  1. It's pretty easy to see a militia of yellow shirted men running down an aisle to stop a fight. But I suppose youre right -there could have been secret fights at other stadiums.
  2. Not I. And I think most people would have went for it as well. It's funny, if you go to the Panthers forum on their game thread they called it 10 minutes before it happened. They said they have to go for every 4th down or their defense WILL let the opposing offense score and win. Their offense was gashing us on 5 to 10 yard runs. No way we stop them on that 4th and I. I'm happy they didn't go for it. But it would have been the right move.
  3. No, what I'm saying is that you can't use YPC as an indicator of whether a QB is checking down or not. That's what I'm saying. Because YAC muddies the water. I'm saying you used a faulty argument. Right. That'll take a day or two to update for the week 2 games.
  4. I was in section 118 and saw a Lady Panthers fan get punched in the face trying to defend her boyfriend. Some real cowards out there. It happens at some stadiums. Not all. I've been to many stadiums where NOTHING like this happens.
  5. I do. I just worry, given the Bills past QB's, that he never grows out of it. I'm hopeful though. Very good point. YAC is NOT a bad thing. But if you have a lot of it, you can't use the average yards per completion as an indicator of a QB's willingness to check down or not.
  6. Yes it can. But not to this extent. QB's who are throwing 10+ yards downfield regularly won't have as much yards after the catch. Sometimes. But I think often its the safety valve for the play. The last read. If the preferred routes are covered, you have to throw the ball somewhere. At least thats what I've always been taught.
  7. Carolina's secondary is the worst part of their team.
  8. I was at the game. Yes I watched it. Also watched it again on NFL Game Rewind when I got home. One of my biggest pet peeves is when QB's do this. He needs to get out of that habit fast.
  9. Look up the yards after catch. You'll learn something.
  10. How so? I never said EJ cost us any loss.
  11. The ST did. So did the offense. And the defense. It's not black and white. You can say any of them caused it and you would be right.
  12. I was guessing 3,000 missing as well. The corner upper decks as usual, a little in the endzone club seat level and even a patch in the lower bowl. And the Paul Maguire and Van Miller Club were literally HALF empty.
  13. I agree. It's incredibly not uniform. Keep endzone rules consistant.
  14. Great post as usual. I still don't understand that rhyme crap you do in the middle of all of them, it kind of interrupts the post and literally has nothing to do with anything. That being said, it's your thread and I'll shut up.
  15. Another poster mentioned this but I believe Fred purposely dropped that pass in the game winning drive. He's a very smart player.
  16. Alright man, I don't wanna argue. We're both Bills fans and today was a huge win. Lets enjoy it. GO BILLS!
  17. Dude he routinely didnt throw to wide open receivers and instead opted for safe short throws instead. The times he did throw long they were WAY overthrown. He missed TWO touchdowns because of overthrowing WR's. He also had a horrible INT, fumble and almost another interception. Not to mention he checked down over and over and over again. That's not a "few" miscues. Read the game thread. People over and over again were talking about how bad he was playing. If you want to insult me, then come at me with some facts. Not bull ****.
  18. I never said that. I only said what he has to improve on. He definitely has the arm. In pre-game warmups he was slinging 40 hard passes with the flick of his wrist.
  19. Chandler is not cutting it. That's for sure.
  20. Agreed. I think his issues are very coach able. He definitely needs to work on his long ball as well.
  21. He checks down a lot, and sometimes he does it very quickly. Hopefully over time that will change.
  22. Another poster who was at the game mentioned this in the game day thread. There were WIDE open receivers he didn't throw to and instead checked down to the flat or RB's. He missed a wide open Chandler for the TD on the first drive. He overthrew Stevie as well. He had the fumble. He had the horrible interception. And he had another near INT as well. He played for poorly for 58 minutes. If you disagree with me, that's ok. We have different opinions.
