  1. Bring Back the Home Town Kid!!!!
  2. Let me check the playoff seeding thread…
  3. Hold on. We have a caller on line #1. We’ll be right back.
  4. Thats brilliant. Sadly brilliant.
  5. That is something to take on board but sometimes it’s just the player who doesn’t pan out. How many guys have walked into the coaching standards and successes of the Reid’s, Belichick’s, Shula’s, Schottenheimer’s, Knox’s, Payton’s, McCarthy’s etc and done jack diddely squat? The amount of extremely successful WRs in t college who haven’t done anything in the league or are even pedestrian is laughable. It’s sometimes like a QB… you get drafting or acquiring until you finally get it right. Especially now that we have the hardest position to find: a top end quarterback, let alone a unicorn.
  6. Herbert almost gets his knee readjusted the opposite way by Highsmith… Chris Collinsworth on the replay: ”watch this! This is great!!!” 🤣
  7. So what do they do? Take the Packers recent approach and draft multiple guys each year until you get it right?
  8. For sure. I am surprised that was overlooked and passed up by a lot of journalists. Hopefully, for all those who forked out the lofty PSLs and lofty future ticket prices that anything like that is down the road. Would be very distasteful to do that to your fan base a few years into the move. Then again, I watched a video on how they gouged the tax payer on a historical level for pro sports teams moving into a new stadium….
  9. Best thing about the kid is he makes plays successfully on the ball. Back to back INTs for his first 2 games is worth it’s weight in gold.
  10. LMFAO Herbert the Chargers Valet! Wtf was that graphic all about 😂
  11. You’d hope so. Especially seeing as one of them was a generational talent who had their career derailed by injury. Kobe Bryant himself said T-Mac was one of the hardest and pursest scorers to defend. Thinking more on it, no. I don’t think they will. I am probably wrong but I’ve always maintained that those guys were brought in exclusively for their ties to the “American sports” market that resides in Toronto; Carter and McGrady for the Raptors and Jozy Altidore for Toronto FC. Wouldn’t surprise me if we scrap them being in the international series abroad in favor of the Toronto series again, which would equate to an international game you would think? I would rather that, selfishly, than them travel to Europe, Brasil, Mexico or the plans for Asia in the future.
  12. McConkey having a fair few drops this season. Uncharacteristic if you go by last year. I thought the Steelers weren’t going to issue Shazier’s jersey number anymore?
  13. Hilarious to me that the Chargers/Rams combo asked the tax payer to foot nothing of the construction costs on the new stadium they play in… Which makes sense when you factor that every away team sounds like they’re at home 😂
  14. No but he’s a quality 1b or 2 in this league. Not a needle over but Definitley an improver.
  15. See I think Flowers and Shakir aren’t that far off. Flowers is however like you said, better and I can’t disagree but the margin isn’t that expansive. Juedy, at least to me is just a high volume guy. His best games this season are seeing 12+ targets. Even then the stats aren’t wowing you like a lot of other guys can/would do. Would I take him on this team? Sure, it’s an upgrade on depth but I doubt he’d come in and be doing much more than Shakir does. But without the sake of minor disagreements, we see it the same way They are a pitiful product collectively and not something Josh should be having trotted out there. Kincaid makes them somewhat serviceable when he’s in. That seems to be another problem going forward…
  16. Defense is not great but they are missing players all over the place and other guys who are not performing uo to their standard. The offense doesn’t have to be perfect, they just don’t have to turn the ball over. Offense has absolutely no one of significance missing. Turning the ball over is the only problem. Pats game it cost us. Atlanta game, cost us. Fish part 2, cost us. There’s problems all over this team but the unit we should be expecting the most out of are the ones not living uo to par. Offense needs better play calling and call security. If you said to anyone we’d be middle of the pack, which they are, I think we would accept that if the offense wasn’t in such a rut as it is. Takes 2 to tango. But by standards and expectations, the offense is the one falling short.
  17. Cleveland is bad. TEs are a wash there. Other than that? The Ravens aren’t far off this group. Maybe the Giants without Nabers. Tennessee is pretty brutal. Raiders are rough. Patriots aren’t that great, they just got speed. I think Shakir would be putting up the same stats as Diggs if you switched places. Either way, theyre definitley in the bottom of the league.
  18. We were in on untouchable guys only!!!! Wilson/Waddle/Olave!!!
  19. Id be interested to find out what the price tag for draft picks was regarding Olave and Waddle… Someone mentioned we offered a 2027 first and Miami turned it down. If a 2026 would have done it and they said no, that’s bad business considering where we are at. I’d venture to say, given they are a division rival that it was a first and a day 2 pick at minimum.
  20. Pretty much. The talent level is below average but these guys have produced in similar if not worse situations, especially when you factor who was under center and in the backfield. Something’s got to give and it’s looking like Brady.
  21. Bucky Irving will be back next week, Rachaad White is no slouch but Bucky can take a game over. Hopefully we bounce back!
  22. Fair to happen to a rookie. Especially against a guy many wouldn’t have batted an eyelid and would rejoice had we successfully traded for him. Max has me confident for the future.
