  1. Let's just say I don't see your weird conclusions being on our radar without your parents having unprotected sex on a particular night (and maybe better judgement, but who am I to judge?)
  2. This stat is so misleading. I guess you could say then that Aaron Rodgers is 0-35 against teams with winning records when trailing and there's 0:01 left in the game.
  3. The Bills' order was to defeat whoever dressed in Pats* uniforms. They can't be at fault for someone not dressing. They had to win against whoever lined up against them, and so they did.
  4. Sure, this win MAY hurt us in the long run. We can not tell for sure right now. But also, this win MAY help us in the long run. It can also be the turning point for this franchise. The possibility's there. It doesn't matter if we all acknowledge it (I truly believe it matters if we all believe it), both (hurt or help) are real possibilities and we will not know which one it will be for a long time. So, why bother?
  5. I am really enjoying the win today! Sure, there were many plays that could have gone better for us, just as there were many others that could have gone better for the Pats*. What is the main reason you watch the game every sunday? Do you want the Bills to win and enjoy that sweet sensation that has become too scarce for our fan base? Do you want the Bills to suck/lose so you can come here and prove everyone you're right about ______ (Rex, Whaley, Tyrod... fill in the blank any way you like)? For me, it all comes down to the Bills winning: first, the actual or upcoming game. Second, winning enough games to get us to the playoffs. Third, winning the Super Bowl. I don't have any interest in Rex leaving or staying, Whaley being proven a genius or a sucky GM, Tyrod being the answer instead of anyone (or the other way around). My main interest is the Bills getting a win. And by no means I'm trying to prove that I'm right and that everyone that thinks or feels differently than I do is wrong, I just think that we can get too caught up in our struggle to be proven right, losing focus of what we all really want: Bills wins. As many as we can get of them. So, yes, Rex won, Whaley won, Tyrod won, Sammy won, you won, I won. We all won. Because we are all Buffalo Bills at heart, and in the end, that's all that really matters. Enjoy this win, especially since we beat the Pats*, and shut them out. That happens about once every 10-15 years. So don't miss on enjoying this beautiful Sunday! 2-2, always better than 1-3.
  6. Fred Jackson up the middle for 1 yard, holding called on Lee Smith, we get 1st and 20.
  7. That is, of course, assuming that they take turns giving up pressure and never does it happen for two or more players at the same time. Completely unrealistic.
  8. If we win the Houston game, EJ starts at Detroit, we lose that one, and maybe Kyle Orton is still on the bench... So, that Houston game, although it counts as a loss, turned many losses into wins.
  9. Hey guys! Writing an update from the airport, about to board our flight to Detroit and then to Buffalo! Thanks for the invite! Will send you a PM as soon as I arrive in Buffalo. That's an awesome story. You are so lucky to have a mother in law like that! Hope to meet both of you tomorrow! MGK, thanks for all the tips and pointers. Already on tap to go to Duffs and Weck, and will be staying relatively close to the stadium (Hampton Inn at I-90 and Ridge Rd). I know the experience of being tomorrow at the game will be second to none. I love everything about Buffalo and the Buffalonians. And everything came together for this particular opening weeking, so I could not pass on the opportunity. Here's to a great Buffalo romp of the Dolphins, El Pegula, Kelly cancer free, and more hope for a playoff season! Thanks! Thank you! Have already reserved a spot there. Can't wait!!! Thanks zonabb. Fortunately I'm going with my wife who will be the designated drivers if I have one beer to many. I know that Buffalo people are the best. That's exactly the reason that made me get hooked. I liked the team, but once I found about the city, the history, and got the chance to talk/write to some Buffalonians I knew that I am, deep inside, just another Buffalo native that happened to be born outside Thanks! Thanks Kelly! I still don't know if I'll be flying there later in the season. Hopefully I do and get to attend a game at Busby's with you! Sure! Will be reporting back here every time I get the opportunity
  10. Thanks Ryan, will do all of those! Already reserved a spot at Hammer's Lot and will be bringing beer and some food. We'll be there at 8am, hope that's early enough! Will definitely go to Duff's, too. Best wings in Buffalo? That should be legendary. rico, thanks for the tips. Rented a car in advance and booked our stay at the Hampton at I-90, seems like good value and got a fair deal. Will have as much fun as humanly possible. Thanks! Thanks Dean! We will yell like pinches locos! (f***ing nutheads) I am pretty sure I'll be hoarse when the game ends. So worth it! Yungmack, that's very kind of you. I feel very welcome already. I decided not to sit too much on the possibilities and already got our room, very close to the stadium (Hampton's at I-90). I don't want to be a pain in the ass for anyone, just want to be part of the experience and hopefully get to meet and party with as many of you as possible. Will give you a call when I'm in LA during NFL season Thanks JR! It just felt like the right time to make the dream come true!!! That's a shame Mead, you have been very kind and helpful. But hey, I just know I will love the experience and will get back later this season (hopefully) if there is a game in december with playoff implications. Congratulations on the arrival of your granddaughter! And so many replies from all of you guys make mine warm as well. Surely this will be a day to remember the rest of my life! That's the spirit, Caveman!!! Hope to see you there!
