  1. Sports are entertainment. Fans lose interest for various reasons. I already expect a 5-6 win team next year. What I want is some hope. If no hope is around the corner why should I be interested? And if you still believe in Tyrod, great. Not everyone feels the same.
  2. Great advice. Maybe you should try it as well?!
  3. Yes, the mechanics crowd. I just posted their #1 guy from that crowd. Enjoy. If the Bills really mess up this draft and just do a Levy-Jauron I might just lose interest for a few years.
  4. When the Bills need Tyrod to lead a 4th quarter drive I have zero faith.
  5. What's funny is you are just making stuff up now.
  6. Yes, the thread came back a few weeks ago. To be fair a few liked Dak too but all it took was the comparison to get out there by one or two writers and some people here went with that.
  7. Enjoy it while you can. Tyrod is not good enough and the Bills decided they would not pick up the option.
  8. Yes, if you want your QB's to follow the rules then you should read Greg Cossell. Here is Greg showing the way by his QB methods...Here is Greg in 2014. “I would say it’s probably an average quarterback class,” he said during our phone conversation. “There’s certainly not a slam-dunk guy in this draft by any stretch of the imagination. But some, based on their different circumstances, may have an opportunity to develop. But there’s no guy that you say regardless of the situation will be a high-quality starting NFL quarterback.” Of the top three quarterbacks, at least in the media’s eyes, Cosell liked the potential of Blake Bortles, the Central Florida quarterback who is a popular Vikings choice in mock drafts, most. “Bortles, to me, would be the best down-the-road prospect because of size, which is a definite attribute,” he said. “I think he’s got a good arm, not a gun. I think he’s got movement ability. I think he’s got the kind of traits that you ultimately look for in an NFL starting quarterback.” Cosell then dismissed Derek Carr as a project because he played in a spread offense. He then gave Mahomes the Derek Carr treatment this year. http://www.startribune.com/talking-quarterback-prospects-with-greg-cosell-of-nfl-films/258131691/ You just compared Mahomes to Tebow? That's cool. That was what people on this board called Dak last year. Another Tebow.
  9. Yes, I think that once you start to believe Tyrod is better than Luck it's time to cut down on the Kool-Aid.
  10. Really? I have also advocated for Trubisky. It really comes down to how the draft falls. if Mahomes and Trubisky are gone then it's fine if the Bills don't take a QB. If there is a QB with franchise potential and the Bills pass then I will still be a Bills fan but hope is gone until regime is fired.
  11. Completely agree. The problem is is there anyone at One Bills Drive thinking of more than next year? Whaley seems to be losing influence and this upcoming draft will have the stamp of McDermott on it. Will the new defensive coach just look to fill in holes on the roster or will he think more strategically? You win the thread.
  12. I should be prepared for what the Bills "One Voice" will do and not get my hopes up that someone will wake up over there.
  13. I'm fine with someone not liking my player. When someone just lies and makes stuff up it annoys me. It seems like Fahey just took Cossell's evaluation, added some exclamation marks and hyperbole and called it his own. At least I understand Cossell and where he is coming from.
  14. Yes, but if you're convinced Tyrod is the answer it's easy to start convincing yourself you need to build around him. There are a large contingent of Bills fans who don't think QB is a need.
  15. You're right, sorry. Here's to the next linebacker or defensive back that fits McD's scheme!
  16. The person you are talking to is also convinced that nothing needs to be done other than let Tyrod play. There is no point in discussing draft strategies with someone whose mind is already made up.
  17. No, I'd rather take 3 or 4 random plays out of context and declare him a future draft bust. Wait, sounds like a Fahey "evaluation".
  18. Having a Patrick Mahomes, Welcome to Buffalo party downtown
  19. That's the beautiful thing about this time of year. Soon enough we will know who is right and who is wrong.
  20. Ok, that's fine. You just don't like the QB's. I personally like this year better at the top than last year. Mahomes> Wentz and Trubisky > Goff. And the person in my network that sold me on Mahomes had Dak #2 on his board last year over Goff. The Bills are responsible for scouting these QB's. If they fail to do their job they will deserve to be ridiculed.
  21. That's not the issue. Just because a class is better doesn't mean it will benefit the Bills. Would you pass on Derek Carr in 2014 because 2015 is supposed to be better?
  22. Honestly, if you want to get the excitement just watch a game where you can see every snap. Scouting reports don't do him justice. You have to see for yourself.
  23. Rosen has great arm talent but he has a 5 cent head. He's great if you give him all the weapons and protection. But if things start to go south he will bail. He does not take hits very well and his personality and Buffalo would never work. Darnold looks great but if he stays on the trajectory we never get a chance at him. Jackson? No.
  24. It's true. Air Raid was for underdog schools who got the QB's no one else wanted. Nick Foles and Case Keenum not that impressive. But Air Raid is now getting Jared Goff, Patrick Mahomes, and Luke Falk type prospects so this way of thinking will soon be over.
