I think I'll pay attention to my kids.
I've done that before, it's amazingly fun.

And don’t waste time with a traditional cover letter.
I wish all employers were like that.

Ugh. CSS is like a root canal to me. I can do it when desperate--but would much rather do something else.
That's why I buy web themes. Some brilliant dudes in India write them--and you can buy the equivalent of hundreds of hours of labor and tested code for $40.

Off topic to OP: nice use of tags.
The optimal use of tags seems to escape many posters.

Why should he give anything back? Double dipping? What are you talking about? That would be him getting cut, them signing with another team, failing a physical and being paid by both.
The guy was hurt fulfilling his contract for a business worth billions. He shouldn't give a !@#$ing penny back.
The multimillionaire "was hurt" but you make him sound like a laborer at Galleria Mall. His signing bonus is more than you'll make in your lifetime. Remind me not to hire a callous mercenary such as yourself.

Again, find owners saying negative things about other owners and I’ll be impressed. I didn’t say anything negative about her. In fact, I said the fact that she’s a “real person” is a blessing in that room. She can provide a perspective that Bob McNair can’t. The point was that it means absolutely nothing that, when asked on the record, her business partners said positive things about her. It would have been a story if they didn’t. Every single time owners are asked about other owners on the record they give the same lip service. It’s not just her, the same things are being said now about Gayle Benson and the new guy in Carolina.
I apologize for calling you cynical. It was the beer talking..

Really? That’s what you are taking from this conversation? Are you impressed that her business partners said nice things about her? Don’t you think that’s expected? I keep asking people to find owners talking negative about other owners. I can find 20,000 quotes of them talking nice about each other but may not find one of them badmouthing each other. My whole point is that owners saying nice things means nothing because that’s all that they say about each other.
Did it ever occur to you that when someone says something nice about Kim Pegs, they may actually mean it.
Is it hard going through life so cynical?

Maybe we can have nice things.

Lolz. Close the thread now, it can't get any better.
Richie has had a tough 2018. This latest kerfuffle will hurt his FA winnings.

There are 32 teams. Prolly five of those teams have an offensive line worse than Buffalo's. Richie will sign with someone. Amusingly, it will be around the same $ Bflo agreed to.
So by being a prickhead, Richie gets to undo a contract he signed, and then gets to choose his destiny.
Weak signal for roster discipline from the Bills FO. "Play enough games, we'll let you go."

It's the first quarterly loss in 10 years. While that's not bad by average business standards, it is bad for a Warren Buffett owned business.
My guess: If they don't turn it around soon, it will be digital only everyday except Sunday.

Wow. If you're an older Bills fan, you view signing the first rounder so quickly with amazement.
In the old days, #1 draft picks were a hard chase for Ralph to sign. They'd bicker for more money, they'd flee to the CFL or USFL (Jim Kelly). Negotiations would drag into the summer. Some players were real pricks.
I like the new unwritten rules: draft picks sign in inverse order of their selection, making X percent more than the person selected after them.

BN is owned by Warren Buffett.
Warren Buffett companies make one thing -- piles of cash.
He just cracked open his coin purse and bought 75 million more shares of Apple.
Don't expect BN subscriptions to go away. Expect more of them.

I'm not aware of anything other than an inappropriate work relationship. Though, some posters suggested he was the leak of Owners Meeting audio--that would be pretty heinous.
As someone who once worked in personnel I can say: you can sometimes survive an inappropriate workplace relationship. But aggravating factors counted against RB:
- he is married
- the relationship was apparently general knowledge within the organization, apparently exposed at the Sabres Winter Classic
- he apparently lied to Kim's face when confronted (I read that somewhere)
Also, if he spent Bills money (travel, expense accounts, etc.) to further the affair---he's a deadman walking.
You gotta think with your big head, not your little head.
I feel bad for the Brandon family. Statistics are not good for a marriage to survive an affair.

CBS Sports listed seven top rookie matchups two watch in 2018. The December Jets game was listed as Number 1.
Sam Darnold vs. Josh Allen: Ranking the best rookie matchups on the NFL schedule
An ESPN columnist is quoted via Twitter:
Quotemy favorite defense of josh allen is that buffalo is the planet hoth
Lolz. I can live with the Hoth label. It's not accurate, but it does psych out opposing teams.
The game is touted as a sneak peak at a long running AFC East QB rivalry.

Oy. I hope you are not dealing with a narcissist.
Narcissist's deal very poorly with criticism and it is very difficult to get things back to normal, often impossible.
A narcissist rage (their response to criticism) can be like a double barrel shotgun to the face. Pretty severe.
I know narcissist issues well because I once had to deal with a doozy.
I'd Google narcissist and see if that's what you're dealing with. They aren't normal people. Good luck.

Rex hired Jets.
McBeane hires Panthers.
I can live with the latter. At least the Panthers made it to the Super Bowl.

Is she qualified? Get over yourself. She owns half the team. That's all the qualification you need.
Is there some college major that prepares you to own a major sports team?
She's ultimately qualified on her own merits. Go away you chauvinist pig.

I'm sure there are many people who arent surprised by this. I feel sorry for his family. Don't think Training Camp at Fisher will extend past the current deal 2021?
Fisher was/is successful for the Bills.
I don't see that changing because an alumnus was fired.
1 minute ago, Nihilarian said:I'm kind of hoping that a new marketing person might bring some new advertisers to the camp as the last few years it's gotten worse and worse.
You mean better than the watch company that won't pay it's bills from the Bills?

The interesting thing here: "when confronted by Kim Pegula" RB lied.
I like it that Terry Pegula uses a hatchet-man, or cleaner so to speak. He keeps his hands clean.
It's even cooler that his successful hatchet-man is his wife. I hope she stays as President.

Tisk, tisk, tisk, Russ.
My grandfather, a successful business man, had few rules to his success. But his favorite rule to quote: Don't get your meat where you get your potatoes.
If you knew grandpa, you wouldn't be unemployed today.

Remember.. Vegas lines are not expert predictors. The line is designed to get equal number of bettors on each side, so the bookie makes money off transaction cost.
As such, a Vegas line reflects the popular opinion of NFL fans nationwide, not necessarily careful analysis by experts.
That's why during the season, how a team does "against the spread" is critical metric. As an unpopular team, the Bills typically do well against the spread.

4 Teams that won't make the Playoffs again in 2018 (Bills #4)

I predict an 8-8 season with no playoffs.
QB and WR's are going to be awful. Offsetting that, I think the D is going to be exemplary.
