Except thats how they've been for the last yeae and a half and have the 3rd best record in the NFL over that time span...quite a long mirage dont you think?
so you're saying they're going to turn it around. maybe?
-
Kelly and McDaniels are the two that come to mind and both flashed for a minute before falling apart. Hopefully thats not the case here
Kelly was 10-6 the first year too before feeling the repercussions of the moves.
Its a fair parallel to point out to watch out for. Could go either way though.
that's my perspective, could go either way.
-
don't see the kelly comparison here? so far, they're doing it their way and sitting at 4-2. the remnants from the past regime that have been removed so far have not hurt them in the w/l column. april is a long way off and 10 games to go. this season so far has been sort of a locker room cleaning yet still contending. any judgement likely wouldn't be sound until like the 2019 season where they should have their roster pretty much set?
-
Yeah they should. Btw Buffalo has the least amount of 3 and outs per drive in the league thus far.

You should really do some research before trying to make a smart comment.
trolls do research?

not for nothing but.... he does have 17 years of recent history on his side.
ahh yes, the dreaded "17 years" guise. you know, it doesn't phase me anymore really. hell, it may of been at the 15 year mark where I just didn't give a real **** anymore. it''ll break when it's broke, maybe this season?
you never know

But if what you say, that they got what they could get, isnt as good as Dareus, why make the trade?
They are going to eat a ton of dead cap and only save $7m over 2 years, surely just paying him and then dropping him is better than the 6th round pick.
they had to get something, they were not going to cut him. they had to unload him somewhere and seems the jags were willing to take on the risk financially ask well as the risk he may not live up to expectations and offered a 6th round pick for him. beane has been stock piling those picks, maybe he can find a gem or two this next draft? you had a kid who's potential was off the charts but has been in decline and with the past off field issues, he was already a big scratch with the new regime. he was a goner from the get go they just couldn't find a team that wanted him. he was a whaley player and they have been almost methodically removing said remnants and will build their team with only players that buy in to the process. which, frankly, I'm beginning to buy in to as well. this trade comes as no shock and I understand they're doing what they feel is best for the team going forward.
-
Lets ask this question, will a 6th rd pick DT play as well as Dareus? Will any 6th rd player be as good as Dareus?
those that despised him and his money, he's gone, who cares what they got.
to answer your question in terms of the trade, hell no from a talent perspective. you could obviously see he wasn't buying in and they got what they could based not on his talent, but unfortunate reputation. the kid was a beast when on all cylinders.
later big stuff

Stats can be misleading. I'm no QB guru but what I see is a QB who has little anticipation, can't throw receivers open, is consistently innaccurate, and holds the ball way too long. He throws late or behind wide open receivers and his ball placement usually sucks. He obviously can make plays with his feet, is great on the broken play, is well respected and a leader of this team. His lack of turnovers is impressive. He's the best we have right now and McD will ride him until we are eliminated from the playoff hunt. He's reached his ceiling, we know exactly what we are getting with him so keep him around until we drop out of the hunt, then put in Peterman to see what we have and get ready to draft a QB high using our collective picks.
you say this with such certainty. just a guise opinion
-
that is changing the conversation, everyone know there is a shortage of good qbs in the nfl. If he goes out and wins 11 games this year then I was wrong. I hope it happens .
is 11 the magic number?
what if they win 10 and make the post season?

That's a bull **** example as the stated purpose behind the knee taking was "systemic racial inequality" which is nothing more than calling everyone who disagrees with them racists.
When that's what you lead with, you're a piece of garbage.
you really dig these type of topics/threads don't you. kind of makes you feel right at (PPP) home.
-
Why is it sad though? How does it effect you?
Am I the only one that just doesn't care about this stuff? I keep seeing these threads get started on a weekly basis and 75% of you guys just talk in circles. I don't watch or follow football for it's politics. I also don't care if the players kneel. I don't care if there are flyovers. I watch football to be entertained by the sport, not by it's fans and their political persuasions. It's not like I don't have my own ideologies, but lately I have tried as hard as I can to separate them entirely from watching football.
I agree with this 100%
-
this thread seems to be going well.
seems we now live in a "you hurt my little feelings" society.
softies when it comes to the kneeling, softies when it comes to an owner calling players inmates.
as for them walking out, go for it. let the drama continue.

