  1. 90. They need 90 players. He didn’t make the team yet and if he does, it’s because they need him.
  2. He’s only Rick in Buffalo. If he goes to the Bears it goes back to Ryan.
  3. They need speed at corner. He runs a 4.68. They were never going to pay him more than the little monetary value they’ve placed on him since day 1. Hyde and poyer make him look better than he is. They cannot continue to see him lag behind tyreek and waddle 2x a year. He could be a depth player but again he wanted paid. Can’t blame him.
  4. What that means is they are paying out more cash. It doesn’t get you into a bad cap situation.
  5. They wouldn’t get a Hill return so moot point but just pay him regardless.
  6. That’s not arguing - that’s exactly what I’m saying. Whaley didn’t know the cap stuff and leaned on overdorf for that stuff. Beane does, that’s his area of expertise, and overdorf just works for him in that space.
  7. He is here but Beane is a “cap guy” as in that is the meat of his FO background. So he works for Beane, but Beane is likely very involved. In the past for example a GM like Whaley, who came up the ranks with a heavy pro scouting background , overdorf really had a lot more to do with the cap because that’s his role and Whaley had to lean on him.
  8. They are just for fun.
  9. Man that’s a name I haven’t heard in awhile (Littman)
  10. Whew! Now he can do his press conference tomorrow
  11. Probably waiting to see if anyone will sign him to play RT Well he’s an RFA so he could have penciled him in if he wanted to.
  12. If they didn’t have any other plan B at RG and had him penciled in to start there, they certainly aren’t giving him the lowest tender. It should be, whether bates is here or not. They need to invest in young talent at the position. Bates was a UDFA I believe, which is fine.
  13. Yes, if they don’t value him at the same price point as the Bears. Also, his OL coach the whole time he’s been here is now gone, and that could be factor in what route they take.
  14. He never saw the field until the Bills were out of options last year due to injury so I doubt he will be handed the starting RG job, but as we still need to add upwards of I think 30 or so players and Beane loves his off-season ritual of hoarding OLinemen I expect at least one will be a OG. And there is Ford who will be in the mix to compete there at least early on.
  15. He would be wise to wait. The market will only get better.
  16. I hate to be all about business as I’m sure Rick is a nice guy and all but I doubt Josh has a strong opinion on this, and would leave it to Kromer. Right now Bates is simply depth OL, he would compete for RG in camp.
  17. That’s one reason they get 5 days. He can create the space of he wants to. I bet he won’t though.
  18. Browns are saying they knew about this before the trade but I don’t believe them. It’s not a “new” complaint but I doubt they move forward if there is still a possibility that he could go to jail.
  19. Could still be indicted apparently He’s in berea today taking his physical
  20. I agree with all of that except for hanging on to him until someone goes down in TC, presumably to help with the trade value. They really cannot have him around the team or have him co-existing with deshaun. He needs to be dealt by the time the team starts up OTAs.
  21. Jones, Shaq and Crowder all had media sessions today and everything got overshadowed by the Tyreek Hill trade. I will pull some of the quotes
