  1. You know, I think that was a pretty good draft. Didn't the Bills draft Jeff Wright that year, too?

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Arizona Cardinals are moving their training camp from Flagstaff because of a virus outbreak on the Northern Arizona University campus.

The team said late Monday afternoon no decision had been made on where the camp will be located. Players are scheduled to gather Sunday, with workouts beginning next Monday.

Team officials said they hoped to identify a new training site on Tuesday.

  3. I'm a big critic of WGR programming, but I give credit, when credit is due....

WGR has started an audio archive section on their website containing interviews from the previous days. Right now it is primarily Sabres, but I'm sure with training camp opening that their will be plenty of Bills audio.

PS You have to wade through some of their bad attempts at comedy. :)

  4. I was talking to a friend of mine who is a Pats fan yesterday, and we were talking bills/pats. So I say to him, "what time are the preseason games on the NFL network?". He says to me....I bet it's comforting knowing that the Pats are on in primetime and the Bills are on in the middle of the night.

Never thought of it that way and it struck me funny but hope its just the NFL network.

    :)

  5. Niagara Falls area, Devils Hole, or Whirlpool State park, access to the gorge (long walk down the stone carved stairs) as mentoned before.

The Naval Museum right behind the Aud, I forget the names of the boats, but tour the ships.

Bisons Baseball game, very kid freindly.

If you go to the Naval Park, take a walk through the Erie Basin Marina(it's right next door) before or after. The kids will love walking on the rocks and climbing up the tower at the end of the marina. Grab an ice cream for the kids and a cold beer for dad and you'll be all set.

  6. i wouldn't be shocked if we picked up two thirds as compensation for losing big pat and jennings........

    383960[/snapback]

Keep in mind that the compensatory picks are awarded based on the the performance of players you lost in a given year(JJ & PW) versus players you signed in that same year(Anderson & Holcomb. I'm not sure about Rashard Lee).

  7. In 1986, he became the oldest player to ever win The Masters. In all, he had 48 top-3 finishes in majors, including 19 second places and nine thirds, 56 top-5 finishes and 73 top-10 finishes. In 1998, at the age of 58 he finished an impressive sixth in The Masters.

I'm sure this could be looked upon as "why didn't he win more majors when he was that close". Instead, I look at these stats and am amazed that he could be that competive in the most pressure filled tourneys each and every year.

    WOW!!
