White House Press is reporting that an alien invasion this weekend is imminent. They believe the attack will begin with massive city sized space craft hovering over every major city in the world in a first strike capacity. Followed up by a full on land invasion. Hash tag diplomacy will continue....
Actually Will, we aren't sure President CDC has said we can do that yet.

Yep. They're guilty.
Irony here is he's describing the 50 people that watch his show.

8 QBs in the AFC going to be making 40 plus million a year by 2025
Mahomes
Allen
Herbert
Burrow
Jackson
Carr
Baker (if he resumes 2020 form yes he is)
Watson (if innocent)
Lawrence (I believe)
So will all their windows be closed?
The NFC QBs in 2024 making 30-40 million:
Dak
Wilson?
Rodgers?
Cousins?
Stafford?
?
?
And Wilson and Rodgers could end up in the AFC as soon as this season. I doubt it but...

The choice of the word "BREAK" automatically infers that we will need to wear them again in the future.
Yep...
So we need to pass laws to try and prevent Dems from going full totalitarian.
We did this in 1787 but apparently it isn't enough.
The exodus from blue states is going to be akin to the great migrations of the late 1800s. The exodus from the Democrat party is going to be catastrophic for them. This is their WMD only 100000x worse.

"Have the ability to reach for them again"
=
"In October, right before the midterms, when flu cases spike, we will blame the GOP, because you morons believe everything we tell you."
"As we have fewer cases, people will become more comfortable with taking off their mask, but we will certainly want people to have the flexibility to wear one if they so choose," Walensky said.
Metric = "when you are comfortable with case numbers"
Your feelings.

CDC wants to give people a break from wearing masks as pandemic improves, director says
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is reviewing its mask guidance, shifting its focus to Covid hospitalizations as a key measure of the severity of the outbreak and future guide for determining whether health safety protocols need to be tightened, according to the agency's director, Dr. Rochelle Walensky.
"We must consider hospital capacity as an additional important barometer," Walensky told the public during a White House Covid update Wednesday. "We want to give people a break from things like mask-wearing when these metrics are better, and then have the ability to reach for them again should things worsen," she said.
"Give people a break."

Move heaven and earth to get an elite DE on the other side of Groot and this team could be ridiculously good. Just like that.
Its either that or Chis Godwin. Same impact on the offense.
Those are the only 2 positions I'm breaking the bank on. And you can only do one of them.
I have no idea who this DE is or where we get him. So I'm leaning toward Godwin.
I'll save the justification for that in your WR breakdown.

Good Lord Florio. I just read the yahoo story I didn't see the pregame report Sunday. Not buying this at all.
The NFL is being charged (again) with essentially systemic racism by Flores.
Not a good look to be seen as ignoring his charges by not reporting on the developments in his lawsuit.
The NFL's legal team in response to a question about the league potentially being seen as "burying" all stories involving Flores and his lawsuit:
"Um......let's be a bit proactive here; just put all the reports on NFL.com. When this is over we need to at least have made it clear ANY talk of tanking is unacceptable and we will even force you to sell!" *Lawyers chest bump Goodell*
This just makes zero sense. When franchise resets happen you don't think it isn't discussed at all - draft position - it's not even mentioned "we're gonna suck in year 1, which is fine because the top pick is Joe Burrow. Hmmm."
Give me a freaking break Florio. Yes I do think it was probably a comment made as a joke because rich entitled out of touch owner gives zero f..s. And the very well respected coach says "yes I'm definitely in the right place with the right culture. This will end well."
100K for every loss. Lol yea Brian and I'm sure you weren't laughing it up to. Say the team goes 2-14. "Thanks Brian great job! Here is 1.4 million dollars - I'll send it to your venmo." Yea Ross was completely serious about that 100K - even if a joke in discussing #1 picks - you open up a massive can of worms on oh I'm going to guess around 15 to 25 GMs and maybe other owners to.

No.
And soon football - camp, preseason games, regular season games, playoffs - will take up 27 weeks of our time (18 reg season games 2 pre season and the SB ending Presidents Day weekend.
Add to those 27 weeks:
Beginning of free agency
The draft
OTAs
NFL Football will occupy a roughly solid 35 weeks of the year.
Goodell turning every part of the off season into WWE like events has been genius. The NFL is a well oiled money making machine.
That said, from weeks 1 thru 10 the officiating was an abomination. Whatever they did in December and January - do that all the time. That's the solution.
It's never going to be perfect but as they put the flags away you'll have heinous non calls like the Higgins TD. I'm perfectly good if after that play the following logical discussion happens...
Officials get together after seeing replay and hearing from NY: Fellas, bad non call. When the Rams need it, if it's even remotely egregious and in a big spot - gotta call it.
You get the holding call on Kupp.
Totally good with this. Becomes kinda like officiating in playoff hockey.

No need for nationalizing the banks when they do the State's bidding
No need to nationalize the press when they do the State's bidding
No need to nationalize the corporation when it does the State's bidding
Democrats. A hybrid of 21st century fascists. 20th century Maoists. And 19th century socialists.

Yes it's called analysis and critical thinking.
The left doesn't understand how this works.
WASHINGTON — President Biden said Thursday that American officials had not verified Russia’s claim that it is pulling some troops back from Ukraine’s border, and declared that Russian forces remain “very much in a threatening position.”
“An invasion remains distinctly possible,” he said.
Speaking from the East Room of the White House, Mr. Biden vowed to “give the diplomacy every chance” to prevent a Russian invasion. But he also vowed not to “sacrifice basic principles” according countries a right to determine the shape of their own borders.
He's going to save us all from WWIII. He's got this.

