  1. They are heavy at LB and S. I think that's where further cuts are made to get an OL or TE from the waiver wire. 1FB is not surprising, just pointing out how few big guys who block we have.
  2. Only 8 OL, 2 TEs and 1 FB??? Depth chart is updated: http://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart-list.html
  3. How can someone like Jackson look so good in pre-season and not make it? If Gailey praises you towards the end, you probably won't be making the team. (See comments on Brown, Bell and Jackson.)
  4. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3/Bills-release-19-players/b3b9a2bc-3bca-40a3-9ac1-92ee562ecd4c
  5. So Coleman, Moats and Ellison all made it?
  6. I can't believe Jones was kept over Jackson.
  7. DeSean was also drafted that year. Everyone was worried that we would pick another short WR...
  8. Maybe we should just stop drafting WRs. UDFAs seem to work out better.
  9. Calm down. I was never really sold on JP and am not necessarily sold on Trent. But Trent has simply outplayed Brohm. Brohm had to play with the second string, but he also got to play against the second string defense. Fitzpatrick also was in the same position and outplayed Brohm. If anyone has a better claim at first string, it is Fitzpatrick. If you want to move up to the first string, you have to play very well with the second string. Brohm hasn't done that. It is his own fault that he has not played his way on to the first string. Trent Edwards had to do this and did back in 2007. It is not as if Trent is some 35 year old vet. Brohm came in the league just one year later. I would love for Brohm to live up to his original potential, because I am pessimistic about our QBs, but I am beginning to doubt that will happen.
  10. Based on the preseason, Trent looks to have a far brighter future.
  11. There goes our Tyler Thigpen dream
  12. Is it just me or did Simpson outplay Bell for the final two games?
  13. I saw the link to the post, but not on his full page.
  14. The use of "but" is the key.
  15. I think it's pretty clear that the OP is referring to what the person says in the linked article.
  16. I think it would be a mistake to let McCargo go. He keeps showing flashes of being able to dominate.
  17. The surprise cut is usually someone signed to the team as UFA (Rhodes, James) or some starter who is looking terrible and is expensive (Walker). I do not see any likely candidates this year.
  18. I am surprised there wasn't more coverage of the Bills beating the Dolphins since the idea is so incomprehensible now.
  19. Fast Freeddy was like our own little Percy Harvin.
  20. Maybe it's because I don't have an account on twitter?
  21. Link to the tweet. Maybe I don't understand twitter, because it's not on his main page. http://twitter.com/nyce18/status/22973347410
  22. To be fair, it's also possible that he removed the tweet.
