  1. I'm looking at the offense, as a whole. In the first 8 games, they averaged 26.13 points/game. In the last 8, they averaged 21.25 points/game.

Do you think the Detroit Lions have been happy with the best RB and best WR of their respective eras ... or do you think they would rather have had a team that won games?

I don't care if SamME Watkins' stats were pretty ... because the Bills' offense was inept and the (8-8) record showed it.

Oh, I thought you were responding to a post about the Tyrod Sammy connection... My bad
  2. I'm sorry that I want better than what we've been seeing from this team for so long. IMO, the Bills have not had a legitimate #1/2 combo since Moulds/Price. Their last year on the team, both WR's had over 1,200 yards receiving each. Having a legitimate #2 WR takes the pressure off the #1 WR, as well as opens up the run game. In that last season with Moulds/Price together, Travis Henry had over 1,400 yards rushing as well. If the Bills had a better option at the #2 WR position, you're looking at a possible 8-10 more TD's (which could of made the difference in winning a couple more games last year and making the playoffs), plus it would have opened up the run game even further.

So you're down on Woods and Price is your idea of a solid #2?

  3.

Take a good look at the current QB landscape. The NFL may want that kind of a wide open game, but they don't have the horses they used to have. There are only a few true franchise QBs left who can beat you consistently with their arms in the league and there's only one a couple of them under 35. The NFL running game is going to make a comeback. Fitzpatrick looking for 15 million a year should tell you all you need to know that the current NFL QB landscape is a black hole.

    It's more about the rules

  4.

Ragland is a man and Reed is a boy. This team has enough followers on it, they need a leader. Also, Ragland will be a better NFL player than Reed. I don't know how anyone could draft Reed over Ragland.

Don't agree. I fear Ragland is a throw back LB with limited athleticism. Not ideal for today's game. If we go LB I'd prefer Lee.

  5. I don't understand how anyone can look at our team and not see LB as the most glaring area of need for this team. Whether it's ILB or a pass rushing OLB, we need big time help at both. LBs are the heart and sole of any defense and historically all great defenses had at least 1 tremendous LB leading that D. We don't have any who are even close. We need to find that leader on D, Brown doesn't seem to be the answer. We already have 2 great pass rushers if utilized properly in Dareus and Hughes.

When watching Bama games this year I was always noticing Ragland making plays sideline to sideline and being that on-field leader. With all the talent on that defense and still being able to easily notice Ragland as sticking out as a great player, I have confidence that he can become a very effective player and leader for any defense.

Easy to make plays behind that D line...
