  1. An interesting list. Only one Bill on it. Kiko at #49. Kind of surprised Mario Williams isn't on there. Otherwise I'm not surprised no Bills are on it. It won't let me link to it, but it's on Bleacher Report.
  2. I think it also shows he is aware of the schedule. Not all first half records are created equal. The Bills have had a very tough first half schedule and have a very easy second half schedule. One that gets much easier after Sunday obviously.
  3. Does he really have a strong arm? Didn't look like it at all to me against CLE. All you have to do is air it out once or twice to give yourself and your running backs some space. Thad showed that against the Bengals. His first and best game. Anyone have a link to a video of Tuel throws from pre season?
  4. If Thad starts, we win. If Tuel starts, we lose. That simple. You need serviceable QB play to beat a quality team like KC. I like how we match up against them and like the intangibles favoring the Bills for this game. But with no skill at QB, it can't be done.
  5. For two or three carries until he reinjures his ankle...
  6. The QB is only one part of the game, but not a small part. A big part. The biggest part. By far.
  7. Plus CIN torched us with screens. You'd think the coaches would have been paying attention.
  8. I agree that the Chiefs are not the Saints. Unlikely they put up 30 points. But they also don't turn the ball over. Smith is a master at managing the game and protecting the football. My fear is that the Chiefs will only have to play safe, not necessarily well, to win. Hard to see how we score more than 10 points with Tuel.
  9. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that was his exact line. Are you....are you from the future?
  10. I said realistic expectations but I hope you're right. Between Stevie and Goodwin, he certainly has the personnel to get it done. Just don't know if he has the arm or the accuracy.
  11. With Thad doubtful and Tuel getting the majority of first team reps this week, it's fair to say there's a 75% chance that Tuel starts Sunday. What is a realistic expectation for how he will do against the league's best defense? My best hope for him is that he throws the ball almost never, only occasionally, and makes very safe passes like screens. If Spiller and Jackson can pound the ground and Tuel can avoid turnovers, we may be able to compete. Unfortunately I fear he will get picked off and/or strip sacked multiple times which is why I think a win would be improbable. Hope I'm wrong. Your thoughts?
  12. As a Tuel hater, I would be more than happy to be in the position to post how I wrong I was about him. I certainly don't want him to fail. I usually am a very optimistic fan and try to be objective as much as possible. Just haven't seen anything I like from Tuel and have no faith he is ready for this moment. I hope he doesn't have to play, or if he does, he proves me more wrong than I've ever been. I am not expecting that to happen though.
  13. The fact that most on this board and, more importantly, on the Bills coaching staff, believe that Tuel is a better option than Flynn proves to me that this team has been a loser for so long that no one knows how to win anymore! Trying to rant better here...
  14. There's a reason why I didn't call myself Right Tuel for the Job.
  15. None. He got signed with the thought he would be the 3rd QB and never even come close to game action for years.
  16. If the plan is to bring in Flynn, let him start. He has at least shown he can play at this level, even if it was only a fleeting demonstration. It's more than Tuel.
  17. Here is what Thad did. He got us to OT against a very good Bengals team and got us our first road win against a decent Dolphins team. Tuel had his shot! He knew the system when he got called into the game in CLE. Backups need to be ready to come in and perform when they get a chance and he failed in the most miserable way possible. He choked. He cannot play QB in the NFL this year. Clearly not ready. And if Marrone lets him back into a game this season, let alone STARTS him in the most important game of the year, then he's not ready for the NFL either.
  18. No no NO! Be honest with yourself, man! Tuel will do absolutely nothing on Sunday.
  19. If you honestly believe Tuel will lead this offense to a single touch down, you are beyond hope when it comes to delusional fandom. The guy simply can't play. Case closed. If he starts I would bet he will have more turnovers then completed passes and the Chiefs will score more points than Tuel will have receiving yards. He is not an NFL Quarterback. Maybe one day he can be. But not this year and certainly not this week.
  20. I am too depressed to even care enough to rant properly.
  21. I had previously said 20-16 Bills. In light of Lewis being listed as doubtfu, I will amend my prediction to 31-3 KC.
  22. The QB injuries are not to be believed this year. Thad listed as doubtful for Sunday. Basically conceding the most important game of the season. Usually a very hopeful fan but this is getting tough. Thought the team was going to make a statement on Sunday. Seems nearly impossible now.
  23. Declared doubtful. No QB named. Weekend ruined.
  24. Is Marrone smart enough to not have Lewis throw a pass in front of the media all week to cast doubt on whether he will be effective on Sunday? He certainly continued to gut it out all game last week despite taking the hit to the ribs on the first play.