  11. Wish I could shake yours too. Hey, we wouldn't mind joining in. It would be even bigger and better than the grand final act of Perfume. I know! it just felt right brother. Will enjoy every second, every first down, even every run up the middle for 2yds! Thanks! Don't believe in Chromium 6, I just believe in a Tannehill Pick 6. Will never regret it, no matter what the scoreboard says. That being said, I would happily welcome a squishing of the fish to make it just perfect.
  12. Fellow TBDers, I am overloaded with happiness and joy, as surely all of you are, because of the Pegula announcement. We all deserve it and it certainly feels like the greatest feeling in the world. This feels like we just won the Super Bowl (hopefully we'll get the chance to compare those two feelings very soon)! I am 33 and from Mexico City (lived all my life here). Have been a Bills fan since I was 9, when I bet on Super Bowl 25 with a fellow classmate - the loser had to cut his hair. I had never watched an entire NFL game before that January 1991 day, but since that day (by accident at first, and by love from then on) I have bleed love for our Buffalo Bills. Watched all four of the SBs and every single regular season game since NFL Sunday Ticket was made available here (1996). Experienced every high and low this franchise had lived in the past two decades, and along the way have read many of you since those days (I remember even visiting a GoBills.com website to get my daily fix of Buffalo Bills news and rumours. I had always dreamt of being at a game at then Rich, now Ralph Wilson Stadium. However, I was too young (or not economically able enough) to accomplish my dream. Fortunately, that has changed in the recent years. I traveled to Houston in 2012 to catch my first Buffalo Bills live game. Bought first row tickets on the Bills sideline for the game at Reliant - it turned out to be a little sour experience for me and my Bills-converted wife (not just the loss, we were constantly harrassed by local fans and I didn't expect people to spend the entire game screaming insults at our players, not giving our ears a rest for even a minute). However, it was a dream come true and we are ready to go back there for the game in three weeks!!!! Fast forward to today: with the win at Chicago, the Pegula announcement earlier today, and after listening to many people on WGR, I decided to pull the trigger. Didn't care to overpay for the game tickets, the custom jersey, the last-minute flights... I AM FINALLY GOING TO THE RALPH THIS SUNDAY!!!!!! Section 134 Row 44 I knew I couldn't miss this game. It feels like it will be one of those games etched in Bills history, and I am so excited and privileged to be joining the team and all of the fans to live and experience it. I would appreciate if you could help me with some tips and pointers so we get to live the best gameday experience of our lives. We are flying Saturday morning and arriving on Saturday night. Other than the game and the plane tickets, I still need to book hotel, car rental and all of that. I don't know how to get to the stadium, if I will be welcomed to tailgate with fellow fans... also, where to hang out after the game... all of that. I have dreamt of being a Buffalo Bills fan at a Buffalo Bills game and it's finally coming true, so I want it to be as true and special as it can get. Thank you for all your help and hope to see you at The Ralph on Sunday! Go Bills!
