I would’ve sent the coach on an all expenses paid hunting trip with Dick Cheney after that FG.

This was not discussed enough in sports media. Absolutely one of the worst calls I've ever seen in a game. That's not hyperbole. It was wrong on so many different levels. Those 3 points did nothing to help you win the game. They still needed a touchdown to win after that fieldgoal.

I trust them, but they are not beyond criticism.  They have made some highly questionable picks in the first two days of the draft, but those have been overshadowed by the home run they hit with the 7th overall pick a couple years ago.  Until this team wins a Super Bowl or two, there will be plenty of room for criticism...

This is the correct answer. You win TBD for the day.

  3. Some have mentioned this, and it's been controversial, but I think there is something to be said about Josh letting his emotions get to him a bit. This would explain his inconsistency in college and during his first 2 seasons in the NFL.

When he feels like he has to do it all (Hero Ball), he get a little over-hyped and starts missing throws. So he's never been "inaccurate" per se.

I'm not saying that this explains everything, but the environment in 2020 was different, and I think it played at least a small part in his growth. I mean his improvement from year 2 to year 3 is something that the NFL hasn't seen before. "You can't coach accuracy" has been an old NFL adage.

Having playmakers certainly helped his cause. So has his work ethic, intelligence, and coachability. All of these things, I think, were factors in his ridiculous improvement.

Maybe they are going OL @ #6? I'd personally be happy if they passed on any receiving talent like Pitts, Chase, Waddle, or Smith.

I don't want them drafting Sewell. The guy looks amazing and he's only 20 years old. I'm hoping they pull another Dion Jordan and take Jason Oweh at 6.

  5. Guy casually walking through his house. Speaks to someone off camera:

Guy: Hey Josh, can you toss me the keys.

Cut to Josh Allen sitting at the table eating cereal.

Josh: Sure. (grabs keys and casually tosses them underhand to Guy).

Guy catches the keys and the momentum knocks him through the wall. Cut to Josh pushing Guy on a wheelchair through a hardware store.

Josh: Lowes, for your home improvement... and repair needs.

End scene. Cut, print, check the gate.

    Here's mine with no trades:

    #30 Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia

    #61 Landon Dickerson, C, Alabama

#93 Alim McNeil, DT, NC State

    #161 Anthony Schwartz, WR, Auburn

#174 Shaka Toney, EDGE, Penn State

    #213 Deonte Brown, G, Alabama

#236 Anthony Hines III, LB, Texas A&M

I think we could get Campbell in a bit of a trade down. But I'd be happy with this draft as is.

  7. The thead title starts, "If a teams roster is solidified..."

I don't think this roster is completely solidified. We have holes, and we need depth at a lot of positions. I can easily see us drafting 2021 starters at CB2, Nickel, and Guard. We also need depth at Safety, WR, and DT.

I'm liking this roster, but we can definitely upgrade at several spots. I don't want to trade up. If anything, I'm a trade down guy.

We don't have enough open roster spots to fill if we stand pat and draft where we stand.  Trading back and accumulating more picks just so we can cut these guys later does not make much sense to me.

I'd say that we're top heavy with plenty of holes. This team needs more depth at several key spots. Maybe even a starting CB2 and Guard. Just because someone is currently on the 53 man roster, doesn't mean he can't be improved upon with a draft pick. More ammo means more chances to hit on a few picks.

Just my opinion on the matter. I'm not saying you're wrong. We just see things differently.

The following two names were not on the poll of "what pass rusher do you want" (I voted for Dunlap).  But I trust Bills to make judgments on two potentially great adds:

    1.  Ryan Kerrigan - Bills have to judge how much he has left in the tank, but if he has a fair amount he could be a real difference maker.  Seems like a great fit.

    2.  Aldon Smith -- still young (30, may have turned 31), Smith could make a difference for years.  He is a chiseled 285 lbs, one of the best pure pass rushers of the last decade and stout against the run.  If you read about his turnaround, it is quite a story.  Personally, I believe in redemption.  But so, so often, it is not real.  I trust our front office to do the diligence to figure it out with Smith.  If they decide to sign him, I would be wildly supportive.  If they decided "do not touch" I would fully understand.  But I think Aldon is a much better risk than a (*^*&%^$^#like Sammy Watkins - at least Smith was once great.  Played all 16 last year.

I think Kerrigan might be the best available FA defensive end in the NFL for Epenesa to learn from.

Yea I have him in that late 3rd territory. If the Bills haven't gone corner in round 1 they should wait until round 3 for me. After the top 4 guys - Surtain, Farley, Horn & Newsome there is very little until you get to a clutch of 3rd round guys like Melinfonwu, Robinson, Samuel, Stokes and Adebo.

I basically have two second round corners - Tyson Campbell and Kelvin Joseph.

I like Adebo. His tape is inconsistent but the raw materials are there.

Melifonwu is such an intriguing prospect. He has great size and he makes plays. We need guys like him. Would look great in a Bills uni. Just saying.

  11. Nasirildeen, all day. This team needs physical freaks that actually make plays on the field.

New England is going to go heavy 12 personnel. We'll need to counter that. Our defensive playbook against Baltimore will help. But having Nasirildeen covering TEs would make it a lot easier.

I have a man-crush on the guy, is what I'm trying to say.
