  1. He never knew how to play. He was just a physical specimen.
  2. Can you fill me in on Bean’s history that you are referring to? Is it just Murphy and Benjamin, or am I missing someone?
  3. Didn’t know that I was in an argument. most likely, Ross stinks. I just don’t think that we know who he is for sure yet. And Dalton probably isn’t the guy to take advantage of his deep speed. who knows, maybe he clicks with Allen. Worth a late round flyer if they want to move him. A Corey Coleman like situation with boom potential if it works out. Any draft pick is an unknown anyway. With Allen, I don’t mind kicking the tires on world class speed at WR.
  4. Yep, Just like your boy St. Brown. Can't win them all I guess...
  5. I'd guess a 5th would get it done
  6. The only thing I can think of is maybe they are planning on signing a MLB and moving Edmunds to edge?
  7. I can't imagine a better fit for Allen's skill set.
  8. I didn't know it needed to be unanimous.
  9. DK was widely considered the top WR in this class prior to the combine. He’s not just a workout warrior. lot of hot takes in this thread. Limited route tree was a product of a basic Ole Miss offense, not DK.
  10. On his way to the hall of fame as well?
  11. I think he's basically unblockable from a wide-nine like position. So much speed and bend off the edge. And moves on top of moves. A refined rusher.
  12. You might want to check Tremaine's 2016 and 2017 stats.
  13. I just wasn't impressed when Gary actually plays football.
  14. Didn't see that coming
  15. I think the drafting of Allen and Edmunds shows Beane likes high upside athletes early in the draft. Metcalf fits right in.
  16. DK could have went to school on the moon for all I care. Putting this creature on the outside paired with Allen's arm... absolute boom potential. If he were a completely clean prospect, we'd have no shot at 9. Swing for the fences. I want to address tackle in FA. Interior OL in the draft. Top 10 pick should be Metcalf or one of the front 7 defensive studs, IMO
  17. He's a unique talent, for sure. Love how physical he is. Really has some nasty in him, loves to mix it up blocking. I don't think he has the best hands though.
  18. I’m not all in on Metcalf myself. Especially with the deep WR class, and all the front 7 talent at the top. On paper, it probably looks better to take Oliver or Wilkins or Ferrell or Burns, and then the best remaining WR in Round 2. Who’s ever left between Harmon/Harry/Butler/ or Ridley. But, if McBean thinks Metcalf is special, I’m good with it.
  19. Yep, it’s not an equal comp. but he has that upside. I like big upside in the top ten. Swing for the fences
