1. Mularkey needs to realize that McGahee is more important to this team than he is. Mularkey is a middle of the road (at best) head coach, who is easily replaceable. Not a great motivator, not too brilliant with the things he says to the press, and simply a puppet for TD. Willis, on the other hand, is a premier back in this league, who, if not made happy (as sh------- as that sounds) can EASILY be seen holding out next year.

For once, the HC needs to shut up, start coaching as if he had half a brain, and appease his star player (ie, get him the frigging ball!)

    450746

...and his "star" player needs to realize he needs to be a north-south runner. He doesn't have the speed ala Barry Sanders to get away with dancing around in the backfield and then turning it into positive yardage.

PS I wouldn't call WM a premier back in the league, when he has yet to start a full seasons worth of games. A lot of potential...YES. A premier back...let's see how this year plays out.

  2. Bledsoe is as Bledsoe does. <_<

    451035

There once was a man named Bledsoe,

his feet in cement made him so slow.

    He went back to pass,

and ended up on his a$$

as he cried, Please let me go to Montana!!

    :(

PS I'll never be confused with Edgar Allen Poe! :(

  3. This was probably mentioned earlier, but I will close with the "play-by-play" from DB's last two series...

    1-10-WAS48 (2:28) J.Jones right tackle to WAS 42 for 6 yards (M.Washington).

2-4-WAS42 (2:03) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to J.Witten. Pass thrown right sideline at the Redskins 35; Stoutmire closest defender.

    3-4-WAS42 (1:57) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to P.Crayton (S.Taylor).

    4-4-WAS42 (1:53) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass to T.Glenn to WAS 39 for 3 yards (W.Harris).

1-10-DAL21 (:36) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to T.Glenn. Pass thrown right sideline; Springs closest defender.

2-10-DAL21 (:32) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to K.Johnson (M.Bowen). Pass incomplete at the Dallas 43 left sideline.

    3-10-DAL15 (:26) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe Aborted. A.Johnson FUMBLES at DAL 15, recovered by DAL-D.Bledsoe at DAL 15. D.Bledsoe pass to T.Glenn to DAL 41 for 20 yards (S.Springs).

1-10-DAL41 (:26) D.Bledsoe spiked the ball to stop the clock.

2-10-DAL41 (:09) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to P.Crayton. Pass thrown left sideline; incomplete at the Washington 32.

    3-10-DAL41 (:04) (Shotgun) D.Bledsoe pass to J.Jones to 50 for 9 yards. Lateral to T.Glenn to WAS 43 for 7 yards (O.Stoutmire).

What a clutch player. I'm sure that during these two fruitful series that the fans were just glowing while talking about the ONE beautiful pass that DB threw.

    Strike three. BALL GAME OVER.

  4. OMG What a blowhard Sterling Sharpe was tonight for Moss.

I sorely missed Mike Patrick, Joe Theismann, & Paul Maguire tonight.

    445790

Except for Joe Theisman, I usually don't get worked up about any announcers, BUT.....what the HELL was ESPN thinking. Sharpe sounded like he was given about 10 seconds notice, that he was going to be the analyst on the game. Did they consider giving him a tryout using a previously played game. This guy added nothing to the game. HOLY FRIGGIN' LACK OF INSIGHT BATMAN!!!!

  5. Definitely a watered-down line-up. You surely belong, along with Spiked and Foxboro Mike.  :D

And if I'm leading off, I'd rather be Rico Campaneris... except my bat wouldn't fly over his head. :D

Thanks for your support. I knew I could count on you. ;)

I wonder who the opposing lineup should consist of? :P

  6. Anyway, here goes with the "hate" starting lineup:

    1) Rico, aka "Rico Henderson"

    2) ajzepp

    3) eball

    4) Pete

    5) Alaska Darin

    6) Joe Six Pack

    7) Promo the Robot

    8) mead107

    9) obie wan

    DH) Gavin

    bench warmer: cablelady

Perhaps we can convince ajzepp to persuade LanaK5 to be one of our coaches!  :D

PS: My apologies are extended to anyone who doesn't see this as a lame attempt at humor. This is NOT personal....just having fun.  ;)

I am offended that I am not in the lineup. I have been accused of beating a dead horse many times. Doesn't that count for something? :P

  7. Definitely Jones.  Jones has inflicted serious damage to the Bills & Bills fans, while Snyder is just an idiot, a laughing stock.

    447404

Excellent response, but from my perspective, it's a dead heat. Jones for owning the Cowboys while beating us in the two SB's and Snyder for being a condescending little prick who thinks he is better than the rest of the owners in the NFL. I'd like to see Ralph take a swing at him.

  8. Well, now I know what you guys were talking about. During the first week I listened for a solid hour to him and was thinking "this guy isn't that bad, actually I kind of like him."

Yesterday, I saw the light. Between him saying "fat ass lineman" 30 times, "you need to bloody TB's noses" 25 times and talking about the glory days in Buffalo at least 10 times all over a course of 20 minutes I had my share. He got so belligerant I shut it off b/c no one needs to listen to overreactive drivel.

I'm starting to wonder if the guy is bipolar. Needless to say I won't bother turning him on next week. My suggestion? Broadcast another game after the Bills game. Or even have Bob Lonsberry talk about the game, at least the guy has a slight grip over his emotions.

    446250

Like I said all along...he builds them up early in the year and then slams them the first time things go south. Sort of like this board.

  9. Everybody thought Tampa's OL was supposed to be pitiful this year, yet Cadillac has gone 2 for 2 in terms of 100 yard games. On the other side of the coin, we have one of the top OL coaches in the NFL and have what appears to be on paper an OL that should be successful in the run game. Here is Tampa's starting 5...

    LT 69 Anthony Davis

    LG 72 Dan Buenning

    C 76 John Wade

    RG 79 Sean Mahan

    RT 67 Kenyatta Walker

  10. As I continue to be disappointed by the lack of holes for WM to run through, I was wondering who is it that designs the blocking schemes for each play....McNally or Clements? I realize no one probably has the inside info to answer this question, but it is one that has been bothering me since McNally was brought on board. I really thought the OL would make some strides this year in terms of run blocking and that JP would automatically make them look better in terms of pass blocking because of his mobility.

  11. I also was at the game last night and saw Vanek a couple of times last year...

Just to bring this conversation back to earth somewhat....Vanek is a VERY talented offensive player who is amazing when the puck is on his stick. That being said, he has a LONG way to go in terms of playing in his own end and be more willing to battle along the boards for the puck(considering his size, this is a bit of a letdown). It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see him end up in the doghouse before very long, due to Lindys "defense first" system. After all, this coach does not have a reputation for developing offensive talent.

Hmmmm....Sounds a little bit like a very talented player that we just let go.
