No Jeudy,
With no seamless Cole Beasley replacement this year, perhaps Von’s guarantee on OBJ is truth.
I take it as gospel. Amen.

Their QB was 4th in yards when benched and is still 6th in the league. The team is 9th in passing yards per game. Something don't smell right!! Hmm.
Maybe that's why they fired the OC too...

Here's the Colts forum thread on the trade:

They universally hate the trade and think Hines will be a great player for us.
Did you send them a sample of some of the negativity here? 😎

I wish Hodgins had gotten more of a shot here - but we have so many good receivers. Hopefully he finds a home w/ another team.
If he clears waivers, he's back on the PS

Imagine spending that much money on a ticket and then sleeping through the whole thing?
Unrelated question: Are there people who come to the tailgates without a ticket and then watch the game on TV in the parking lot? I haven't been to an NFL game since the 90's, but I saw a bunch of people doing that at the one Ohio State game that I went to a few years ago.
When my group goes to games, it’s all about the food at the tailgate. Several times we’ve roasted a whole pig and there’s usually 3-5 people who come without a ticket and set up a TV. It’s great to come back to that after the game as you wait for traffic to die down too.

Rams strategy - Traded for Miller and Signed OBJ. Both helped win a super bowl.
We signed Miller, and all indications are we’ll sign obj. All good?
-
While they won, They didn’t cover the spread because someone started a thread last week asking who the Bills would play in the Super Bowl…
That is a warning!

Did the other 3 threads get pushed off the front page?

WHAT EXPECTATIONS?
I turn on the TV and whatever happens, happens..
Wow! How many times have you been lucky enough it was on the game's channel when you turned it on?

I think playing against his idol and trying to make insane plays got into Josh's head.
I think Alexander got into everyone's heads.
Yeah, I said same in post-game thread. Diggs and DAvis were distracted and more interested in getting a hit on him.

It's clear that with all the media attention around Bills mafia and the gameday experience, fans of opposing teams want to come and join in the festivities. A few years back, I use to hate the sight of opposing fans in the Ralph. The amount of fights I saw in the stadium is staggering. My tune has changed. People want to come and experience the game day awesomeness that is a Bills game.
I've been to 20 nfl stadiums and only had one bad experience in Carolina (drunk kids wouldn't leave me alone all game), but in general have been treated very well by opposing fans.
I think we should celebrate Buffalo being a destination for opposing fans, credit to the Bills Mafia brand and what it's done for this franchise. I just sometimes get annoyed with the amount of Canadian fans that support the other teams... and I'm Canadian!
Embrace the attention, and show fans the awesome hospitality that Buffalo has to offer!
As your own post states, Bills games HAVE become a destination. I guess what you mean is we all SHOULD embrace this, which I think many fans have.
Buffalo seems to have always suffered from the Sally Field's insecurity, but now we're finding out "You (the rest of the country) like us, you really like us!"

I thought the Packers got under their skin, and they lost focus because of it.

Wilson is getting benched after this.
No way Saleh risks not making the playoffs and losing his job
Going to be an interesting week in East Rutherford
How long is flacco out for? He makes them more dangerous.

I swear Lawrence is going backwards from where he started last year.
He's on the Baker Mayfield track. Getting national endorsements before he's accomplished anything, and will eventually back up baker at Carolina...

A childhood friend, a Packer fan, came out for the weekend and the game. It was a great weekend, not so much for him in the end.
I looked into tickets this year, and what a difference. We probably paid $75 per ticket in 2014, and I couldn't find much for under $400 this year.

I don't think Jones is a "secret" to most people here, but what I did find interesting was how well Big Phil is playing against the run. We certainly know him for his pass rush, but I was impressed by his run defense in that clip. The other thing that I liked was finally getting some film on Settle. His injuries have limited him a bit, and I've wondered how effective he's been, so it was also good to see some analysis of his play.
Thanks for posting.

the OP is just a troll and has made himself look like a fool once again. All in all a good outcome for this thread in my book.As I recall, this thread was created the evening the Bills beat the Chiefs, the most important game of the regular season. When I checked TBD after the game, I saw the thread title and wondered "what idiot started this thread after the Bills just beat the Chiefs?"

If initials are good enough for our creator (of TBD), it’s good enough for me. 🍻

The Miller sack discussion and pics is interesting. JoeB gives credit to Epenesa for collapsing his side, but it also looks like Big Phil played a big part. It looks like he has his man beat but is not taking advantage of it, rather he stops and jumps to prevent Mahomes from throwing to the left side where he's focused on. That delay provides the time for Miller and Epenesa to sack Mahomes. Now it could've been coverage that prevented PM from throwing, but I think the big man deserves credit too.

Allen is like Neo from the Matrix after Morpheus tells him "Don't think you can do it...KNOW you can!" and once Allen started to believe that midway through last season it's been pretty much over for opposing teams on D.
I don't think that was the issue--believing in himself. I was looking at discussions from the past two years, and the issue many of us described, as I phrased it, "the only person who can stop Josh Allen is Josh Allen". Once he learned to stop the hero ball and always looking for the big play, and realizing that taking the check-down was okay, he became nearly unstoppable.

We are awesome in kick and punt return coverage, and mediocre in kick and punt return average.
Edit: oh, and Football Outsiders is where those rankings are…
Thanks. Fortunately, the poor return game doesn't matter for this team... 😎
[In fact, I believe they get TDs 100% of the time when starting inside their own 5 yard line!]

Week 9: Bills at Jets - Sunday Nov. 6th 1pm
in The Stadium Wall
Posted
While Jets fans might be more extreme, it's not much different here in terms of how fans react when some player has a bad game--he's a bum, move on from him, trade him, he'll be gone next year, etc. The BIG difference is it's the QB position for the Jets.
