It was time two seasons ago to embrace Josh and get another outside receiver that could stretch the field and make contested catches.  One that can make catches that are routine.  One that can make catches when they aren't perfect too.  Its time to embrace Josh and realize that we need the skill players to out gun Mahomes.  That aint happening with the Sherfield, Harty's, Isabella's, Gabe Davis of the world.  Need a star.  A freaking star.  Not some role player.

Tyler Dunne did. He wrote a whole article that the Bills were trash and gonna miss the playoffs and McD is a football and real life terrorist.

Then it all blew up in his face and they rattled off 6/7 wins to take the 2 seed.

Must suck to be such a writer lmao

Whoo effing Hoo!!! The two seed! Aren’t we special. Kinda like that #1 ranked defense two years ago.

Time to change the suffix on your screen name. 😉

But, yeah, keep worrying about a clickbait monger saying nasty things and don’t worry about the man behind the curtain .

  3. I sentence is all you need.

We will never win a Superbowl with McD.

Piss and moan about Nasty T.Dunne and how he’s a big jerkface but he isn’t wrong because

We we will never win a Superbowl with  McD

This window is most likely closed which means this is the time to clean house. Josh needs to be #1 , not 1 of 53.

When we played KC we were banged up and they had a 2 day rest advantage. If we had played under the old format (6 teams), we would've gotten a BYE and had a big rest advantage.

So my question is which format do you think is better? The 6 team or 7 team?

I personally like the 6 team format better because I feel 2 teams from each conference should get a bye.

Super Wildcard weekend was Super Crappy.

It will never revert to the old state but I agree. It was much better.

  5.    I don’t see us ever trading him away. He IS the best Bills player ever already imo. Better than Bruce, OJ or Kelly. Already a HOFer.

I’m all up in my feels still about this season but I just don’t see us getting there with this coach so the Elway choice is the closest. But, can he last that long with his playing style?

Above is your original post...notice the bolded

In the bolded you just replied with here you seem to be contradicting your original post and now saying you didn't watch the post game presser.  So I don't get it, when was Allen "chill about losing"..."saying the right things"..."giving the right answers"..."wasn't happy but resigned to it"..."like a beaten person"...if it wasn't in his presser you now say you didn't watch?

I don't disagree that there shouldn't be a concern with major disappointing losses starting to become a culture and affecting the players to where they get almost numb to it. Heck I am practically numb to it at this point.  All of our playoff losses have been hard to take going all the way back to Houston even.

BUT...I don't know how you can say you saw any of that with Josh, especially now if you claim you didn't watch the press conference despite alluding to watching it in your first post.  The one player on this team you don't have to worry about is Josh.  He wants it as bad as any Bills fan and hurst just as much when they don't get it done.  And you can see how hard he was taking it to in the press conference you may or may not have watched.  I have all the confidence in the world in Josh's mentality and coming back as committed and focused as he always has been to winning the Super Bowl here.

    END OF SEASON Presser

    vs

    POST GAME Presser

with the link to said presser.

    Different pressers

Come on Brother Alpha, I shared an opinion. I don’t do the BS gotcha crap that so many on here do.

There is a massive difference at being mad a person like Mahomes was with the ref vs being devastated from something like a painful loss.  You seem to think anger is the only way to handle emotional pain or hurt.

I don't know how anyone can watch the game vs KC and the press conferences and see just how much this means to Josh.  I honestly don't know what you thought you saw or expected to see, but everyone else saw a guy who was taking the loss hard who wanted it bad on the field.  Then faced the press and had to field ridiculous questions about it right after while still processing the disappointment of what just happened.

    Again

I couldn’t/didn’t watch the post game pressers because of my own pain.

I am not accusing Josh of not caring. I am suggesting that he is starting to build an immunity to it due to recurring contact with it. He has carried the Bills for four seasons now, squarely on his shoulders. People( not me) are complaining he didn’t hit Diggs at the end instead of throwing it into the EZ. Have him and Mahomes switch places for that game and KC wins going away because Mahomes isn’t getting us those first downs and TDs with his legs by bullrushing.

       I blame this on Coaching!!!!

He is making various mediocre coaches look more capable than they are.

