks with having his ass handed to him. growing pains, yeah okay coach, lets hope so. I know it was some kind of pain watching that mess the last two games.
sorry, the last two games have really soured me.
not looking like 10-6 is now in the realm of possibility. they can only lose two more. I shake my head knowing they'll lose more than two in this 7 game stretch.
it's a real B word and getting way beyond old to be saying "there's always next year" in the second week of november. see what losing like that will do to some, even those who try to have at least the slightest bit of optimism.
not give up yet. don't win sunday, forget about it.
