Wasn't Lee Smith the one that was penalized on Spiller's KO TD return when it was the official's fault for going too far out of bounds?
-
They are asking on Twitter would you rather sign Revis or Hughes? I think that it is Revis for the system that we will be playing. The pressure will still be there. Obviously I'd like both but if you said pick one it's Revis for me.
But as of right now, we don't know what system we'll be playing, especially if Schwartz stays. If he does stay, and Rex lets him run the defense, we won't need Revis, keyword there being need
-
I think he is a free agent after this year. He is playing lights out. We could cut Mcelvein loose, and save some $. Rex and Revis love each other and would be scary
Way too much money for a position that's adequate enough with who we have on the roster now. No way I risk losing Hughes and possibly Dareus for Revis, that'd be the ultimate in lose lose

Jerry Bergman's dad Jerry Bergman, made one of the worst calls in the history of the Buffalo Bills. It was so horrific, that Ralph Wilson vowed he'd never officiate another Bills game. Wilson paid a fine for that, but Bergman never did another Bills game.
Here's what happened: The Bills were losing to the Dolphins, I think it was 1975. The were in the midst of a huge comeback, and had cut the lead to 3 or something. Miami had the ball, and Mercury Morris was on a sweep and Tony Greene upended him to the point where he was upside down, about a foot above ground, and the ball bounced loose. The Bills recovered. Bergman not only ruled no fumble (down by contact), but he tossed a 15 yard penalty on Pat Toomay who had apparently elbowed an official as he was trying to recover the fumble. Instead of having the momentum and the ball at about the Miami 25, we were penalized and everybody was so upset, they couldn't focus. Next play Don Nottingham ran up the middle for about 55 yards, and the game was in effect over.
The guy who determined the outcome of the Lions game today is the son of the guy who did that to the Bills. Beauty.
The NFL wanted Dallas to advance. It is worth several hundred million dollars. Nobody gives a crap about Detroit. But everybody in the country either loves the Cowboys, or hates them because they call themselves America's Team, and they have the biggest douchebag owner in the world.
Yeah it's all about money, and I guarantee money was thrown around for a piss poor call like that. I can't imagine even if there were proof of it that anything would be done about it. Honestly, I used to think Jones looked like the biggest moron for an owner til I read about Daniel Snyder. At least Jones gets the best results money can buy.

First I saw of him was in the bowl game on new years day.
I liked what I saw, definitely.
Threw for 550 yards, and not his first 500 yard game either.
If he only had the few picks you say he did, that's cool, because it isn't for a lack of throwing.
Seems to have good accuracy on short and long throws. If there is a chance, I would even move up a little to try to get him.
Question is what would it take to move up from 50 to an earlier 2nd round pick?

Watkins will ball against the Jets if what Marrone said was true about the draft. And yes Yolo, this D line will maul the Jets O line like a lion on a bloody gazelle
-
Are people still having a quote/multiquote issue?
Apparently not anymore, thanks
-
Meh, let ol Danny boy tamper, we can take their first and the Jets'. Wouldn't that be one hell of a draft?
-
Only bug I have is my quote function doesn't work

I'd be totally shocked if Reich was made head coach from nothing more than being an OC for Rivers. There's no way Pegula or Whaley can go the way of Reich with the little amount of experience he has as a coordinator
-
Yes, the defense had a bad day. But how many weeks, months has the offense had a bad day? 6 straight 3 and outs would wear out any defense, even ours.
-
With the Bills' luck, we'd trade our '16 first for Brees, then he'd tear his Achilles tendon in his third preseason game
-
Fred's been awesome and I'm glad he's a Bill, but with that being said, he did look pretty slow in Denver. Maybe he's still a bit hampered by that groin injury, but he did look slow
-
Not having a first round pick is bad enough, but I can't see the FA pool being all that great. Not to mention we will probably still try to work out a deal with Hughes, then Dareus the following year.

I swear, some elite QB could have thrown for 750 yards on Sunday, and the media would still be all over Manziel's jock like a growth. Down 17 with the defense giving him the middle of the field, he orchestrated a drive that ended up with a TD. Then the second series, it was 4 and out when it should have been 3 and a fumble out. What makes this kid any different than RGIII? Oh his faggy nickname I guess. The Bills let him taste the teeth of the defense but the media seems to forget that. He'll end up nothing more than Beiber wearing a football helmet
-
For GB, the Bills should ask Bruce Smith to come out in his Bills uni pads and all and lead the charge
-
Boobie on Whitner? It would end up being Whitner pie
-
Can't use quotes on here for some reason, but yeah, Whitner could use a baby ruth shower. Then replace the W in his name with an S, and there ya go Donte, new nickname and better fitting. Yeah, I hope Pettine gets a lot of love from the crowd when he comes out. Can't say anything but good things about the guy
-
Oh I hope someone takes a dump on Whitner right as he's trotting out. But for Pettine, I'd expect he'd get a warm ovation. Did a good job here, and opened up a spot for a D coordinator just as good
-
A lot of the media pundits do think Idzik will be back next year. If Woody Johnson hasn't gone soft in the brain, he'd better keep Ryan instead. I could see Idzik doing something like spending all those cap space dollars on RGIII plus their first rounder
-
The funny thing is the Jets will end up keeping the real problem in Idzik.
-
Only other MNF game the Bills played was the Monday night meltdown against Dallas IIRC
-
Just heard about this on the Mike Francesca show. I hope this punk ends up on a practice squad the rest of his career
-
This is true desperation. Manziel has no respect for the game. He thinks he's above the game and touts himself as one of the best without having played a single down. Goes out and parties after being drafted in the first round. That's a damn joke in itself. Hell no, let Jerry Jones moronically trade his first for him. I'd sooner have Losman back with Edwards, Hobert, Johnson, Nall and Brohm as the OL
Right from Jerome Bettis mouth.... Great meet and great!

That's one hell of a story and it sounds like Bettis is a hell of a guy. Thanks for sharing fellow vet