I didn't mean it to come off the wrong way, just saying I'm usually right with the Bills and other NFL matters.
Not just because I used to work in the scouting world either, just have been an astute observer particularly of this franchise being a long time Bills fan. And sadly the realist in me usual prevails over the homer in regardles to the Bills.
you're the type that stands in front of the mirror smiling at yourself for like hours. you're so full of yourself man that it's comical really...
as far as the scouting world you claim to have worked in, you know that little make believe universe you come from, I've got some ocean front property in arizona for sale if you're interested.
10 Types of Internet Trolls You'll Meet Online05 of 10The show-off, know-it-all or blabbermouth troll (SaviorPeterman)A close relative to the persistent debate troll, the show-off or blabbermouth troll is a person who doesn't necessarily like to participate in arguments but does love to share his opinion in extreme detail, even spreading rumors and secrets in some cases. Think of that one family member or friend you know who just loves to hear his own voice. That's the Internet equivalent of the show-off or know-it-all or blabbermouth troll. They love to have long discussions and write lots of paragraphs about whatever they know, whether anyone reads it or not.

Extremely L.A.R.G.E indeed!
in your pea brain I'm sure it is.

I was certainly wrong about the game last night and didn't see it coming but still think the Dolphins are a very good team and possibly 2nd best in the division behind the Pats.
But losing such an ugly game is sometimes tough to recover from and don't get any easier for the Fish with the same Raiders team we are playing this week heading down there next.
are your eyes brown?
nevertheless, you're full of ****!

26Corner is a blessing for us people who do not have time to search all things Bills related. Any criticism to him is freaking ridiculous.....
oh baumy, I was just yanking his chains.
lighten up francis.

The Ravens DIDN"T kneel/protest for the Anthem, and the Dolfelons did! Just shows who had their mind in/on the game, and who didn't.
that's got to be it, I mean
-
No. I could have easily start a thread for each thing I post, but why create clutter for related subjects.
no, you don't have to. you have your space up above in the pinned section. meanwhile, down below needs to be available for the saviorpeterman trolling threads and whatever other clutter pops up, lol
just pulling your chains master patriarch.

"How does 54 touchdowns to 14 interceptions sound? Because that's Taylor's record as Bills quarterback -- 44 TD passes, 10 rushing touchdowns, 14 picks. Taylor has rushed for 1,322 yards for an average of 5.6 yards per turn."
It's crazy how you are on top of everything posted on the Bills.
well, he is the board patriarch and can not stand someone taking any credit or posting anything bills related. it's like stepping on his toes I suppose.
so you need to stay out of his sandbox, lol

Bills' Sean McDermott on Anquan Boldin: 'My focus is on the 63 guys that I coach'
exactly. !@#$ boldin if he thinks he's too good for the team. be on your merry way you washed up pos.

First Gag on the KK. I'm a Dunkin guy.
If NE loses and Buff wins, I do believe we'd be in first place.
choices are a good thing.
I've said all along that Matt Moore is a better option and Cutlers injury is likely going to be a blessing in disguise for a dolphins team already with a head of steam riding a 3 game winning streak.
This Dolphins team reminds me a lot of the 1998 Jets, started 0-2 and finished the season 12-4 en route to an AFC Championship game loss to the eventual world champion Broncos.
Gase is a lot like Bill Parcells too with this coaching style and has created a very gritty team down in Miami.
so much wrong about this post.

not dirty, just an unfortunate turn of events.
When you slide late you take the risk of getting hit.
thing is he anticipated him sliding so he should of let up some.
so if ne loses and bills win. bills will be atop the afce?
that should be worth a box of hot fresh glazed doughnuts from krispy kreme?
Dareus traded to Jacksonville!

who are these "as most expect"
this is just two sites who must not fit your most expect group.

I'll throw in yardbarker for the hell of it.
The Raiders may have saved their season with a thrilling win over Kansas City, one that cannot even be termed "last-second," because the winning play happened on an untimed down. With Denver suddenly looking vulnerable and most of the rest of the AFC unspectacular if not outright flawed, 3-4 is not a death sentence for playoff hopes. That said, if Buffalo can continue its run of successfully playing takeaway on defense, the Bills can kill two birds with one stone –strengthen their playoff hopes, while denting Oakland's wild-card chances. Tyrod Taylor has been steady, and while Buffalo's turnover margin may not be sustainable, it's getting harder to bet against a team whose confidence seems to be building steadily week after week.
Pick: Bills
