I assume we go BPA at 9 and i do not think any recievers are even in that vicinity.

If the cost is anything near lawrence i do not want him- he is a nice talent but i do not trust him to keep up effort once paid.

I am not going real bold but i think if Williams drops to 6- he is only elite guy i think might drop- we trade up using our 3rd and 4th to do it. I otherwise think we are more likely to trade for picks next year than picks this year.

My only argument is that someone loves this kids- i can not imagine him lasting past 6 at the latest.

I had not realized the amount of signings and i am quite sure not all these guys make 53 man roster. I would bet at least one of OG is cut and likely a TE even without anyone else coming in.

I understand the bias toward players because they are Bills but even non bills fans love Allen and his attitude- he is fun to watch and clearly cares about winning over all else. I truly believe he won over many people this year with his play. In my small circle of friends they would all rather have Allen than Rosen today.
-
I do not think many people on here like Allen simply because he is a Bill and dislike Rosen simply because he is not a Bill. Rosen is very holier than thou and does not feel as a win at all cost guy. Allen is crazy enough and desperate enough to win that he hurdled a defender to get a first down. Allen might still not make as a real NFL qb but he reminds me of Favre and Rosen seems to be the opposite.

I have no clue what they are doing with Anderson.
I get the whole vet prep concept, but I’d be shocked to see him take a snap in a preseason game. He seems so washed up
They canned to guys who took him though.
Im not so sure what these new guys might know better.
All they need to know is that they have a guy they did not pick, better to live or die with your guy. It is like Fox when they killed off Firefly because it was the previous dudes project.

There is never going to be much of a trade market for a guy whose team is giving up on him in his second season. I know that’s not an original thought, but it does explain the entire Rosen situation.
I agree- the cards know him better than any other team and are already done apparently. Who wants a guy that was top 10 last year and already done? The optics alone make his demand low.

I am not sure of which exact game this is but it is absurd that he could make a pro lineman look that bad.

Some immediate one's that come to mind that haven't been mentioned.
-Flutie's naked bootleg for game winning TD against Jaguars.
-Carlton Bailey's pick 6 against the Broncos in AFC Championship game.
-Sam Adams rumbling into end zone on Brady fumble opening day 2003.
-Bruce Smith strip sack of Randell Cunningham
The flutie vs jax game is when i believed in him. He had to make a great throw to Eric Moulds to set up that play- moulds was not yet even competent- and the bootleg was a busted play. Flutie had an ability to improvise that few could.

i trust the process- because i have no choice- but i really trust them to pick a dude who will buy in and that is important.

I ask because I've been watching her now for a good 3 years, and NOTHING she predicts, says, or even comments on is accurate. 1st off, anyone who plays fantasy stay the hell away from any "analytics" advise Frelund gives you, and that's both season fantasy and especially daily fantasy football. She's total garbage, and her mocks exercises are not even worth the frequency bandwidth of hot air. Just recently she gives a mock for this years first round of not where she thinks players will go, but which players will have an immediate impact, taking into account what she believes those teams records will be for 2019. Um.. what? Why even bother, it's pointless, and zero football knowledge can be gleaned from any of that nonsense, and to watch the guys criticize her without actually criticizing her is laughable, makes me want to puke. Brooks just literally said that he agreed with Frelund that Haskins could be picked by the Pats at 32 and that (get this) Haskins is Tom Brady 2.0.... Yes he literally just said that!
My point, if not made abundantly clear, is, why is this women on TV talking about football like she's some sage of wisdom every week? Has anyone ever heard her say anything intelligent when it comes to football fantasy or predictive analytics? Anything?
Tim-
Dude she is hot- makes everything she says respectable to a certain segment of audience.

I was there for home opener weekend last year. Had a few beers with a guy hoping to get updates on the current local scene, where to go drink and eat, etc. Nice guy......who just moved there from Houston the week before. What are the odds? He moved TO Buffalo.
It seems you are thread lost. Your phone may have an app for that.
Seriously though, it’s weird moving to a new city in your 50’s. We usually met people through our kids schools/sports and work or church. Kids are passed that, and I’m not working any more. In a giant city, the people I did meet while working are almost an hour away. It’s a weird deal. But I have my Golden Retriever at my feet! Man’s best friend!
Houston to Buffalo is not a normal move- once you get use tp heat getting acclimated to cold is hard.

My first exposure to him was his total meltdown against Oklahoma State in 2017. I have seen him play a couple of good games since and come back to him a bit but that was so bad it is hard to get totally out of my head.
I saw the end of that game and he looked bad but no on his team helped him. I definitely though see where you are coming from then.

Grier lol
I assume you think Grier is not good-I watched him play about 6 games this year and all were impressive-did you see him stink in some game? I am not an expert but he seems like the most NFL ready QB-reminded me of Josh Rosen, just no concussions.

If Bills trade down I bet they get assets in 2020 draft- our first for their first this year and first next year kind of thing. We have a ton of players on roster already and I think they will be taking a long term approach here.
-
I want to call you crazy but there is a enough logic there that I will simply call you incorrect. Allen I believe would have improved similarly without being out for 2 months. Now if we draft an absolute stud with 9 I might have to revisit.
-
I skipped all of the comments and have only one thought- this article is made up and the writer knew he would get clicks. No one believes our biggest weaknesses last year are not improved.

Very good player. Not a great player, though. The great ones get sacks regardless of offensive scheme and regardless of who they line up with. He needs someone on the other side to bring pressure too, then his sack numbers will get back to double digits.
I must disagree- great ones make the D better whether he is one making plays or not. No single defensemen can be great without others doing their part.

...I'd fire whoever wrote that business plan in a nanosecond.......I'm a 43 year bean counter for multiple, successful companies and my sorry azz would be on the street for it....Jesus....
You do wonder what happened that caused this- what income did they expect that did not materialize? Or what was cost that suddenly shot up? I am dumbfounded. Also i have an in with the Apollos so expect a call shortly.

I am truly astounded at the fact that they did not have enough cash flow for at least one season. They had controlled cost from top to bottom at least for this year. I though was shocked when i saw the cost of tickets to the Apollos- some tickets were more $100 per seat which is more than UCF gets for same seats.

I don't really care who it is, but my guess is the Jets.
Some national interest, good game to start the year for broadcast numbers, rivalry, young QBs, etc.
I think this or the browns for all reasons listed- our D vs the new Browns offense wpuld be an easy sell.

The fact that you’re shocked is an indication that Gore was never that great and that his numbers are largely a product of longevity. Gore has had one really good year and that’s about it.
You and i will have to disagree- if you end up top 5 in total rushing yards without having an incredible offensive line and also have 4K in catching makes you great. I would not have had him my top 5 during his career period much less top 5 all time is stats.
Clowney and the Texans are still far apart.

I know you are being sarcastic but there are only a few players i trust to keep up the effort like hughes- who cost half as lawrence- and i will admit i did not trust hughes at the time to keep the effort high.
Well it certainly does make me confident!!