And THIS is why I dont care that Diggs skipped talking to the press.

Damned if they do, damned if they dont.

(not trying to call you out specifically, @Buffalo Boy, it just fit)

    Not a problem

My point is the effect of losing is having on him. I attribute this to McD.

I’m terrified that we are not going to get there in Josh’s career because of coaching malfeasance.
This window is closed. We are doing some semblance of a rebuild next year. Letting McD be a part of it is inexcusable.

  9. I watched Josh last night.

(Edit 2: I am referring to the End of Season presser Josh held yesterday.

I did not see the end of game presser because I was crushed, as usual.
The OP started a thread about EOS pressers. )

This is going to come out wrong and be taken to mean what I’m not intending but:

He seemed too chill about losing. He said the right things. He gave the right answers. He wasn’t happy but he seemed resigned to it. Like a beaten person.

Remember the anger on here for Mahomes’ act after the first loss. It KILLED him to lose against Josh/Bills in the end of a close game. He wasn’t supposed to lose!  Mahomes and Kelcie and Reid were NOT losing this game.

I think Josh is at the point of, What else can I do. Record breaking performances and they still beat us.

I can’t stomach to watch McDermott word drool into a mic. A pox on him and his process.

So whine and cry about it when they don’t want to? That’s just weird.

Expecting a public persona to fulfill their media duties isn’t whining or crying.

After the game, all the Cowboy, Panther and KC fans I know where on me like stink on a pig, getting their payback for all the shade I threw their way. I didn’t duck it but accepted it gracefully and like “ A big boy”.
Being hurt is understandable.Acting hurt and appearing petulant is a choice.

It’s just really weird to me why adults get all bent out of shape because someone doesn’t want to talk to the media. The same media that has made up lies about them for the past year. Most of the stuff that’s said is just coach speak that says nothing or what they already saw anyway.

It’s part of what is expected in his line of work.

-WC Loss to the Houston Texans.  We weren't ready.  Second half collapse, but Year 2 Josh Allen.  Not the end of the world.

-AFC Championship Game vs KC.  Defense was handed an early lead and proceeded to lay an egg.  But hey, we're making strides and weren't ready for that moment.  But we're on the right track.

-AFC Divisional Game vs KC.  13 seconds.  Abject failure that falls directly on the coaching.  We'll apparently never know where the disconnect was in those final moments, but ok.

-AFC Divisional Game at home vs CIN.  No show all around.  Damar Hamlin, mental exhaustion... ok.  Fine.

-AFC Divisional Game at home vs KC.  Defense is an absolute dumpster fire.  McDermott leading that Defense.  But we have injuries, so...  Spags had injuries too, and managed to make life difficult in that second half, but ok...

Playoff wins over Miami with a backup QB, Pittsburgh with a backup QB, Baltimore, New England and Indianapolis.

Every year, aside from 13 seconds, he's had a valid excuse.  First two years, building, making strides...

But then 13 seconds happened, and our Defense has been an absolute liability against the Bengals and Chiefs.

He gets next year, I'm sure, but there can't be anymore excuses.  Valid or not.. he's used all of them up.  We talk about needing luck yet NE ran the AFC for a decade + and now KC is doing the same.  It's not luck, as much as we want to pretend it is.  And when we watch Allen play Mahomes.. it's not the QB.  So what is it?  Rhetorical question, because we all know.. and he's out of excuses.  Valid or not.  You can't have one every year.

    McD IS The excuse.

    Schottenheimer 2.0

He can’t , nor ever will, win the big game.

Top 5 Paper Tiger Defenses that fold in the biggest games and biggest moments.

His teams , as a whole are mentally weak. They play to the level of their opponents with a slight negative outcome percentage. Hence losses to the NYJets, Denvers and other abysmal teams we lose to every season. When we get in the biggest games, we lose by just a hair, more often than not.

    FIRE HIS ARSE!!!!!!!

Yes they had injuries, but not nearly enough to excuse this level of futility.

They went in Defensively, resigned to the fact they couldn’t compete. Zero energy, zero want to….. just defeated.

From the Defensive Master himself? He will never win in a big game where the other coach is good to great.
    Josh is being wasted
