They obviously can't force him. I'm sure you know that, docso wait. he doesn't have the final say in whether he has surgery or not? the bills determine what he does with his body. do they sign the consent? is that in his contract?
and if so,, what does it matter what he wants?

I think it's interesting that we probably don't get him if he didn't have this issue. Maybe it's a good thing he had the injury. If he's a great player missing a few games his rookie year doesn't mean much

These are the worst kind of posts. Yes, the pass defense was pretty good last year. Yes, they still GREATLY underachieved as a unit overall. The two concepts are not mutually exclusive. In fact, it just goes to show how bad the front seven was when our pass defense actually exceeded all expectations and we still sucked. You could easily construct an argument that Rex "destroyed" our defense, absolutely. Look at the pass rush numbers. Would be just as easy for someone to cite them and make some snide "wait but I thought Rex was the best coach ever..." comment.

I'll go on record saying he makes an impact this year. People focus on our lack of pressure from the outside, but up the middle is the fastest way to the QB- especially when they get it out quick. This kid has natural interior rush ability. I think he also has the ability to line up in a few places

Mario is the sacrificial lamb to 2015s disappointing defense.
I agree with those that say he probably would've been gone anyway considering his cap hit. Still I don't agree that Mario was completely useless last season. He did his job in taking up blockers and stubbornly did nothing else afterwards as he obviously didn't like the way he was being utilized.
So he quit on his teammates? Huge loss...

I think it's very telling the lack of tears shed when he left both Houston and Buffalo. The guy is just not a good teammate.

Not a huge fan of Clayton, but there isn't anything he's said which isn't true. The schedule will be tougher and they'll be starting at least 2 rookies in their defensive front 7. Not to mention, Tyrod and Roman won't have the luxury of being unknown entities.
That's not a recipe for a playoff team in most cases.
Is it usually the unknown entities at QB that make playoff runs?
