This is the sound The here and the now You got to talk the talk, the talk, the talk To get it all out
I listen I listen I listen
But you're out of tune You're so out of tune
This is the last song (This is the last song) This is the last song That I will dedicate to you
What would you do if I sang you this song The connection is bad but that's only the phone 'Cause when my words kiss your ear I'll be right there The message is long 'Cause baby this is your song
I'll bet that You don't know anybody that could be so bad But if you did you'd be wonderin' where I'm at Well I'll be home when tomorrow morning comes
I paint a picture of the days gone by When love went blind and you would make me see I'd stare a lifetime into your eyes So that I knew that you were there for me Time after time you there for me
Remember yesterday, walking hand in hand Love letters in the sand, I remember you Through the sleepless nights through every endless day I'd want to hear you say, I remember you
She was standing alone over by the jukebox Like she's something to sell I said, baby what's the going price? She told me to go to hell
Shot down in flames Shot down in flames Ain't it a shame To be shot down in flames
Lunatic Fringe
I know you're out there
You're in hiding
And you hold your meetings
I can hear you coming
And I know what you're after
We're wise to you this time
Let you kill the laughter
Do you believe in magic, in a young girl's heart? How the music can free her, whenever it startsAnd it's magic, if the music is groovyIt makes you feel happy like an old-time movieI'll tell you about the magic and it'll free your soulBut it's like tryin' to tell a stranger 'bout rock and roll
Yup. We're flying from NY to Phoenix on Thursday. Except of course we aren't. Playing chicken with the airline hoping they'll cancel flight and we'll get a refund instead of having to book another flight by mm/dd/yyyy.
I know two people who more likely than not had it. Neither were counted in the totals as they didn't see a doctor. One was initially diagnosed over the phone as the flu. Lost all sense of smell, including bleach!
We were supposed to leave for a Grand Canyon/Monument Valley (and points in between) trip on Thursday. Booked the GC hotel a year ago.
Day to day it's not running to the store for that one thing we're missing. Like limes for the Margarita's or something different for dinner. And we haven't had take-out for three weeks.
By some accounts Covid is about to over-run my area in the next two weeks. Wifey and I were just talking about stocking up and freezing milk. Nice tip on expansion.
