  1. Well, the Bills gave up 3 draft picks to acquire Cassel, so I don't believe they will cut him. He brings veteran starter experience and he got to learn from a future HOF quarterback.

Doubtful that they will get rid of E.J. due to cap reasons. Plus there is a chance that he may develop and win the job outright. The only possibility would be is if he were traded. Most likely candidate to not make the team but the chances are low, IMO.

Tyrod is the unknown by many, but he was hand selected by Rex and has been not doing any worse than the Cassel or E.J.. Whether or not that says a whole bunch remains to be seen but that's a different conversation.

IMO Simms ends up on P.S. and will be available if called upon. Of course this is all just my opinion.

  2. Maybe Shady has already called Chip and spoke to him. Maybe he has already "manned up" and taken accountability for his comments directed at Chip. It's quite possible that the situation has been handled in a more private manner and that Chip and Shady have put it behind them and that's why he doesn't feel the need to explain it to the media. At the end of the day, Shady doesn't owe anyone an explanation except to Chip. He certainly doesn't need to make it public and keep drawing attention to it. I'm sure there would be a number of ways the media could spin it, if in fact it became public knowledge that the two had spoke. IMO, it's time to move on, done and over with.

  3.

BTW i never disliked Nate. I think he still has a chance for success, in a better environment of course ! Its a small world , the NFL coaching realm. Nate is now IN.

thats a good thing for him. His association with Douger, not so much.

The Marrone / Hackett partnership is not much different than the Ryan / Thurman / Pettine partnership. While Thurman / Pettine is / was carrying the title of DC, Ryan is the mastermind behind the defense. Same with Hackett, Marrone runs the show. Without Marrone, Hackett would be unemployed. It's just unfortunate that Hackett ended up with Marrone as his security blanket, if the reports were true, that Marrone essiantially handcuffed Hackett. My personal feeling is that he could make a good OC one day, if he can break away from Saint Doug. But either way, right now he is stuck with him for better or worse and he has to play puppet.

  4. He's a guard- learning the new system is great and all but if a week in May in shorts and a t shirt is make or break in that process, things were horribly wrong before the camp even started.

So because he has a job in entertainment we should be worried..... Because without worry what's the point?

There's plenty of topics we could discuss that are more educational, relevant, or interesting.... But omg Chris missed practice tends to be easier than anything else. So there's that.

Concern themselves with it and worry are 2 different animals. It's part of the industry. Year long reality show. Adds subplots along there way.

  5. I'm on the fence, part of me wants Brady to sit because that gives us our best chance at winning, and at the end of the day that's the ultimate goal. The better their record, the better the chances of the playoffs. If the Pats** don't have Brady, I am sure everyone can agree that the chances of success for the Bills are much better.

But part of me wants him to play because of the whole "Brady wasn't playing that's why the Bills won" aspect. I do not want to give those slimy Pats** fans a "way out" with excuses why they lost. I know that no teams hold back when the Bills starting QB is out of the game, but the Bills are typically expected to lose anyways. So it's No big deal when they do. On the other side, the Pats** are typically expected to win, same thing, No big deal when they do. When they do lose, it's more of a big deal, especially if at the hands of Rex Ryan and the Bills. I want Brady to have to be a part of all the criticism that will surely follow now that he can't "manipulate" things to be in his favor.

  6. IMO, it was more about the Richie vs. Martin saga. I just tuned out the fact that he was trying to trash Wells and listened to it with the perspective of gaining more insight on the whole R.I. / J.M. situation. Actually it sounded pretty positive for Incognito. Hopefully he can return to form because it sounded like he was a great teammate.

Think about it, what gives the NFL a bigger black eye? Guy who can't handle the pressure of life while in the NFL and contemplates suicide, or locker room bullying where 1 person takes the fall.

  7. I think Graham is moving to safety and they will cut either Meeks or Rambo. I think the 7th round WR Lewis will be PS or IR. O'Leary will prove to be so unathletic they will let him go too.

I think they keep at least two UDFA - an OT and Reed. Then it will come down to Tarpley vs. another LB or even Easley for the last spot.

Regarding your opinion of O'leary, so far it sounds just the opposite. From everything I've read about him is that he is quite athletic and an old school TE. He just does it under the radar so to speak. I thought that it was quoted in an article that he has great hands and he can stay in and block very well.

  8. IMO, that Moment hasn't arrived yet. Our 9-7 record last year was a reverse mirage of the previous years where we routinely snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Were it not for being the undefeated 'champs' of the NFC North, we'd have sucked like every other year this century.

Now, can/will that 'moment' arrive this season? Ans: if we're 2-0, THATS the Moment!

So the Bills beat Green Bay, Detroit, Chicago, and Minnesota, but you are saying if it wasn't for those wins, the Bills suck? But they didn't lose to those teams, so I don't get how you can take those wins away from them. To try and prove a point? Had they made the playoffs, I wonder if you'd still be trying to discredit those 4 wins. The Bills are a team on the rise. Getting better each year as they go (finally). They aren't at the top yet, but to take anything away from them to play the "what if" game in order to say they are as bad as always, IMO, is just not fair.
