What’s the biggest difference between Tyrod and those 3? I’m not saying, I’m just saying...

The difference is those 3 teams are loaded with All pro/pro bowlers all over the field. Its not even close how much better those teams are.

The Bills ended the drought in spite of him not because of. Besides Cinci and other teams was one of the big reasons it happened. All it could have taken was one team to change that drought end, lucky for us it ended but Tyrod did not end the drought, our team, coaches and other teams did that IMO.

So its a team effort when they win, but his fault the 2 years prior when they werent? 2 prior years the Bills were in the top ten in scoring, yes the run game really helped there. But having a qb that doesnt turn it over leads to more scoring opportunities... Other teams have made the playoffs with equal or lesser qb play ex the jags, but built a very strong team around the QB..TT is good enough to be a starter, and with Cleveland has a strong chance to lead them to the playoffs. Grass isnt always greener.

One read always picked running over throwing. Never once heard him blame himself, throw the dam ball. Run Tyrod run. Make him be a QB. 3 and out. Non existent in most real big games. Threw the race card when asked what the problem is with why fans are not supportive of him enough. He was chosen by Rex. Just my opinion

Ends a 17year drought. Wouldve made the playoffs both years with Rex if the defense was even average.

Fans will  want to jump that bridge for Darnold by the 3rd game.

Why does everyone hate TT so much.. Look at playoff teams this year. Keenum, Foles, Bortles, all 3 are just as good, maybe a little bit better than TT. Difference is those 3 teams overall are much better than the Bills.

Here's the thing.  I'm not saying he's a great prospect to be taking in the top 5.  I just think the desperation for QB's by

    Cleveland

    NYJ

    Buff

    Arizona

    Miami

    Possibly Denver

    Possibly NYG

LA Chargers - life after Rivers

    Steelers - Life after Ben

    Saints - Life after Brees

You have teams trying to set up for the future and some teams just needing a QB really bad.  They are going to overdraft.  If you have not seen this pattern in the draft when it comes to QBs I have no idea what to say.  QB by far is the most overdrafted position where guys go well beyond what their tape indicates because GMs believe that its the most pivotal position in the game so they will be willing to overreach.

With that many teams looking at the QB position there is no way he doesn't get taken in the 1st round.  But the supply vs the demand at the top almost solidifies him as a top 10 pick.

I understand what you're saying. But hes not a top 4-5 QB. Obviously this is largely opinion based, but from what I am being told, and what i've seen hes just not there. Too much work to be done to draft him that early. All he has is arm and size, he hasnt shown much of anything else

I don't think so.  I'm an Allen critic and I just think due to demand for QB's outweighing supply he will get overdrafted.  He'll go better than his tape says he is.  It happens with the QB position.  He's going in the top 10 if not top 5.

I live out of town I will buy you a large pizza and 20 wings if Allan goes in the top 10. Believe me its not happening.

Uh what?  Not my choice either but he's just about top-5 lock right now.  The OP isn't the only one projecting him as #1 right now, the buzz seemingly increased even more this week.

At best hes bottom of round 1. Guarantee he doesnt go top 10.

Dude.  He's going in the first round.  Look anywhere if you need evidence of this.

I don't care what any of these media types say. I listen to people that do the scouting for a living.

I would agree that CB has the easiest playbook to memorize but I would not say it is the easiest to master cerebrally

it is a very tough position mentally, much more than RB.

I have a lot of experience playing and coaching both and RB is way easier mentally especially when it come to film study...

As a corner I had to watch so much film to be prepared... what is the tendencies of the other team? What do they like to do out of the I or Bunch Gun... What route combinations do they like to run on 3 and long , what about 3rd and short... what do they like doing on 2nd down... #81 doesn't like press but 88 feeds off it

the preparation in the RB room was not as mentally tough. Sure the playbook was bigger but RB is a very instinctive position... you either are born with the gift of hitting holes and making people miss or you don't have it

a RB can almost get away with out watching film. There biggest thing is understand that weeks blocking scheme, and who the run game is attacking.  CB needs to study the WR for tells they give as to what route they may be running, where they line up may give away their routs. Need to understand that if 1 does this than 2 will do this. Doesnt take much football IQ to play RB. In fact its probably the 1 position where ive encountered the most players that really dont even like football.

I no nothing about college quarterbacks, scouts hardly know. But Mayfield is by far my favorite FWIW. Being undersized myself I'm really rooting for him. Sure it matters, for some people, just seems like the last tangible you evaluate when thinking about accuracy, arm, IQ, etc.

. Certain scouts consider size more than others... FLutie is a prime example. The Bills front office realized the dude could just play, and didnt care about his size. Overall Flutie proved them right.

  10. Football IQ is easily measured when they bring each QB into a room and get them on the board drawing up plays. They then go through scenarios, ex if the safety rocks down here who then becomes the 1st read. If this LB blitzes are you protected of is that the hot read. Scouts evaluate each QBs response thus determining their football IQ. Mayfield FACT had the highest.  Film shows how quick a QB processes information. Neither of these 2 scenarios are EVER released into the public.

Because they state them as if they're carved in stone, and that anyone who disagrees must be stupid.

As in Mayfield is the best and it's not even close.  I've gone past frustrated to just chuckling now

facts are facts Mayfield is the best QB. Football IQ, processing, are by far the best, those are facts not opinions.. Problem hes 6 foot tall. That will scare scouts and GMs away. Some value certain measureables more than others.
