Beane has been here the last three seasons. His familiarity with him is the same as pretty much every player in the league on other teams
Coach Washington will be pretty familiar with him. Not the same thing. But Beane will probably ask for his input.

Why?? After what he did to White. I don’t want him anywhere near Buffalo
I don't need boy scouts on this team. But what he did was something else. The only way I want to see Gronk on the Bills sideline, is if Hyde put him there with a vicious sideline hit.

Just say no to Aldon Smith. He can’t stay away from drugs.Ridiculous waste of talent. The guy was on his way to being a real star.

At least they didn't sign his brother Jason. That guy is dangerous.

If Beane were really smart, he'd move his office to Guam and get a whole 20 hour lead on the west coast teams.

As a backup role playing edge Addison is just fine......so he should take a pay cut
What can he reasonably expect in the current market? Beane holds all the cards here. Take the cut, Mario and still make more than you would as a free agent.

*tears up mock draft again*
Same. I was even preparing myself for the team to take a small step back next season to re-tool for a long SB run. Nope. Beane is going for the jugular.

Addison could have a bounce back year. He was up around 10 sacks for 4 years in a row before coming to Buffalo and having 5. Maybe the coaches believe he can get back to that.
There were a lot of moving parts and new faces on the dline. Maybe with another year in the system and with Star coming back guys like Addison will improve.
Anyways, that's the hope. I'm hopeful that Epenesa makes some strides as well and becomes a bigger contributor.
He's a power guy who relies on strength and technique to rush. Power guys don't usually fall off like the speed rushers do.
You might be right about Addison.

I'm happy to admit that I was wrong. I thought we'd lose Milano to keep Williams. The draft can go in so many directions now.

"[W]here he became a star" is where he had one of the all-time best OL coaches in Scarnecchia, and a QB who consistently gets the ball out in 2 seconds.
Neither of the two is on the team anymore.

Like most on here, I'm tired of the Bills dipping into the Panther's well...
...but Palardy was a really good punter. I wouldn't be upset if they also took a look at Kawann Short.
We don't want Beane liking someone just because he was a Panther. But we also can't hate someone just because he was a Panther.

Yea. If any DE should be cut it's Addidon.... but he played for Carolina so....
I understand your point. Addison definitely didn't live up to his contract. But his contract isn't friendly to just being cut. Sure, you'll save a couple million. But will you be able to sign a better replacement for less than what you save by cutting him? Probably not.
I think we're stuck with hoping this was just a down year for Addison. I'd be shocked if he were cut.

I don't know how much pull the Pats have anymore....think about it....Brady gone and happier....Gronk gone and happier.....Van Noy (who I would like to get in FA if we can't get Milano)I would be surprised if he goes back to NE....because he is a good fit there and if he doesn't go back that should say something about the moral within the Pat's organization. Nobody ever looked like they were having fun over there even when they were winning. And I don't recall any ex-pats returning after they left....
I hear you. I'm just saying that I'd rather him not be in our division. Whether it's the Pats, Fins, or Jets. I think he's a good QB. While QBs aren't fully responsible for wins, good QBs always increase your team's chance to win.

You don't have to be the best QB in the league to get the top contract. You just have to be the best one currently looking for an extension. Both Carr and Goff were the highest paid QB in the NFL at one point.

Dak isn't as good as Mahomes... But he's good enough that I wouldn't want to see the Pats sign him.

McDermott has shown a willingness to change. To adapt. It cannot be overstated how important this is to long term success. For this reason, I am hopeful that he goes away from the savvy, non-athletic vet to play CB2 in a zone scheme. We need a young athletic CB2 across from T. White. We need scheme versatility. Sherman will not give us that. Just like Norman couldn't do it this year.
While I like Dane and Levi, neither one is athletic enough for this either.

If Mike Hilton is only going to cost 4M per, I want the Bills to pursue.

I love Feliciano's attitude. But I don't love his play.
We can save a lot of money by restructuring Morse. D. Williams should be the priority free agent to retain for the Bills. Then we will probably draft a guard in the high / mid rounds of the draft. If they can sign a good free agent to act as a bridge or competition for Ford and Boettger, that would be great.
I really think we're realistically looking at Dawkins / FA / Morse / Ford / Williams as the starting line next year. With Bates, Boettger, another FA, and rookie as backups.

Drafting a running back in the 1st round when run blocking is bad = drafting Sammy Watkins when your quarterback is EJ Manual.

On this Bills team, I don't think you keep Morse AND Feliciano. You sit down with Morse and have a serious conversation about his thoughts on concussions and playing another season. Don't even talk to Feliciano about numbers until you sit down with Morse.
On a separate note, there is no way I'm paying Feliciano 8M per year average. I love his attitude, not his play.

Beane was pretty open during his press conference. It points to the direction the Bills are heading in this offseason.
Milano, Brown, and Feliciano will not be back.
They will try hard to sign Williams.
Beane will be looking hard for a new athletic TE.
No major RB acquisitions.
As a replacement for Milano, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah would look good in a Bills uniform. Maybe Zaven Collins. Both are playmakers on defense.

In Madden, a long time ago, I would line up in onside kick Right. Then short kick it to the left side. My guy would get it most of the time. The Bills should just do that.

Bills sign Mitch Trubisky, QB.

Agreed. And he's better than Barkley as well.
