Brady will probably quit halfway through the season.
He'll quit at half time.

It's sad when someone can't enjoy the schadenfreude so deliciously plated for them.

Uh.. they have this thing called a Quarterbacks Coach.
QuoteNow in his 25th year as an NFL assistant coach, David Culley joined the Buffalo Bills in 2017 as the team’s quarterbacks coach. Culley has had successful tenures as an assistant with the Steelers (1996-98), Eagles (1999-2012), and Chiefs (2013-16). In fact, his teams have earned playoff berths in 15 of his 24 NFL seasons, including his first year with the Bills in 2017.
A veteran mentor in the "QB room" is fine and dandy, but it's hardly a prerequisite for success.

I don't mind the losing. I DO mind the blowouts.
Vikings spread is 16 points. I've never seen anything like it.

Still concerned. Next level down from fractured ribs is bruised ribs.
He surely has bruised ribs--and that hurts almost as much as fractured ribs, and limits your mobility.

Yes. And I would never criticize a player for doing what is best for himself.
Wrong.
The dude is a PROFESSIONAL athlete. You don't quit mid-game, mid-season. Not if you're a professional.

Im sorry but Josh Allen doesn't look good, we already know our receivers don't look good, this team flat out lacks talent. Meanwhile.....Pat Mahomes is looking legitament. I hope this organization knows something we don't.
WTF with the Mahomes comparison?

Who is the colour guy denigrating every play Allen makes...... Allen is not perfect but even complaining on receptions???? Sheez...
If you're local: Turn the volume down on the TV and listen to radio WGR 550 AM

I thought Allen has looked okay for his first start....
Agree.. he has missed a few, but still pretty good.
My ire is aimed at
- Daboll's play calling
- the D
- and the horrible announcers.. I switched to GR 55

Let's put Peterman in!
That will fix our defense?

Go Pro-ing a tailgate... heck, that could make a good reality show.

Allen is doing pretty well when you consider the **** show surrounding him.
He's franchise.

One of the Tight Ends.

Side note: your style of post titling is frowned upon.
UPDATE EDIT: Good job with the new thread title. And the way things are going.. we may find out.

Yeah, why would we ever need McCarron when we got these 2 studs here locking down the fort?
I get the gist and agree somewhat with OP.
I do have to point out a weakness in argument: McCarron is just slightly more experienced than JA and NP. McCarron is hardly a well-seasoned grizzled old vet. And McCarron's training camp performance was meh. Using the McCarron trade to critique McD's QB development skills is not compelling argument.
The more important question to me: How is Daboll at developing QB's? I'm not getting a warm fuzzy there.

You spoketh mean of K-Pegs. That will get you fired from the Buffalo News.

I'd rate Kelly, Montana and Marino highly for the fact their accomplishments occurred when there were fewer protections of the QB. They were man handled pretty good.

Agree with OP entire post.. McDermott and Beane are safe this season.
They are safe next season also if they resemble anything near 8-8.

It was only a matter of time. The stadium is in an awkward location.. far from many fans ** and difficult to get to as a Metro rider.
** I don't know about most most people, but when I lived in DC trips between MD and VA were equivalent to trips between Buffalo and Ontario--to be avoided.
PS: MD drivers are nuts

Judging by McD's presser appearance, I'd say Allen starting was a T Pegula decision. Which I'm OK with if true.
-
I wonder who made the decision to start Allen... McDermott, or an order from atop, T-Pegs
-
It's all about priorities..
I agree with OP that WR will be the hardest to fix.
However, I fell the most important position to fix is the OL. In a way, by fixing the OL.. many of your QB and WR problems fix themselves.

It’s eye opening to discover exactly how important the big guys along the inside of your OL are when you don’t have any good ones isn’t it?
Agree! Yet they cut deBeer today.
Granted deBeer was a project, but he was a project at a highly sought position. deBeer's agent tweeted that there is allot of interest in OL developmental prospects and that deBeer will land on his feet.
lolz.. he'll be the next Jason Peters.
