  1. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/11/chandler-jones-i-want-to-go-to-a-place-that-maximizes-my-talents/
  2. Plus I don’t know if he harbors any pettiness for the pats/bellicheat but he may like to face that a couple times
  3. He added two guards who played for Kromer in FA. The draft pick would not need to replace DW at least not this year. DW played ok, not great, at RG. His best trait is his versatility to step in at RT when needed. But there is no guarantee that he will take a pay cut
  4. I only see 2 real contenders there… and I think the broncos #1 target is von Miller
  5. Akiem Hicks in FA is another. His presence alone could help our young edge rushers take another step in their development.
  6. Quinn had a very good year last season. Bills were interested last time he was a FA
  7. Were all the drops catchable? Could he perhaps be better with a better QB and at TE 2 vs TE 1?
  8. I didn’t say they should be optimistic. I said it was a new regime. Could be good or bad but it’s not the same.
  9. No thanks on Arob
  10. Knox said engram was one of his mentors at ole miss when he moved to TE. He never played TE before he got there. I like it. JC Jackson is going to be a charger I think
  11. They absolutely need to address pass rush. This was not the way. Even if they wanted to. But it is the way for a desperate GM for a non playoff team with a Qb on a rookie deal who has to make the playoffs in a brutal division and build a fan base, in the same city where the other team just won the SB.
  12. The Bills could not have done this trade for a 2nd and 5th. The Bears aren’t the Bears anymore they’re the Chiefs/Colts at GM/HC. They are tearing it down and completely rebuilding, and wanted to offload the entire contract because they aren’t a playoff team and mack isn’t getting them there this year or next.
  13. The fact they were not in on this price is because they weren’t able or willing to take on his entire contract and The chargers were. 3 years 63.9 million.
  14. They gave up less because they absorb the contract. If the contract wasn’t structured that way it would have been more. The Bills could not have absorbed the contract and could sign another DE like Chandler Jones for a contract they can structure to fit their cap in FA and give up nothing. It’s a deal the chargers could do but most could not.
  15. Bears have a defensive HC and gave him away. The chargers had the worst Defenses in the league last year and had to do something that GM is on last legs
  16. They have a ton of cap space which enabled this Sucks for chefs
  17. And he has a no trade clause. He would need to want to go there.
  18. They will need to sign a depth player like this either way - whether it is him or someone else. Might as well sign the guy who already knows the ST scheme and offense. I’m not sure why he’s considered pricier than another player.
  19. Maybe they will end up doing that job. The team needs 90 players. They aren’t all going to be starters and rookies.
  20. I mean I think he still owes the position group his share of the $ for Chad Hall’s truck a couple Christmases ago when he got cut on Christmas Eve
  21. I doubt he’s making big money.
  22. Money and a chance to play. He may not be assured a starter spot in NYG for example but he has a much better chance to play there than here. Plus bills won’t pay him near what these other teams will
