  1. You didn't watch mine and instantly posted another so ?
  2. We started talking about sentences and not arrests so I changed it to point to the topic at hand.
  3. You wanna spam post that some more? Hahahahaha
  4. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2020/06/20/ben_shapiro_debunking_viral_systemic_racism_explained_video.html
  5. https://www.npr.org/sections/ed/2017/06/18/533062607/poverty-dropouts-pregnancy-suicide-what-the-numbers-say-about-fatherless-kids Here ya go
  6. Drug arrests are generally those with a substantial enough amount to authorize arrest. So can there not be more drug dealers in economically bad neighborhoods? How is that racism? Again if you do not commit a crime you cannot be sentenced. Everyone knew in rochester all the crack houses were on smith Street. Smith Street was in a ethnically black neighborhood. Does that mean its racism they happen to be there to be easily caught? I'll tell you what does correlate. The fatherless rate on families is directly correlations to he chances of socio economic problems leading to crime and arrest. Is it one groups fault another is not raising their kids in un broken homes?
  7. I'm not. Statistics are on the cops side of why they did it. And I understand that. Majority of the time, they are probably right. I also was detained on my 27th birthday for not leaving the front of a bar while waiting for my friends. I had not caused any problems or started any fights. They were trying to clear the bar out on Monroe Ave. Cop told me to move. I explained it was my bday and I was waiting for my friends to come out so I could have a ride. He tole me again. I said what are you gonna do arrest me? Well he did. I sat in the car for 2 hours. Guess what I'm white. It happens to everyone. If I wasn't a smart ass prob wouldn't have happened.
  8. You do realize that they can pull you over for suspicion of a crime right regardless if you have committed one? I have been pulled over for being white in a black neighborhood in rochester before. Does that mean the cops are racist? Or that when they see a white kid driving down conkey that maybe he's looking for something he shouldn't be?
  9. Having an open container and not passing field sobreitary is not hacing a picnic. A report from a biased source.
  10. Ya a lot of fire there a lot of real evidence to support this. More like smoke. You don't get arrested if you do not commit crimes. That is what you all seem to forget. Again give me a fact this is anecdotal garbage.
  11. I got released at 4 am and they impounded my car and I slept on a porch in the middle of the winter.
  12. Show me a fact that supports this. Just because one group commits more crime and gets arrested for it doesn't mean it's racism. Show me a law that directly targets a specific group of people passed since 1980. Get your garbage politics out of here. Are there people who are racist? Absolutely. Are their isolated incidents? Sure there are. Is the whole country out to get people of certain groups? Your out of your mind. This country is so racist our last president was black!
  13. Happened to me as a kid at least 4 or 6 times. This BS race baiting division crap needs to stop. I blew a 0.0 when I got brought to the station and I was at the time making poor choices and I got lucky. It happens and I was in the wrong. Accountability is about decisions choices and actions not skin color. So sick of hearing these spoiled rotten athletes talk about could have been them and how unfair the US while they make more money in one year then most in their lifetime. Shut up and play the game and be grateful to the country that gave you this opportunity.
  14. Clearly he was treated unfairly by our justice system.
  15. Why do you choose to insult people because they point out a fallacy in logic of today's culture? Instead you will just hurl insults and slander. Please bring facts next time. And by the way soliciting a prostitute is illegal in most places. You go Champ! Be well.
  16. Must be institutional racism that made him do it
  17. There's your real racism folks. Any opinion that doesn't agree with this is labeled. The country ain't perfect. But the number one determining factor in peoples own fate is themselves. Unfortunately this society has degraded into not spanking kids, not teaching them about authority and negative consequences. Not valuing teachers and education. And then people wonder why they are poor? Trust me I know. I never made more than 18 grand a year, grew up in clothes from the salvation army. I had to decide to pay bills or eat. I couldn't go to the doctor. It was the choices I made as an adult that caused it to drag on into my twenties and thirties.Once I decided to make a change, get educated, things changed. And yes I got less assistance and almost none at all cause of my skin color.
  18. I guess the cool thing to do is throw shade on the NFL being so racist that the majority of their millionaires (players) are minorities? Oh my bad there's not enough coaches or gm's that are minorities also. No way they would hire the most qualified person. They don't like championships. But I guess hiring people on merit would be wrong. Thats prejudice. They should make hiring decisions based on skin color cause there's not enough of each kind of color. That's what true equality is? Dang they didn't want people to disrespect our country. The same country that has helped fund their business with our tax dollars and stadium deals. Thats so racist. Glad they got it right.
  19. It has nothing over what modern cars already have besides the interior upgrades. Waste of money. Probably because outside of the north east there is no reason to have one as there is no winter in Tampa Bay.
  20. Ya I mean I definitely got pulled over a few times when I was younger not as sober as I should have been, but I was also poor and had I had the status and money he has, prob be a different story. Especially with today's Uber and Lyft. It is so much more accessible not to take chances. The mistake is not a concern for his age. But he has to be more aware of his status and what is on the line for himself.
  21. PER ESPN: Police were alerted to Oliver's driving by a 911 call from another motorist, who reported a Ford Super Duty pickup hauling a trailer with a dune buggy on it through a 45 mph construction zone on State Highway 242, according to MontgomeryCountyPoliceReporter.com. The 911 caller noted that Oliver was "failing to maintain a lane and driving dangerously," according to the report. .......... Not smart. If your having issues driving straight after drinking, pull over and get out and call a cab. or a friend. Or shoot sleep in a bush.
  22. Is that the only war people have died in? Hmm there's an oathe they take: I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; So your snide or funny remark, whichever you thought it was, is really disrespectful. Cause the second amendment is what those people are swearing to protect. Among other things of course. And i think we all know there has been lot of war casualties since the revolutionary war... unless your delusional, then carry on. But I'm not gonna go back to this anymore. I'd like to keep this on topic. Arguing with fools only makes people from a distance see you as the same.
  23. The fact that someone chooses to use their lawful rights that many people have bled and died for, in order to protect themselves and their family/ or loved ones on a equal playing field to those that do not care and or abide by laws does not make anyone cavalier. Can we please keep the BS out of this thread? I mean the takes like "3 white cops pulled him over" WTF does that have to do with his actions that got him there in the first place? What about his own accountability for his actions? Or the loud mouth political agenda on people with guns are bad. This is a sports forum, and you do not have to agree. Do what works for you. But just like modern day america, just because your the loudest voice, doesn't mean everyone agrees with you. I certainly don't.
