Classic Wrestling..... Heres one for the ages!!!
NavyBillsFan replied to NavyBillsFan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Wrestling went bad in 1989. That is where I stopped my tape collection. If anyone here would like to see their fav. show, pm me. You provide the blank dvds, and I will burn them for you. I have about everything from the 70-80 era. I got a list but way to long to post here but here is everything broke down.. NWA from 1985 to 1998. I have ALL of the WTBS shows on at 8am and 6pm. Close to over 2500 shows, nothing cut! See your fav coms too!! Georgia Championship Wrestling 1978- Black Sunday (1985) (Remember black Sunday? When WWF bought out the contract on WTBS and started showing WWF insted of GCW? People rioted outside of TBS in Atlanta because of this... The contact was bought back from Vince Mc and given back to GWA which turned into Crockett Promotions NWA! First time ever, Vince showed up on their first show and said sorry to the fans and gave them back what they wanted. Bold move by Vince but a great one since the WWF took right off after that. Won the hearts and minds of the Southern Wrestling fans!) Memphis Championship Wrestling - IMHO The GREATEST of all wrestling with some great story lines and wrestlers... This is were the WWE stole most of their wrestlers (Bundy, Savage)... Jerry the King Lawler ran the show there. Great stuff and I got them all!!! 1976-1988.. Will take close to 600 dvds to cover them all!! Portland Championship Wrestling (the start of Rod Piper folks!!!) Mid Atlantic Wrestling, Got broken years here but one of the best ever World Class Championship Wrestling -- Great Texas Wrestling!!!! With the Von Erichs/Freebird fued!!! AWA Wrestling -- Got 8 years worth!! At on time, AWA owned every fed except for the WWWF (World Wide Wrestling Fed, before the WWE) Glow! Female wrestling from Vegas! Got them all!!! Rollar Derby..... I know there is a few here who watched it! Use to come on before TBS at 6am!!! Got some of that too!!! Gosh.... Im not even half through guys.... Just ask what your looking for! -

He was huge in the market. He was a very wealthy man and lost a ton of that money in bad investments. He know owns a Christian Wrestling Fed and has his own Ministry. One of the few classic wrestlers I dont have autographs on but I hear he is a very nice guy. -

The great Von Erich vs Bad Street USA war! (Fun stuff and great promos) Anything Midnight Express vs. Rock and Roll Express First time the Road Warriors lost in the AWA vs. Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin -

Madonna, Just not as public, no internet at the time! -
The unseen Sabres are no more.... Everyone is gunning for us. We just lost to Boston in a SO. But Miller was making saves standing on his head. Score could of been 6-2 easy.... Tim needs to come back, thats the first spark... also Darcy needs to take a look at how Carolina got it with picking up a couple of crafty vets at the trade deadline. Biron trade is needed, get some value for this guy! The Sabres power play is HORRIBLE!!!! 3 straight L's and we are not skating well, standing around waiting for something to happen, no emotion! We need to keep our standings in the East as the #1 team....

Do you guys think the non-sellouts are because the product sucks? Everyone has a boner on this end of season push with a couple of wins.... Who did we beat? Anybody???? How about everyone sit back and lets see if Ralph wants a winner here in Buffalo. After 10 years guys, the fans are now buying Sabre tickets or not making trips to watch a team make the same mistakes over and over again... Stand by I guess... -
20 RB's in a 32 team league are better than McGahee

So what do you say about a owner who has let this team go to %%^ with his cheap management and coaching choices? -
Plead with Ralph

