    Eagles gave up 2 1st rounders, a 2nd, a 3rd, and a 4th to draft their QB. I like Mahomes better than Wentz and we save a 1st, 2nd , 3rd, and 4th rounder!

    Actually, he didn't. The word was that those who saw him throw in person were so unimpressed that they never thought of him. But Brady is such an outlier that there is no point in trying to replicate his success.

    Yes, there is a lot involved. I understand Barbarian's POV. I just disagree that a QB needy team can eliminate 95% of the college talent pool because they want their QB to be NFL ready. Get a real offensive coordinator who can break your QB in like Dak and get him comfortable, then expand on that every year.

    If Darnold is what you hope he is we aren't getting him. It's a nice thought but the Bills refuse to rebuild. McDermott is trying to get to 7 wins.

    So you wouldn't draft Marcus Mariotta or Dak Prescott? If we followed your rules we could only wait for Andrew Luck (and we never draft top 2) or run a Peterman or a Chad Henne out there.

    If you land a franchise QB it makes the rest of the draft gravy. But I am sure you understand how a top QB will change a franchise while an outside linebacker creates no change to the direction of a team.

    Yes, this is what Bills fans will say when we have another Jauron draft. Yet even a class like 2014 can yield a franchise QB. You don't know that this is not another 2014, you're hoping.

    It's not about Air Raid. I was told Goff would be a bust but it had nothing to do with playing in a spread offense. Air Raid is just a spread offense. There is nothing about it that prevents a prospect anymore than another spread offense. Air Raid's poor record has to do with they had few talented QB prospects playing in it.

    If he does that then he will just be another failed defensive coordinator turned head coach. He should talk to his buddy Leslie Frazier.

    I was told long before the combine by someone I know that coaches in college football that Watson throws a ball that flutters. That will not work in Buffalo. If you ignore QB qualities and favor college production you end up with Tim Tebow, Ken Dorsey, or Vince Young as your first round pick.

    Can't it be both? EJ Manuel was a bad pick who looked his best when he first started. After 4 years of Bills "coaching" the guy looks worse than when he got here.

    This isn't about Mahomes supporters. Many of them are also Watson fans. You obviously don't understand arm strength and the NFL. It is not the only thing. What there is is a minimum requirement to play in the NFL and Watson throws like a marginal NFL backup. Fine. Name one success drafted in the last decade who throws below 50 mph. I'll wait.
