NFL warns it will punish teams for faking injuries
Saxum replied to Fleezoid's topic in The Stadium Wall
If they had that rule during Cowpokes Superbowl years they would be forever punished. He would get injured, act like he would never play again and then after one missed play would be back. Broadcasters at one point were saying they should bet on whether he would return and he did. The broadcasters never repeated that likely because studio told them not to. -
We must watch different channels. This time of year on channels I watch there are more insurance commercials especially for Medicare leaches but majority of commercials I see are for laywers trying to get you to use their services as part of a group lawsuit or for products which are short period of time due to supply shortages and so they are limited numbers available taking their cue from football stadiums being made small to drive up cost.

Receiver Options For the Remainder of the Season?
Saxum replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kumerow is on IR and will be forced to sit out until at least Week 15 against the Dolphins. Kumerow was doing a lot of downfield blocking which is not allowed by linemen. None of the other WRs are as good him at that. It is why he had so many snaps. -
He could have done a commercial about him moving from Cleveland to Baltimore.

Frankly broncos QB evaluations were poor when in front office.

Report: Broncos Assign John Elway a New Role as 'Outside Consultant' John Elway is no longer on the inside of Broncos HQ. https://www.si.com/nfl/broncos/news/john-elway-outside-consultant-new-role
-
Elway retired from official capacities and is now a consultant and I think Broncos will use him but if they used him on decision of signing Russell Wilson and he thought it was a good idea they may not. Elway did not sign Wilson.
-
I am expecting a moving company to hire him for a commercial soon.

Mayfield is not a game manager. He needed to be stripped down and rebuilt by Alex Van Pelt but he kept reverting to previous form.

Quinnen Williams & Richard Sherman hardest QB to tackle
Saxum replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
What "stiff arm like Deion Sanders"? The DB whose best defense was to run right at him? No Josh does NOT have a limp arm. I thought some team should have signed Sherman to PS for "emergency, break glass". -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - No Bills on Sunday Afternoon, No Problem
Saxum replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Cordy Glenn trade was good deal for Bills for he did not even last full remaining three years of contract. He played 19 of 32 possible games and started 18 having concussion last 10 games and one game suspended for discipline. No bites after Bengals. -

@AdamSchefter Actually his 4th stint. AdamSchefter should look at Wikipedia (or some other source) more or word his tweet better. 37 games played in NFL. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2008–2011 - Johnson was named the starting quarterback on September 28, 2010 San Francisco 49ers (2012)* Sacramento Mountain Lions (2012) Cleveland Browns (2012) - After an injury to starter Thad Lewis, Johnson played for one snap in a Week 17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The single snap resulted in a sack fumble. Cincinnati Bengals (2013) San Francisco 49ers (2014)* - On August 31, 2012, Johnson was one of 21 players cut as the 49ers trimmed their roster to the 53-man limit for the regular season. Cincinnati Bengals (2015)* - He was released on May 12, 2014. New York Jets (2015)* Indianapolis Colts (2015) Buffalo Bills (2015) Baltimore Ravens (2016)* New York Giants (2016) Houston Texans (2017) Oakland Raiders (2018)* Washington Redskins (2018) San Diego Fleet (2019) (AAF) Detroit Lions (2019)* Los Angeles Wildcats (2020) (XFL) San Francisco 49ers (2020–2021)* New York Jets (2021) Baltimore Ravens (2021) Denver Broncos (2022) San Francisco 49ers (2022–present) * Offseason and/or practice squad member only -

Jimmy Garappolo carted off in SF, broken foot, no surgery, 7-8 weeks
Saxum replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
Players cannot be traded for. If they are cut they go thru waiver wire first. of course we are talking about GOAT Cheater. Maybe NFL will change rule for him; they have done it in the past. -

I was thinking more of convincing someone to unretire. Trades of course are impossible. They could also look for a QB to be #2 to Purdy on another team's practice squad (i.e. Matt Barkley). -

Mr. Irrelevant, QB Brock Purdy, takes over for the 49ers. If they make the playoffs they will be a Irrelevant team. Will 49ers look for a veteran QB who can run their system? -
They lost.

Chiefs at Bengals Game thread - 4:25 PM Kickoff
Saxum replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
I liked it when they were showing faces of Chiefs players. They know how Bills players felt with constant losses against Pat(hetic)s even when they played better but game was given to them by cheating or zebra "Just give it to them" call. -

When a QB slams a helmet down and breaks the electronics in helmet do they just get another one or do they need to just play without electronics? -
