Something very cynical about this. I think a review of history will reflect that the Venn diagrams for "ambitious" and "leader of men" intersect. I don't know what to think about this. Bad news: an Islamic rebel force threatens to take over a country. Good news: Iran's control over Syria is slipping, fast. Probably good news: Russia is preoccupied with Ukraine and can't do as much damage as it would like to do in other parts of the world. Probably Bad news: stability under a dictator beholden to Iran may be preferable to chaos in the region.

Good comment. The Bills are undoubtedly one of the best regular season teams. As you suggest, maybe that's because we're one of the most prepared (and typically, deepest) rosters. I'm not sure that our starting 22, all other things (injuries, etc) has ever been clearly the best starting 22 in the NFL. Other than those early Jacksonville/Houston losses, it's hard to argue that we lost to a weaker team.
