  1. Ball velocity just started to get measured in 2008. So no. Here is a spreadsheet that has every year but I can't vouch for the accuracy of it all. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1_-SienfT3umX0HKxRyQqyXM9BqHrotdcQA6W-V_pDiY/htmlview?usp=drive_web&usp=sheets_home&ths=true&sle=true#
  2. Yes, I'll give you that. EJ just didn't deal well with pressure or games. The more coaching he got, the more he learned, the worse he got.
  3. No, I don't. I think he will be over drafted. I would rather target a Chris Godwin later on.
  4. I don't take guys at ten based on hope with no production. David Njoku is a similar prospect who might be better than Howard and he will still be on the board at 20. When I say elite I mean elite prospect. Of course OJ or Njoku have elite potential in the NFL. As of now they are just very good prospects.
  5. I don't see elite talent dropping to ten. Jamal Adams will be gone, Solomon Thomas will be gone. OJ Howard at ten?! Corey Davis? Marlon Humphrey? Reuben Foster?! None of these guys are elite and there will be similar guys at 20.
  6. EJ threw 54 MPH which to some means do not draft.
  7. Seems like an ideal zone cover corner. Gives up big plays according to the reports but is ferocious in space.
  8. If we take someone other than Kizer it's likely not a Whaley pick. Trubisky doesn't seem like a Whaley guy.
  9. Is he even making the call now?
  10. Would the Bills know what a QB looks like if he was right in front of them? Stay tuned for the NFL draft.
  11. If the Bills are depending on Trubisky or Mahomes to fall to the second round they need to seek professional help for their mock drafts.
  12. And it's not just the starters. This team has zero depth. Even a couple injuries and we are battling for the bottom. We need two great drafts to become really competitive again.
  13. NFL network, Mahomes must learn to take snaps under center. Also, every NFL team starting in 2018 must carry a fullback.
  14. I see this as 5 to 6 win team. I think we peaked a few years ago and haven't replaced the talent that has left in the last few drafts. Last year was an awful draft. I have no interest in building a team that can at best sneak into the playoffs and then get its head caved in. I aim higher.
  15. Yes, the Bills are not very good at tricking people. Hey Bills, don't say you are doing a smoke screen! Not believable.
  16. They have been sold on the importance of drafting from a good QB class. I could care less if I get a guy with franchise potential if his class is poor. If I get a franchise guy and everyone else gets a lemon I'm fine! Bills are nowhere without a QB. We don't have the guy on the roster now. If we don't get a QB some fans will cheer for losses to get a top 5 pick. That's the silver lining, not another no QB 6 or 7 win season.
  17. Yeah, I don't see it. It's not like the Bills hold the keys to the draft. If someone wants a QB bad they can trade up. No one I see at 10 as a non-QB looks like a tier above what will be there at 20.
  18. If the Bills pass on a Mahomes or Trubisky to get a player like OJ or Corey Davis they are even dumber than I thought. If McDermott pulls a Dick Jauron draft and falls on his face then we hired the wrong guy.
  19. The way it is used in thread it means anyone who disagrees with me or disagrees strongly with me. Not actually the definition, maybe it was on another board that no longer exists? What is sad is how angry people get just because some of don't see a secret Russell Wilson about to take flight. And when the Buffalo Bills decided to not pick up the option the evidence is the Bills view Tyrod as a place holder, not a franchise QB. The Bills interest in QBs in the draft? Just a smokescreen so that another wide receiver or tight end drops to the Bills because we're gonna build an offense around Tyrod.
  20. Ok, that is fair. I have no issue with that. I personally believe Tyrod is at ceiling but I love the Kubiak/Shanahan offense and Dennison is a wild card.
  21. Yes, Tyrod wanted to start. The issue is why would he accept a restructured deal after putting up so many points (which we are told means he is a good QB)? I think there is a consensus here. Tyrod didn't play up to the contract he signed the year before and he decided he was better off here than elsewhere. There are a few people that don't want to accept that but you can only spend so much time trying to reason with them. It also brings out angry emotional responses (see above) for those invested in the idea that Tyrod is something more than he is, a marginal NFL starter.
  22. They want to explain away why he took a paycut when he was putting up so many POINTS. Problem is they can't explain why Tyrod took a paycut. Do you always struggle with words? Use Google.
  23. That's ok. Someday you might contribute something. Let us know.
  24. I take it you are very good at posting words with no meaning. Here, why don't you offer an opinion on football? You know that's what many like to do on this board. Go for it, I'm all ears.
  25. It's all about Process, Culture, and Earning the Right To Win.
