  1. Really? For some reason I thought he came in during the middle of the season.
  2. QB Craig Nall, T Terrance Pennington, defensive end C.J. Ah You, cornerback Eric Bassey, fullback/tight end Brad Cieslak, wide receiver Jemalle Cornelius, offensive lineman Corey Davis, offensive lineman Christian Gaddis, linebacker Kevin Harrison, safety Trevor Hooper, wide receiver Justin Jenkins, defensive end Corey Mace, wide receiver Scott Mayle, offensive lineman Nevin McCaskill, long snapper Mike Schneck, tight end Derek Schouman, wide receiver Jonathan Smith, defensive back Riley Swanson, linebacker Thaddaeus Washington, and running back Shaud Williams. http://www.theindychannel.com/nfl/14029837/detail.html I forget... who was the 3rd string QB in 2007? Man, so many familiar names. Some players seem like they are in camp every year only to be cut again.
  3. I don't see this on his twitter.
  4. I think 9 LBs make it. Ellison and Moats both make it with Coleman and Woods getting cut.
  5. Well he did say that he learned a lot from T.O. last year. He looks like he has a lot of talent, but where's the improvement? What's the point of him making it as a 6th WR? He'll be inactive every game and won't use the practice to progress, just like last year. If you want to keep a 2nd round pick who has never lived up to his potential, we already got the better version in Chad Jackson.
  6. The AFC East is a tough division for tough people.
  7. I thought the word was that Modrack wanted Cutler but someone thought that JP could get it together.
  8. Miami sure is unfamiliar with it...
  9. T. Edwards 13/17 153 9.0 1 0 122.9
  10. He's already made the team. He very well might be the 4th WR.
  11. Can someone explain David Nelson? How can a WR this polished go undrafted?
  12. Bell has been unimpressive today.
  13. Jackson sure has been quiet today. One dropped TD pass from Fitzpatrick and that's it.
  14. No, there's two important values: (1) what it is worth to you and (2) what you could sell it for. #2 being worth more than #1 is why people sell things.
  15. For all those proposing an extra bye week, the NFL actually tried that in the 1990s. For whatever reason, the players actually seemed to dislike it. I recall Troy Aikman complaining on ESPN about how it messed with their momentum.
  16. Same rules apply to preseason games as do for regular season. Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse are all hit.
  17. For some reaosn, I thought you'd be a big fan...
  18. Yeah, I think Brian Galliford has also been noting that Bell is awful on special teams coverage, an area which is of concern for the Bills this preseason and where the 4th RB is more likely to contribute. This problem could of course be solved by trading Lynch...
  19. Yes, between Fitzpatrick and Brohm. But Fitzpatrick was like this last preseason and for much of the regular season as well. Trent would look better in a lot of ways, but then Fitzpatrick could actually put points on the board. Tim Graham was making the same comments about Fitzpatrick's passing looking ugly in camp last year as well.
  20. I think the played with a lead thing is a fairer point. They certainly were conservative with Brohm in there last night.
  21. I am not knocking Brohm. I was impressed with his performance. I just was surprised that they did not score a TD with him in there. He was moving the offense well otherwise. But, to be fair, Brohm had some opportunities where he didn't convert. The failed screen to Simpson might have produced something, for example. That's not to say that these mistakes were unusual for a pro QB or anything. My main point about Fitzpatrick is that he always looks so awful out there but then all of a sudden the team starts scoring and you're like, huh, how did that happen? This is not just this preseason but last preseason and many regular season games last season. I favor Brohm over Fitzpatrick, but I wonder why Fitzpatrick can make things happen.
  22. It's like this: You watch Fitzpatrick and it won't be pretty and the team scores, but you don't know exactly how it happened. You watch Brohm and he looks really good, but then the offense doesn't produce and you don't know why.
  23. Simpson seems like someone who might struggle against a first team defense. Shaud Williams looked fast and shifty in the preseason too.
  24. LOL! I was just thinking about TRAVIS Brown, Tasker!