Ralph is about to get a full view of what the new cap is all about folks. You have not seen nothing yet... Ill be shocked if we sign anybody with the way the bonus will be set -
Are you against trading the 12th pick?
NavyBillsFan replied to marauderswr80's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
ATTN ALL WILLIS WANTATRADERS, DRAFT PICK TRADERS, NATE HATERS, AND TKO MUST GOERS... THE REASON THIS TEAM SUCKS THE %^^ IS BECAUSE WE SPENT THE PAST 8 YEARS TRADING OUR PICKS FOR CRAP AND JUNK AND LETTING OUR CORE PLAYERS GO! THE BUFFALO BILLS HAVE NOT HAD A GOOD DRAFT SINCE 1987! READ THE FACTS!! THIS TEAM SCOUTS SUCK ROYAL!!!!!! PLUS WE ARE NOTHING BUT A FARM TEAM WITH OUR FA'S WALKING OUT THE DOOR! KEEP THE PICK... KEEP OUR PLAYERS....USE FA TO MAKE A WINNER!!! AND PLEASE DONT VOTE FOR DEMS, YOUR TAX DOLLARS WILL THANK YOU!!! -
Yes, we should trade him and get the average for a RB like Willis, 2nd or 3rd round pick Then, we should get rid of everyone elso on this team and sell to the first buyer! Then, all the fans of the Buffalo Bills can help the new owner pack the Mayflower trucks and we can all have a big cookout and relive the old days... How about this... Sign our players and quit being everyones stepping stone to the playoffs... These guys are not in the league to play for free...

Coaching wins playoffs guys... Coaching wins Super Bowls I hate to say it but its the ONLY reason NE has their SB wins.... New England 37 New York 17 This game is OVER in the first half... -
The Marty Schottenheimer Factor..... This guy cant win playoff games to save his life! Most of his playoff L's come from underdog teams. Sorry to say but I think New England (Lucky calls from blowjob Refs) or Baltimore (That D) puts the hammer on them... I would like to see them win the bowl through. Great work and job to A. J. Smith! Hope he calls Ralph if they win it all and farts in the phone for letting him go... NFL coaching career His professional coaching career began in 1974 when he became linebackers coach for the Portland Storm of the World Football League. In 1975 he was hired as a linebackers coach for the New York Giants and in 1977 became defensive coordinator. Schottenheimer spent the 1978 and 1979 as the linebackers coach for the Detroit Lions. Cleveland Browns In 1980, he was hired as the defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns. Schottenheimer became Cleveland's head coach midway through the 1984 season, replacing fired head coach Sam Rutigliano. Schottenheimer would remain with the Browns until 1988, amassing 44-27 (.620) regular-season record and a 2-4 (.333) mark in the playoffs, including four playoff appearances, three AFC Central Division titles, and two trips to the AFC Championship Game. Kansas City Chiefs Schottenheimer spent 10 seasons as head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs from 1989 to 1998 recording an impressive 101-58-1 regular season record (.634) including seven playoff appearances and three division titles. After a disappointing 7-9 season in 1998, Schotterheimer resigned as Chiefs head coach on January 11, 1999. Washington Redskins After working as a football analyst for ESPN from 1999 to 2000, Marty was hired as head coach of the Washington Redskins for the 2001 season. In a controversial move, Daniel Snyder, the owner of the Redskins, fired Schottenheimer on January 13, 2002 after just one 8-8 season to make room for former University of Florida head coach Steve Spurrier. Spurrier's own tenure with the Redskins was unsuccessful and he resigned in December 2003 after posting two losing seasons. San Diego Chargers The San Diego Chargers hired Schottenheimer as their 13th head coach on January 29, 2002. Schottenheimer has posted a 33-31 record (.516) with the Chargers including a playoff appearance, his 12th as a head coach, in 2004. In the wildcard round game played on January 8, 2005, the Chargers were upset by the underdog New York Jets 20-17 after going into sudden death overtime. On January 14, 2005, the Chargers announced that they had signed Schottenheimer to a two year contract extension running through the end of the 2007 season. Schottenheimer has led his teams to the playoffs 12 times, more than any other active NFL coach. He is tied for third (along with Chuck Noll and Bud Grant) in most playoff appearances by an NFL head coach since 1960. Only Don Shula (19) and Tom Landry (18) have led their teams to more playoff appearances. However, Schottenheimer's success in the regular season combined with his disappointing record in post-season play has led some pundits to label him as a coach who "can't win in the playoffs." The January 8, 2005 loss to the Jets brought his career playoff record to 5-12 (.294). In his 12 post-season appearances, Schottenheimer's teams have failed to win a playoff game eight times and a Schottenheimer coached team has not won a playoff game since the 1993 season.

Money means nothing to a owner.... Ralph fired Greg Williams and it costed him a years pay of oh... 50 cents.....
