This will obviously be very interesting to watch next year based on the extensive discussion about his abilities over the years.
-
Jesus, losing a lot more than were picking up... Hopefully we have a plan
-
#Obviously
@viccarucci
How thoroughly have the #Patriots researched #Bills RFA WR Chris Hogan? Bill Belichick likes that he could be a backup punter. Honest!
They probably had someone scouting him at Shady's softball game... Where, of course, Hogan won the homerun derby because he's a freak at everything
-
We would receive no compensation as Hogan was an UDFA.
nope
-
Well if the media says it, it must be true. It's hilarious how he lacked leadership when he was a captain for us in 2014.
Can anyone find a thread where we were questioning Mario's leadership or talent after 2014?
I'm sure you could find those questions back in Houston.
You think Mario is a leader?
-
Positions on Hogan are well established on this board. I say he would thrive in NE
-
Please no. Would be a very good addition for the pats**
-
I'm more concerned about the Dolphins' offense than defense.
Yeah, ole Talleywacker really plays well against us...
-
Whatever.
If defensive genius Jim Schwartz really wanted Mario, they would have at least brought him in.
Instead, Mario is taking whatever is left of his talents to South Beach.
In the meantime, the Rex haters can continue to claim that:
(1) Rex ruined the defense;
(2) Jim Schwartz never had Mario drop into coverage;
(3) It is all Rex's fault that the highest paid football player in Buffalo Bills history decided to take the year off.
I can't believe the defense of this !@#$ing quiter on this board. !@#$ him, and the next ex teammate that I hear saying anything positive about him will be the first
-
I never once worried about his guy playing Miami. Now some folks think he is better than Mario. Man, this place!
Giants and Jags (at least) agree with these folks

So what are the odds we get Glenn and Gilmore extended into friendlier contracts for the year?
Is Gilmore's contract not friendly this year?
-
Incognito deal leaves #Bills with enough to pay draft class and have couple mil leftover. Teams usually save that for in season emergency.
I think a Glenn deal will free up a bunch more
-
Richhie Incognito three-yr $11.5 million Bills deal, $5.45M guaranteed, salaries of $2M, $3.175M, $6.325 million, annual $100K workout bonus
Wow, amazing deal. Basically a 2 year deal for about 2.7 per

it sure is a disaster. The biggest human rights nightmare domestically of our time
This. The destruction of families due to mass incarceration for low level non-violent drug offenses is one of the biggest tragedies of our time.

Damn, love me some Leo... Good luck moving forward
-
Amazing. I was watching live and saw him fall but didn't notice THAT...
-
Only been vouching for Lee for months. In this day and age of football you need guys like him more than Ragland. He is gonna blow up this combine
Yeah, we really need to add athleticism to our LB corps
-
#NFLCombine not over yet, but Noah Spence shaping up to be one of its losers --> http://bit.ly/1QlN82m
Good, maybe he falls
-
I have seen him make a lot of good blocks on punt return. I know that is not a stat on the stat sheet but it counts in my book.
He also covers well
-
Have you read Moneyball? Football is exactly where you should be using finance concepts, because the salary cap and limited talent pool cause scarce resources.
If you need a LB and a DL, and there are 20 good DL and 5 good LBs, by almost any rational measure you take the LB first and the DL second. That way you can get a good LB and a good DL. Doing the reverse will most likely get you a weak LB.
Problem is there might be a couple of those 20 that become truly special

Lawson looks like a 3-4 guy
@nfldraftscout
On my clock, three best 10 yard splits: Ogbah, Tapper (1.59) and Spence (1.62)
Lawson looks like what we've been missing. Get me Lawson and then a Billings/Robinson/Reed/Clark/Rankins type.
D fixed
-
They're not going to take a lower graded guy just because of depth at a particular position in this year's draft. This isn't finance...it's football. Wrong approach IMO.
All the DL 40 times are in our spreadsheet for your convenience http://thedraftwire.usatoday.com/2016/02/24/2016-nfl-scouting-combine-day-1-measurement-for-ol-rbs-and-specialists/
Agreed 100% Take the best player you can every round
-
Damn, Lawson ran really fast... I was hoping he wouldn't test well
-
Thing about Bosa. I'm watching him in the 40 and drills and he doesn't strike me as an elite athlete. Good player but not a great athlete.
I think he's one of those guys that are better with pads on

Wow, GOP trade talk is hilarious. Other poor countries would buy expensive US made products if only there were no tariffs!
