I have not read this whole thread but seeing as elway paid her son so much money isnt she insulting her son? If i am highest paid by such a huge margin shouldnt i be the one sparking the team.

I live in Miami....he did a lot with a whole lot of nothing.
Most of the people down here dont realize it...but he did a good job....
Now in terms of being a leader of men? Thats another story....
I live in orlando and my friends who Are phin fans blame him for tannehill- though i have never asked if they mean it as he should have jettison him years ago. Interesting what different people see.

I watch Jackson and i do not see anything special with his arm compared to Allen and i also see Jackson make a lot of dumb plays that he should not be making. I also think he has slow eyes but it is harder to tell in college.

I think Whaley had coaches that were not his choice forced on him. I also believe Whaley wanted to take a QB in 2017 but was overruled. I know he was high on several of them Trubisky and Watson to name two. I have always suspected that Anthony Lynn was his choice for HC not McD. It was also evident from the beginning Rex was not his guy.
I agree with this- DW liked to spend money on Dline and Rex needed LBs. They had different visions. I think it was Bill Parcells who said something like "do not expect me to cook the meal without allowing me to choose the ingredients".

I think the Chargers are a really good team, i like anthony lynn and rivers as people, and i simply think it is the team Belicheck does not want. Therefore i am rooting for chargers.

Allen at 32nd.
Scattershot accuracy
How could Jackson be higher than Allen as he runs and doesn’t pass well? I hope Josh stays motivated and crushes it next year.
The order is based entirely on his numbers over the whole year. I am as high on Allen for the future as about anyone but his first few starts were terrible throwing the ball. I know the little blurb is condescending but why let someone like this tool bother you with a one liner? In a few years we will be annoyed when he is ranked 4th and we think he is 1st.

The jets and fins game, if Allen plays that way, i think we win similar games next year for sure- i am not sure about houston but he has already improved so much since then.

I don’t play the what if game.
The results were the results.
Why do you even click on this thread then? Are optimistic people offensive to you?

I’ve gone with my then young boys for NCAA hoops, and went back for the Sweet 16 about 2-3 years ago. While I loved the hoops, it was great to just be away with the family. It can be a blast, but don’t count on the Pro Bowl providing quality entertainment. (We lived in Sarasota 18 years so were were there all the time, more for AAU hoops than Disney type stuff.)
Orlando can be fun even without the theme parks- but i have to admit the cost of almost everything has been shooting up lately. I hope yall come and visit.

I live in orlando and might go to a few of surrounding activities but game is boring according to friends who went last year. But come and visit our city- it is fun.

I think the biggest part of completion percentage is taking the 4 easy yards when presented vs continually trying for only 12+ throws. I think the Bills need a good OC to help him see why 5 yds on first down is good on a throw

Anthem drama, CTE news, oversaturation in commercials (dilly fuggin dilly, the Verizon weasel looking dude, and God friended me scar my brain) and the ****show that is nfl officiating all suck but... It's football. It's too popular and entertaining.
I agree with all of this and each one loses some people but i stopped watching this year because i expected the Bills to be bad and officiating was so absurd the previous year. Both i expect to be fully rectified next year and i will be back. I do think ticket sales slid this year which might be a hit in the pocketbook for teams but not one owner is selling.

I was happy when they got him and i am even happier today. So i went from a 7 to an 8 in the happy category.

Isn't this the dude that told a cop he was gonna nut in his wife's eye?
If this is true i would not want him for anything since anyone dumb enough to say that will most likely be unavailable at some point for off field issues.

Yep, proud of that guy, he is one tough SOB. He responded from the pick six and blind sided cheap shot with two TD drives. Glad we get another year with him as starter.
It was not a cheap shot- more than absolutely necessary but it was to a guy trying to make a play. It is same as logan Thomas on phins db.

I do hope we do not handcuff ourselves in the future with dumb contracts this year- i hope we move as many payments as possible into 2019 and allow savings into future.

This year i think Bama and Clemson are right now playing much better than everyine else and absolutely earned the shot at the title. I am still confused how OSU is ranked so high based on results on the field.

My mistake then- i guess i was looking for a debate.?

Any teams that can square off for 60 minutes of good football are aces in my book.
if it doesn’t happen it doesn’t reflect poorly on the team that won easily.
Row where did i insult LSU?- I said they were better today. I think they are really good team and did what good teams do- take advantage of the other teams weakness just as UCF tried to take advantage if their CBs.
-
LSU beat UCF and was the better team today. I give them credit that they knew how to challenge and stop Mack who looked every bit the freshman starting his third game. I am happy with UCF as they kept fighting even after making so many mistakes. I though must be satisfied that the NCAA recognizes their title last year.

I would do the trade but i know if it likely a rental so definitely not for anything more than listed.

My opinion based on yesterday is 3 major things- he has improved drastically in last 5ish games and looked like a real qb. He had one horrible throw which was pick 6, that play was awful. Lastly he needs some cohesion with recievers but he is getting much better at shorter throws. I think he will be all pro within 3 years.

C'mon man. You can't possibly be as naive as this sounds. Players don't choose their teams for the first 4 years of their careers. They get drafted. You sign with the team that drafts you or makes you an offer, or you sit home on your a**.
There are plenty of teams that are also-rans. They just may be hiring and firing people for reasons other than performance.
So you do not think players would avoid racist teams on their second and third contract? Your point on the draft while valid ignores how much control a player has later in his career over his destination. With the exception of Wilks- who i have no idea about- the other fired coaches all deserved it. If players start avoiding Arizona as a free agent destination i will believe it.
-
This conversation is so odd to me- if you as a player think a team is racist then do not sign with them. I would not sign with a racist team and i am white. Any team that fires someone for any other reason than performance will quickly be an also ran.
538: You ran the ball on first down. You’re already screwed.

I love stats but this seems empty of validity. The stats do not take into consideration anything about the make up of the team, the situations in which these calls are made, turnovers, field position, so many variables that i found nothing of interest here. It reminds me of the people who say you should always go for it on 4th since you have 60% chance of making it historically speaking- no context.