Surgeon General says daughter has COVID-19, wonders 'could I have done more'
"Staring at my daughter's positive test, I asked myself the same questions many parents have asked: Will my child be ok? Could I have done more to protect her? Was this my fault? In these moments, it doesn't matter if you're a doctor or Surgeon General. We are parents first," he wrote. (No he didn't)
"Parenting during the pandemic has been one of the hardest jobs I could have imagined. (He didn't add "We have made it worse") I have immense respect for the millions of parents who are grappling with the daily, exhausting decision-making that goes into protecting our kids' health and their education."
He also said he wished vaccines were available for children that age, but understands the delay.
"I wish a vaccine was available for my child and for all kids <5. It would protect kids and help parents. Unfortunately more data is still needed from clinical trials for the FDA to make a full assessment," he wrote.
"While our child will likely be ok given she's young and otherwise healthy, I know parents with higher risk kids may worry more. Few things are worse than worrying about your child's health. The more we all get vaccinated and take precautions, the more we can protect all our kids," wrote Murthy.

The Surgeon General should be given a "content warning."

No I do not. Same reason as DeSantis, they don't have that presidential persona, IMO.
I think Biden runs again. Not sure what GOP will do. Probably someone no one has thought about yet.
Then you're officially in the minority of Democrats
A MAJORITY of whom do NOT want him to run again - according to a CNN poll.
Unprecedented just one year in:
....a poll for CNN revealed that 51% of Democrats and Democrat-leaners don’t want Biden to run again in 2024, as the Daily Wire relayed.
Yes, that poll was conducted by CNN, the network that almost never says a bad word about Democrats. So the fact that a CNN poll showed that 51% of Democrats don’t like Biden means the actual number is probably closer to 71%.
Anyway, here is what CNN wrote about its own poll:
"Of those Democratic-aligned voters hoping to see Biden replaced on the ticket, 31% said it was because they didn’t want him to be reelected. Thirty-five percent said it was mostly because they doubted Biden’s ability to win against a Republican candidate, and the rest offered up other reasons for wanting to switch up the ticket — the most common (19%) being concerns about Biden’s age. (Biden will turn 82 in November 2024.)
There’s more.
“Democratic-aligned voters also aren’t yet gravitating en masse toward any specific alternatives: Only 12% of all Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters wanted to see a nominee who isn’t Biden and had a specific alternative in mind,” CNN wrote. “No individual candidate was named by more than 5% of those who didn’t want Biden atop the ticket.”
So apparently, the Democrats don’t know who they want. They just know they don’t want Biden.

"Gone" meaning reporting on daily cases of head colds won't be necessary anymore
But get used to it. Some fantastic history rewrites will be coming. It's unfortunate they'll have left a generation of kids unable to write.

Donald Trump: Ron DeSantis ‘A Good Guy Doing a Good Job’
Former President Donald Trump praised Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) despite several reports speculating on friction between them.
“He’s a good guy and he’s doing a good job,” Trump said in an interview with Michael Savage on Monday.
The former president reminded Savage and his audience that he endorsed DeSantis in the Florida Republican primary for governor when he was only getting single digits in the polling.
“Yeah, he’s good. I endorsed Ron when he was a three — three percent, you know?” Trump remarked. “I’m very strongly vested and invested in him.

Nolte: Poll Shows DeSantis Soundly Beating All Democrat Challengers
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) leads his closest potential challenger by eight points in the latest polling from Mason-Dixon.
The pollster looked at the three Democrats vying to face DeSantis in November and found none of them are even close.
Rep. Charlie Crist, who previously served one term as Florida’s Governor (as a Republican), loses to DeSantis by eight points, 51 to 43 percent.
State Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried loses to DeSantis by 11 points, 53 to 42 percent.
State Senator Annette Taddeo gets walloped by DeSantis by 16 points, 53 to 37 percent.
The poll also found that 53 percent of Floridians approve of the job DeSantis is doing, while only 43 percent disapprove.
This is a remarkable turnaround for a governor who, in 2018, barely eked out a victory against disgraced former Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum. More than eight million votes were cast in that widely anticipated election, and DeSantis squeaked out a victory by just 33,000 votes, or 0.4 percent.
Granted, there is plenty of time between now and November, but for a known quantity like Crist, a former governor himself, to be eight points behind… That’s a big deal. Another big deal is DeSantis safely polling over 50 percent against all comers, which is where an incumbent needs to be. As his own known quantity, people have made up their minds about DeSantis, and barring some sort of catastrophe or mind-bending scandal, are unlikely to change their minds.
By any objective measure, DeSantis has done a superb job of governing and growing the GOP. He’s basically Donald Trump without all the personal baggage and petty, ego-driven flaws.
First and foremost, like Trump, DeSantis is a natural leader — unafraid to lead and unafraid of a corrupt media eager to run him into the rocks of political destruction.

This appears to be what I'm reading.
The administration used that tool Nick Schifirin to report an imminent invasion that was never going to happen.
They reported that as late as they could Friday to not destroy the markets too much
Then claim de-escalation that was never going to happen - markets go back up.
They really hope it's his approval rating that goes up - he stood up to Putin he'll claim.
There was nothing actually happening

Trafalgar Poll: Republicans Show 12 Point Lead over Democrats on Generic Ballot
Republicans lead Democrats by double digits on the latest generic midterm congressional ballot from Trafalgar Group, as the first primary elections are only weeks away.
The latest poll from the Trafalgar Group revealed Republicans had a commanding 12 point lead over the Democrats on a generic ballot when the respondents were asked which party they would vote for if the election for Congress was held “today.”
The Trafalgar Group poll asked 1073 likely general election voters from February 2 to 6. The margin of error was plus or minus 2.99 percent, with a confidence level of 95 percent
Covid is going to be completely gone in 2 weeks.
