Put him on the IR to end it. With KC falling apart, we could end up with a pair of top 15 picks!
KC's remaining schedule is looking like they'll get possibly 3 more wins. Oak at home, Mia at home and Denver at Denver. Doubt they'll beat the Chargers with the way they're surging

Why can’t people see Tyrod is not the answer??!!!!!!
People have seen it all year, plus they've seen what Peterman can do. Bills are boned for a QB, why not give Webb a shot?

Wildcat could work wonders with Shady too

Start Peterman second half no lie.
I'd rather run the wildcat the entire second half with Webb

the bills have to do the exact same thing that the pats are going to do to us....same thing they always do. stack the box...crash up the middle and/or send someone from the right side on every play. on the back end, they keep everything in front of them....prevent the long ball and force a lot of short stuff causing 3rd and longs.
this should be our game plan as well. i found it funny that hearing bb's interview, that all he talked about was taylor's long ball (of course not much else to praise him for)
but it just goes to show what they plan to do defensively. we have to beat them at their own game.
i also think one key would be to keep fresh legs on the dline. ie. williams, coleman, shaq and hughes, but a lot of ryan davis and eddie yarborough as well. i hope they have been practicing stunts. lorax constantly rushing, milano up the middle. this game plan has got to be fresh and unique for this game
Not sure I would wanna send Milano on a blitz, he seems like he'd be decent covering Gronkowski. As far as fresh legs go, I think Yarborough would be better served staying fresh than Lawson. Fresh legs or not, Lawson isn't a great pass rusher

This board is gonna be a hot mess at 4:15 on Sunday. I fully expect a big loss this week. However, indy and Miami should be 3 wins. It'll be interesting playing the Patriots games so close together. We'll see if it gives the bills any kind of edge. Doubt it though
I can't speak for everyone, but if the Bills lose, I won't be losing any sleep over it. Now if Tyrod pulls a Peterman with a pickfest, then I'll be a bit peeved. But if the Pats board the plane right there on the field after they barely win, it would be somewhat encouraging going forward from that

Yep, and the list of players on IR this year for the Ginats is 17 players and growing. Nonetheless, they lost the first 5 in a row to the Cowboys, Lions, Eagles, Bucs and Chargers.
Manning is stinking it up and I kinda doubt a change of scenery will improve him at this point. I'd rather Kirk Cousins or a top 5 rookie in the 2018 draft.
The only way I'd think about signing Eli is if his brother would come to Buffalo to coach.
Yeah I'd take my chances with Cousins as well before Manning. But to bring in any QB that doesn't have escapability would mean drafting nothing but O line in the first round. Well at least one O lineman, still have other big holes to fill

I'll second this. I'd rather a rookie over an older QB who couldn't win with OBJ, Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard and Evan Ingram. Manning is 2-9 this year. Besides, he just got benched for Geno Smith
To be fair, Manning hasn't had OBJ or Marshall for the majority of the year

Would you want the Bills to claim him?
he would carry this year and next two under contract but would be able to move on from him at really any time.

Don't think we have anywhere near a good enough O line to protect a QB like Manning. For all of Taylor's shortcomings, he can move. Manning would get constantly buried considering the holes we have on this O line.

Lol McDermott may be trying to confuse the Pats

I wasn't able to watch the game, but I noticed in the game thread that we called some blitzes. Did we blitz in this game more than other games?

Numbers dont alwsys equal points
It's not the defining stat no, but given what we've seen the last 3 weeks, Cousins has put up elite numbers compared to Taylor/Peterman. Not to mention Cousins had NO beat on the road whereas Taylor couldn't do anything at home. Those that are blaming Cousins for that loss apparently just want something to argue about. If the Bills decide to go after Cousins, and use the picks to either grab a top QB or fill holes all over the place, I won't have a problem with that. Numbers may not equal points but by the same standard, the QB isn't solely the reason why a team loses either

Cousins gave up 15 points in the last 5 minutes.. He missed a block on third and one and the running back got stuffed. Then he was playing defense and missed a few tackles.
Well hell, that explains everything. Oh, did he kick his lineman on a FG attempt that caused a false start knocking them out of FG range that ultimately would have won them the game too?

Then again Cousins is 4-6 despote putting up huge numbers
If he put up huge numbers, then obviously the problem isn't Cousins

How about we take another look at Thad Lewis?
Why stop there? How about Losman and Edwards signed to our practice squad?

Can't really argue with that, but Indy gave him garbage compared to what they gave Manning. Gugny believes Cam Newton will be pursued by Beane, not gonna say that's out of the realm of possibility given how many players from the Panthers we've acquired. If I had to choose between the two, I'd have to pick Newton
-
I can't criticize the move, and how everyone has pointed out that Taylor has been a stand up guy and a professional about everything up to this point, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if Taylor himself decided to take a step back on his own. Especially given how McDermott said in the post game presser that Taylor was gonna be the starter going forward. I don't think Taylor fits Dennison's scheme very well at all. Sunday just got that much more exciting
-
He should have been put in much sooner, like at the start of the 4th qtr. McDermott had to know the defense wasn't going to stop NO anyway. Not sure how Taylor wound up playing so skittish after playing reasonably competent up until the Jets game. Oh yeah, we traded Dareus
-
Christ, send Dennison home and let Taylor call his own play, geez

San Diego has been much better lately and the Jags have been so inconsistent.
Yeah but that's a west coast team traveling east and Fournette's been out the last 2 games. I can't see SD coming even close
-
Can't see SD beating Jacksonville, I think they run away with that division. Not sure I'd want the Bengals winning since they would own the tiebreaker over us, the Titans will probably get 2 more losses from Jacksonville and LA, but outside of that, their schedule is fairly weak competition wise.
-
Just watched his presser and I liked his responses and how he composed himself. Seems like a very well spoken and composed professional, and that speaks volumes toward his performance. One can't help but wonder if we hadn't traded Watkins, where would we be recordwise, but that's water under the bridge.
Another funny thing is I bet even Boldin raised an eyebrow when we made the trade.
-
If we get Clay back and McDermott gave an ass chewing to the O line after that Jets debacle last Thursday, then perhaps Benjamin will get some solid plays, more importantly open up Thompson for a deep strike, and possibly a nice screen for Shady. This is all gonna boil down to how our O line responds after a dismal performance last week
-
After watching what the Jets did to our O line, I'm not so sure. Benjamin isn't a speed guy and any big play to him will take time to develop. The Jets may have provided a blue print for every team we have left to play. Even with Benjamin, this team lacks some serious speed at the WR position.
Bills love Sam Darnold?

I'm not gonna pretend to know college quarterbacks, but according to all the hype being thrown around about this kid, it would probably be the first legit QB pick this team has made in ages.
Now I know we need help just about everywhere else, and as some have teased about drafting a RB, how insane would it be if we got both Darnold and Barkley? I know, pipe dream, but hey, if you're gonna dream, dream big
